Description

Claims (12)
- ステープルファイバーの不織ウェブのいかなる追加層もない単層を形成するステープルファイバーの不織ウェブであるステープルファイバーのブレンドを含む不織ウェブと、
不織ウェブに結合された研磨粒子と、
を含み、
前記ブレンドにおいて、第1の方式が第1の平均化された線密度を有するステープルファイバーの第1の部分であり、第2の方式が第2の平均化された線密度を有するステープルファイバーの第2の部分であり、第1の方式と第2の方式の間の最大限の差が少なくとも50デニールである、
研磨品。 - 前記ブレンドが、少なくとも約80デニールであり、約300デニールを超えない線密度を有するステープルファイバーの第1の部分を含む、請求項1に記載の研磨品。
- 前記ブレンドが、少なくとも約320デニールであり、約1000デニールを超えない線密度を有するステープルファイバーの第2の部分を含む、請求項2に記載の研磨品。
- 前記研磨粒子がシリル化される、請求項1に記載の研磨品。
- 前記研磨粒子が接着剤によって不織ウェブに結合される、請求項1に記載の研磨品。
- 前記単層材料が少なくとも約10%の圧縮比で圧縮される、請求項1に記載の研磨品。
- G比を研磨対象の摩耗の量に対する除去された材料の量の比としたとき、少なくとも約10のG比を有する、請求項1に記載の研磨品。
- ステープルファイバーが、
平均化された第1の線密度を有する繊維の第1の部分および第1の線密度とは異なる平均化された第2の線密度を有する繊維の第2の部分のブレンドを含み、第1の線密度と第2の線密度の間の最大限の差が少なくとも50デニールである、ステープルファイバーの不織ウェブと、
研磨粒子と、
前記不織ウェブと研磨粒子を結合する結合剤と、
を含む、
圧縮された研磨品。 - ステープルファイバーの少なくとも、平均化された線密度を有する第1の部分と平均化された線密度を有する第2の部分であり第1の部分と第2の部分の間の最大限の差が少なくとも50デニールである、2つの部分をブレンドすることと、
繊維ウェブを形成することと、
繊維ウェブを研磨粒子と混合して研磨ウェブを産出することと、
飽和配合物により研磨ウェブを飽和させることと、
飽和した研磨ウェブを圧縮することと、
圧縮の間に飽和している研磨ウェブを硬化させて研磨品を形成することと、
を含む、
研磨品を製作する方法。 - ステープルファイバーの少なくとも2つの部分に対して、ニードルパンチング、カーディング、水流交絡またはその組み合わせを施して、それを施す前より、ステープルファイバーの少なくとも2つの部分を高密度化することをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記繊維ウェブの形成がステープルファイバーのブレンドされた部分に結合剤を適用することを含み、

ステープルファイバーのブレンドされた部分上で結合剤にブラシをかけること、
ステープルファイバーのブレンドされた部分上に結合剤を巻くこと、
またはその任意の組み合わせ、
を含む、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 前記研磨粒子を混合前にカップリング剤により処理することをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
