Description
Claims (6)
- ピストンクラウン(530)を形成する方法において、
長さ(L)と横断面(C)とを有するビレット(130)を提供し、
前記ビレット(130)の長さ(L)を第2の長さ(L’)に減じかつ前記ビレット(130)の横断面(C)を第2の横断面(C’)に拡大するように、一組の第1の閉鎖型(290)を備える第1のステーションにおいて前記ビレット(130)を据え込み加工し、これにより第2のビレット(230)を形成し、
前記第2のビレット(230)の第2の長さ(L’)を第3の長さ(L’’)に減じ、前記第2のビレット(230)の第2の横断面(C’)を第3の横断面(C’’)に拡大し、且つエッジ(392)を形成するように、一組の第2の閉鎖型(390)を備える第2のステーションにおいて前記第2のビレット(230)を予備成形し、これにより第3のビレット(330)を形成し、第1のステーションと第2のステーションとは別個の構成部分であり、
一組の第3の閉鎖型(490)を備える第3のステーションにおいて、前記第3のビレット(330)をピストンクラウン(430)に成形し、該ピストンクラウン(430)は所定の材料体積(V)を有しており、
圧印加工によって前記ピストンクラウン(430)に冷却通路を成形し、前記圧印加工が、前記ピストンクラウン(430)の成形と共に行われ、
一組の第4の閉鎖型(590)を備える第4のステーションにおいて、前記ピストンクラウン(430)を、少なくとも1つのリング溝(550,552,554)を有するピストンクラウン(530)に精密成形し、前記ピストンクラウン(530)は材料体積(V’)を有していることを特徴とする、ピストンクラウンを形成する方法。 - 原料のバーを前記ビレット(130)にせん断することを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記ビレット(130)を所定の鍛造温度に加熱することを含む、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- ピストンクラウンを第1のステーションと、第2のステーションと、第3のステーションと、第4のステーションとを通って前進させることを含み、
第1のステーションと、第2のステーションと、第3のステーションと、第4のステーションとのそれぞれが、一つの成形機構アセンブリの一部である、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。 - 第3のステーションは、第4のステーションとは別個の構成部分である、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記ピストンクラウン(530)の仕上げ直径が200mm未満である、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
