Description
変化したカムシャフト状態の正しい機能を検出することができる代替の診断を持つことが有益である。
前記カム輪郭切替システムの或る状態で前記エンジンを稼働する;
第1シリンダーサブセット用に流入燃料流量と対応の排気流量の酸素含有量を提供する;及び
規定の期間に前記第1シリンダーサブセットを通じて流れる空気の量(the mass of air)を計算する;
第2シリンダーサブセット用に流入燃料流量と対応の排気流量の酸素含有量を提供し、前記規定の期間に前記第2シリンダーサブセットを通じて流れる空気の量(the mass of air)を計算する;
前記第1及び第2シリンダーサブセットの空気流量(mass air flow)を比較して標準比率を求める;
前記シリンダーサブセットの一方の前記カム輪郭切替システムを代替状態に一時的に強いる;
前記第1及び第2シリンダーサブセットを通じて流れる対応の空気の量を再計算し、当該再計算された空気流量を比較して改定比率を求める;
前記標準比率と前記改定比率を比較してその大きな変化を検出するステップ群を含む。
Claims (10)
- マルチシリンダー内燃エンジンのカム輪郭切替システムの劣化の検出方法であって、該方法が、
前記カム輪郭切替システムの第1状態で前記エンジンを稼働するステップ;
前記第1状態の下で、規定の期間に第1シリンダーサブセットを通じて流れる第1空気流量を計算するステップであって、前記第1空気流量が、前記第1シリンダーサブセットについての流入燃料流量と対応の排気流量の酸素含有量から計算されるステップ;
前記第1状態の下で、前記規定の期間に第2シリンダーサブセットを通じて流れる第2空気流量を計算するステップであって、前記第2空気流量が、前記第2シリンダーサブセットについての流入燃料流量と対応の排気流量の酸素含有量から計算されるステップ;
前記第1シリンダーサブセットの前記第1空気流量と前記第2シリンダーサブセットの前記第2空気流量の比較に基づいて標準比率を求めるステップ;
前記シリンダーサブセットの一方の前記カム輪郭切替システムを代替状態に一時的に強いるステップであって、これにより前記カム輪郭切替システムの第2状態で前記エンジンが稼働するステップ;
前記代替状態への切替により生じる前記第1及び第2シリンダーサブセットにおける空気/燃料比の変化を少なくとも部分的に補償し、これにより所望の排気特性を得るために、前記カム輪郭切替システムを代替状態に一時的に強いるステップの過程で燃料注入を調整するステップ;
前記第2状態の下で、規定の期間に前記第1シリンダーサブセットを通じて流れる第3空気流量を計算するステップであって、前記第3空気流量が、前記第1シリンダーサブセットについての流入燃料流量と対応の排気流量の酸素含有量から計算されるステップ;
前記第2状態の下で、規定の期間に前記第2シリンダーサブセットを通じて流れる第4空気流量を計算するステップであって、前記第4空気流量が、前記第2シリンダーサブセットについての流入燃料流量と対応の排気流量の酸素含有量から計算されるステップ;
前記第1シリンダーサブセットの前記第3空気流量と前記第2シリンダーサブセットの前記第4空気流量の比較に基づいて改定比率を求めるステップ;及び
前記標準比率と前記改定比率の比較に基づいて前記カム輪郭切替システムの劣化を検出するステップを含む方法。 - 前記エンジンのスロットルが閉じた状態で前記カム輪郭切替システムが一時的に前記代替状態に強いられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- スロットル要求の上昇の場合に早急に終了させられる、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記シリンダーサブセットの一方の前記カム輪郭切替システムを代替状態に一時的に強いるステップが、前記カム輪郭切替システムを低持上げ状態から高持上げ状態に強いるステップを含む、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 燃料注入が化学量論の燃焼を維持するように調整される、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 燃料注入の調整と下流センサーによる対応の排気ガスの酸素含有量の検出の間の遅延を決定するステップを更に含み、
前記流入燃料流量と前記遅延後に検出される前記酸素含有量に基づいて前記第1及び第2空気流量が計算され、
調整された前記流入燃料流量と前記遅延後に検出される前記酸素含有量に基づいて前記第3及び第4空気流量が計算される、請求項1又は5に記載の方法。 - 前記遅延がエンジン速度の参照によりルックアップ表から求められる、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 各バンク用に独立のカム輪郭切替システムを有するV型エンジンで実施される請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実行するように構成された電子制御ユニット又はプロセッサ。
- 請求項9に記載の電子制御ユニット又はプロセッサを有するエンジン又は自動車。
