Description
The present invention relates to a drip-proof structure for a display device, and more particularly to a drip-proof structure using a film material.
In recent years, demands for thinner and lighter liquid crystal display devices have increased, and liquid crystal panels with higher definition than before have started to appear on the market. FIG. 8A is a perspective view of a conventional liquid
The liquid
By the way, as the resolution of liquid crystal panels is increased, the amount of heat generated on the substrate increases as more image information needs to be processed. In addition, since the panel pixels become smaller, the aperture ratio decreases, and the amount of transmitted light decreases. In order to compensate for this, the amount of heat generated also increases due to the need to increase the amount of light in the backlight section. Furthermore, as the number of pixels increases, the number of source driver ICs increases, and the overall heat generation amount also increases. Due to the temperature rise, the source driver IC located in the upper part of the housing is exposed to a high temperature atmosphere.
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 8C, a configuration in which the source driver IC 103b is disposed below the lower end portion of the

In the following, a display device using a liquid crystal panel as a display panel will be described.

駆動回路基板3cは、TAB(Tape Automated Bonding)を用いた基板である。

Next, the flow of droplets attached to the surface of the

[Second Embodiment]
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. The difference from the first embodiment is that the shape of the

Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described. The liquid
