Description

The present invention relates to a bus bar constituting an electrical junction box.

。   Conventionally, bus bars are used as wiring members in electrical junction boxes for automobiles. FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing a conventional bus bar. FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing another conventional bus bar (see Patent Document 1).

The bus bar 201 shown in FIG. 7 is obtained by pressing a single metal plate, and includes a base 220, a plurality of terminals 221 electrically connected to a relay and the like, and a plurality of terminals electrically connected to a fuse. And a tuning fork terminal 231.

The tuning fork terminal 231 is formed in a tuning fork shape in which a groove 232 into which a fuse terminal is press-fitted is formed. In addition, in order for the tuning fork terminal 231 to securely hold the fuse terminal in the groove 232, the spring property of the material of the bus bar 201 itself is important, so the materials that can be used for the bus bar 201 are limited. Therefore, inexpensive materials could not be used.

A bus bar 301 shown in FIG. 8 includes a main body 302 provided with a base 220 and a plurality of terminals 221 and a separate body 303 provided with a plurality of tuning fork-like terminals 231 which are overlapped with each other and assembled by welding or the like. Configured. In this bus bar 301, the separate part 303 provided with the tuning fork-shaped terminal 231 is provided with the bus bar 201 in order to achieve both good springiness at the tuning fork-shaped terminal 231 and lower the cost of the entire bus bar. The main body 302 is made of an inexpensive material.

However, the conventional bus bar 301 shown in FIG. 8 has the following problems. That is, in the conventional bus bar 301, the main body portion 302 and the separate body portion 303 are overlapped with each other and assembled by welding or the like, so that the thickness thereof is about twice that of the conventional bus bar 201 shown in FIG. There was a problem that the connection box would be enlarged. Further, in the conventional bus bar 301, the main body portion 302 and the separate body portion 303 are formed by press working, and then these are assembled by welding or the like in a line different from the press working line, that is, post-processing after press working. Therefore, there is a problem that the cost effect is halved.

In addition to the bus bar 301 described above, there is a bus bar that is configured by superimposing a plurality of metal plates and assembling them by welding or the like, but the above-described thickness problem is similarly present in such a bus bar. It was.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a bus bar having a small thickness, which is configured by assembling a plurality of metal plates, and an electric junction box including the bus bar.

(First embodiment)
A bus bar according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. A bus bar 1A of the present invention shown in FIG. 1 is housed in a synthetic resin housing and constitutes an electric junction box for automobiles. The electrical junction box is attached to the engine room of the automobile and supplies power and transmits signals to various electronic devices mounted on the automobile. In the present specification, the junction block (junction box), the fuse block (fuse box), and the relay block (relay box) are collectively referred to as an “electric connection box”.

As shown in FIG. 3, the bus bar 1 </ b> A includes a main body 2 </ b> A and a separate body 3 </ b> A obtained by pressing a metal plate and assembled together by pressing.

The main body 2A has a base 20 bent in a U-shape and a plurality of terminals 21 protruding from the outer edges 20a, 20b of the base 20. The plurality of terminals 21 are formed in a rectangular shape and are electrically connected to a relay or the like. Further, the terminal 21 is provided with a locking hole 22 for locking to the housing of the electrical junction box. Further, the base portion 20 is provided with a recessed portion 23 that is formed in a rectangular shape from the outer edge 20b. The recess 23 has three inner edges 23b, 23c, and 23d. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a later-described plate portion 30 of the separate portion 3 </ b> A is fitted into the recessed portion 23.

The main body portion 2A is provided with three convex portions 4 that are convex from the inner edge 23b of the concave portion 23, that is, the outer edge 23b of the main body portion 2A. These convex portions 4 are constituted by a neck portion 41 protruding from the outer edge 23 b and a head portion 42 provided at the tip of the neck portion 41 and having a width wider than the neck portion 41. In addition, the head portion 42 is formed in a circular shape in the present embodiment.

The separate part 3A includes a rectangular plate part 30 having the same shape as the recess part 23 and slightly larger than the recess part 23, and a plurality of tuning forks protruding from one outer edge 30a of the plate part 30. And the like terminal 31. The plurality of tuning fork terminals 31 are formed in a tuning fork shape in which grooves 32 into which terminals of fuses (electronic parts in claims) are press-fitted are formed.

In addition, the separate part 3A is provided with three recesses 5 formed as a recess from the outer edge 30b of the plate part 30 facing the one outer edge 30a, that is, the outer edge 30b of the separate part 3A. . These concave portions 5 have the same shape as the convex portions 4 and are slightly smaller than the convex portions 4. A dotted line in FIG. 4 represents the size of the convex portion 4 with respect to the concave portion 5.

Further, the separate part 3A is made of an expensive metal material that can obtain a good spring property in the tuning fork terminal 31 so that the terminal of the fuse can be securely held in the groove 32 of the tuning fork terminal 31. On the other hand, the main body 2A is made of a metal material that is cheaper than the separate body 3A in order to reduce the cost of the bus bar 1A as a whole.

In the bus bar 1A having such a configuration, the main body 2A and the separate body 3A are formed by the plate portion 30 being driven and fitted into the recess 23 and the convex portion 4 being driven and fitted into the concave portion 5. The three outer edges 30b, 30c, and 30d of the plate portion 30, that is, the outer edges 30b, 30c, and 30d of the separate body portion 3A, and the three inner edges 23b, 23c, and 23d of the recess portion 23, that is, the main body portion 2A are assembled. The outer edges 23b, 23c, and 23d are closely attached.

Thus, the bus bar 1A of the present invention does not overlap and weld the main body portion 2A and the separate body portion 3A, but presses the plate portion 30 and the recessed portion 23, and the convex portion 4 and the recessed portion 5. Since the main body 2A and the separate body 3A are assembled by fitting together, that is, by caulking, the main body 2A and the separate body 3A can be arranged on the same plane, and the thickness thereof is reduced. be able to. That is, the thickness of the bus bar 1A can be made equal to one metal plate.

That is, “slightly” of “the concave portion 5 is the same shape as the convex portion 4 and slightly smaller than the convex portion 4” described above is when the convex portion 4 is driven into the concave portion 5 and fitted therein. In addition, it means an amount such that the convex part 4 does not fall out of the concave part 5 and the convex part 4 and the concave part 5 are not destroyed.

Further, in the bus bar 1A according to the present invention, the process of punching the main body 2A and the separate part 3A from the metal plate and the process of assembling the main body 2A and the separate part 3A to each other are in a progressive mold. Done in For this reason, compared with the prior art, post-processing after press working, that is, welding, becomes unnecessary, and the processing cost can be reduced.

The bus bar 1A formed as described above is inserted into the housing of the electrical junction box, and the latch hole 22 is latched in the housing, so that the bus bar 1A is attached to the housing and electrically connected to a fuse, a relay, and the like. Since the electrical junction box of the present invention assembled in this way is provided with the bus bar 1A having a small thickness, an extra space is not required and the size can be reduced.

(Second Embodiment)
A bus bar according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. In FIG. 3, the same components as those in the first embodiment described above are denoted by the same reference numerals and description thereof is omitted.

The bus bar 1B of the present embodiment is configured by assembling a main body 2B provided with a convex part 6 and a separate part 3B provided with a concave part 7 by pressing.

The convex portion 6 is composed of a neck portion 61 protruding from the outer edge 23 b and a head portion 62 provided at the tip of the neck portion 61 and having a width wider than the neck portion 61. Moreover, the head 62 is formed in a triangle in this embodiment.

The concave portion 7 has the same shape as the convex portion 6 and is slightly smaller than the convex portion 6.

In the bus bar 1B having such a configuration, the plate portion 30 is driven and fitted into the recess 23 and the convex portion 6 is driven and fitted into the concave portion 7 so that the main body portion 2B and the separate portion 3B are connected. The three outer edges 30b, 30c, 30d of the plate part 30, that is, the outer edges 30b, 30c, 30d of the separate part 3B, and the three inner edges 23b, 23c, 23d of the recessed part 23, ie, the main body part 2B, are assembled together. The outer edges 23b, 23c, and 23d are closely attached.

In the first embodiment described above, the main body 2A and the separate body 3A are made of different metal materials. However, the main body 2B and the separate body 3B of the present embodiment are the same type of metal. Consists of materials. That is, the bus bar 1B of the present invention employs a configuration in which the main body 2B and the separate body 3B are formed separately and then assembled in order to improve the material yield.

Thus, in the present invention, the main body portion and the separate body portion may be made of different metal materials or may be made of the same kind of metal material.
