Description
(実施例1)
図11に示すコルゲートチューブを、図1及び図2に示す切断装置及び下記仕様の切断条件により切断し、20回(20サンプル)の切断における切断面及び切断粉の発生の有無を観察した。なお、コルゲートチューブの切断箇所は、図11に示す符号a及びbの2箇所である。
(コルゲートチューブ)
PTFE製の中空チューブである。長さ58mm、大径部の外径13.8mm、中径部の外径9.3mm、チューブの肉厚0.6mm
(切断位置)
コルゲートチューブの中央から端方向へ47.8mmの2箇所
(切断条件)
被加工物固定治具2の回転速度300rpm、カッターナイフの切断速度(スライド速度)0.4mm/秒
(カッターナイフ)
直線刃の高さ25mm、刃先の角度15度、刃の厚み0.3mm
<評価結果>
切断粉は発生せず、切断部と切断部から長さ方向5mmずれた位置にある外周側突起部との長さ寸法の標準偏差σは0.02mmであり、また切断部を定盤の上に乗せ目視で確認しても隙間がないことから、寸法のバラツキが非常に小さく、高い平面性を示していた。
実施例1と同じコルゲートチューブを公知の固定装置で固定し、回転刃を回転させながら移動させることにより20回の切断を実施した。その結果、「長さσ」は0.10mmであり、寸法精度が劣った。
実施例1と同じコルゲートチューブを一次カットし、その後、特殊刃物で所定寸法まで削りとった。その結果、削りとった場所の内外周にバリが発生した。また、製品の内径を削り取ってしまうこともあった。
実施例1と同じコルゲートチューブをレーザーで焼き落とした。その結果、焼き落とし面に白い粉(PTFEの低分子化物)が付着した。この白い粉は容易に除去できないものであった。

Claims (6)
- 被加工物である長尺中空の樹脂製成形体の外周面を両側から2つの半割円筒部材で挟持するように支持し、回転駆動手段の稼働により回転し、該被加工物を固定しつつ回転させる被加工物固定治具と、
該被加工物固定治具を駆動回転させる回転駆動手段と、
該被加工物固定治具の回転と共に、回転しつつ該被加工物を支持する支持手段と、
回転する被加工物を、該被加工物の軸方向における少なくとも両端部で切断するカッターナイフと、
該カッターナイフをスライド移動させるスライド移動手段と、を備えることを特徴とする切断装置。 - 該回転駆動手段と該被加工物固定治具の接続は、該回転駆動手段の歯車と該被加工物固定治具の歯車の噛み合いによるものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の切断装置。
- 該支持手段と該被加工物固定治具の接続は、該支持手段の歯車と該被加工物固定治具の歯車の噛み合いによるものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の切断装置。
- 該被加工物は、長尺中空の樹脂製成形体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の切断装置。
- 該被加工物は、PTFE製であることを特徴とする1〜4のいずれか1項記載の切断装置。
- 該カッターナイフは、切り込み角度10〜25度、刃の厚み0.2〜0.33mmであることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の切断装置。
