Description
The present invention relates to a workpiece transfer device, and more particularly, to a device that includes a chain conveyor and a carriage that is pullably connected to the conveyor, and that conveys the carriage on which a workpiece is placed on the chain conveyor.
For example, there are various types of assembly lines used when producing automobile parts such as engines, and the form of the assembly line is determined according to the layout in the factory, the number of production, and the like. As such an assembly line, for example, an assembly line as described in Patent Document 1 below is known. That is, the assembly line includes a chain conveyor in which a chain belt is disposed above the floor along the track of the assembly line, a carriage that conveys the track of the assembly line in synchronization with the chain belt, In the state where the carriage is connected to the chain belt by the engagement tool, the carriage is transported along the assembly line as the chain belt is driven. A predetermined work can be performed on the automobile parts placed on the carriage. Moreover, the said locking tool is always connected with a chain belt and pulls a trolley | bogie, except leaving | separating from a chain belt in the predetermined position (bending part) on a track | orbit.
By the way, in the assembly line, when an operator performs an assembly operation from various directions on a work (automobile part) placed on a carriage, or between carriages arranged on the assembly line. When passing, it may accidentally contact or collide with the carriage. Normally, on the assembly line, the carriage is locked (coupled and fixed) to the chain belt via a locking tool as described in Patent Document 1 above. Therefore, as described above, when the worker contacts or collides with the carriage, a force (impact) corresponding to the total weight of the carriage and the workpiece placed on the carriage is received and the worker is injured. There was a risk.
In addition, as described above, the assembly line in which the chain belt is disposed above the floor surface is superior in terms of maintenance and cost compared to the assembly line in which the chain belt is embedded under the floor. It tends to be used for low-volume production applications that operate irregularly. In addition, since the work efficiency is not so high for small-volume production, there is a tendency to save space on the assembly line by, for example, closing the space between the work spaces. However, in such an assembly line, as described above, the chain belt may be exposed on the floor or the entire line may be saved in space. In addition to the person who performs the task, the movement space is also limited. For this reason, there has been a problem that it is likely to contact or collide with the carriage on the assembly line during movement.
In view of the above circumstances, when a worker comes in contact with a carriage transported on an assembly line, a workpiece transport apparatus that can avoid as much as possible a situation in which the worker or the like receives a strong impact from the carriage and is injured. It is a technical problem to be solved by the present invention.
The solution to the above-described problem is achieved by the work transfer device according to the present invention. That is, the work conveying device includes a chain conveyor arranged so as to be able to drive a chain belt along an assembly line, a carriage capable of placing a work to be supplied to the assembly line, and a coupling device that couples the carriage to the chain belt. In the workpiece transfer device that is transported on the assembly line by being pulled by the driving force of the chain belt, the connecting device is engaged with the chain belt, and the cart is engaged with the chain belt in the engaged state. The engaging portion includes a holding auxiliary member attached to the chain belt, and a pair of holding members that hold the chain belt via the holding auxiliary member. the member, sandwiching the auxiliary member the clamping can claw portion in the width direction is a direction perpendicular to the conveying direction of the horizontal direction in and carriage is provided, the inner peripheral surface of the pawl portion is sandwiched complement Together forms a semi-cylindrical surface shape corresponding to the outer peripheral surface of the member, the inner peripheral surface upper and lower protrudes inward in the widthwise direction from the outer peripheral surface of the clamping auxiliary member, and, in either transporting direction before and after the carriage side Even when a predetermined load is applied to the vehicle, the carriage is allowed to move along the conveyance direction and to the side opposite to the side on which the load is applied, and movement in a direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction is restricted. In this state, the engagement state between the chain belt and the engagement portion is released.
As described above, in the present invention, the coupling device that couples the chain conveyor (chain belt) and the carriage by the engagement is configured so that the engagement state is released when a predetermined load is applied to the carriage. Therefore, for example, when an operator or the like accidentally contacts or collides with the carriage during work or movement, the engagement state between the carriage and the chain conveyor is released due to an impact at the time of contact (collision). Thereby, the impact which an operator receives from a trolley | bogie is relieved, As a result, the situation where an operator is injured can be avoided as much as possible. Moreover, since the release of the engaged state is performed in a state where movement in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction on the assembly line of the carriage is restricted, even in a state where the engaged state is released, It is possible to prevent the carriage from being completely detached from the chain conveyor, and to limit the movable range of the carriage to the necessary minimum (on the assembly line). Therefore, it is possible to avoid as much as possible the situation where the carriage separated from the chain belt comes into contact or collides with an operator or the like again.
In particular, in this type of assembly line, for example, as shown in FIG. 1, the worker W who performs work in each work area 3 on the assembly line 1 is usually at the reference standing position (work position). 1 is opposed to the direction perpendicular to the conveying direction. Therefore, the position where an operator or the like suddenly contacts or collides with the carriage is limited to the area between the carriage and the carriage arranged on the assembly line, and the contact (collision) direction at that time is approximately the carriage. Are moved along the assembly line (in FIG. 1, the direction indicated by the arrow d). The present invention has been made in view of this point, and the engagement state between the carriage and the chain belt is released while only allowing movement of the carriage in the conveying direction on the assembly line. Thus, the cart can be released in a direction away from the worker who collided with the cart. As a result, while significantly reducing the impact that the worker receives from the carriage, the possibility of the operator coming into contact with or colliding with the carriage again due to the movement of the carriage after the collision is eliminated, and the worker is injured. It becomes possible to prevent with higher probability.
Here, as a means for partially restricting the movement of the carriage at the time of releasing the engagement with the chain belt, for example, separately from the engagement section, the carriage of the carriage at the time of releasing the engagement between the engagement section and the chain belt. You may make it provide the movement control means which controls the movement of the direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction, permitting the movement to a direction. Alternatively, the engagement portion is constituted by a clamping member that clamps the chain belt, and the state where the chain belt is clamped by the clamping member is maintained in a state where the engagement state between the clamping member and the chain belt is released. You may comprise. In particular, according to the latter configuration, when the engagement portion (clamping member) is disengaged from the chain belt, it can also function as a movement restricting means for the carriage, so that the configuration of the coupling device can be simplified and manufactured. This is beneficial both in terms of cost and space.
As described above, according to the workpiece transfer device according to the present invention, when an operator touches the carriage transported on the assembly line, it is possible for the worker etc. to be injured by receiving a strong impact from the carriage. Can be avoided.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of a work transfer device according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In this embodiment, a case where the work transfer device according to the present invention is applied to an assembly line of an automobile engine will be described as an example. In the following description, the vertical direction is simply referred to as the vertical direction unless otherwise specified.
FIG. 1 shows a plan view of an assembly process according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the figure, this assembly process includes an assembly line 1 for an automobile engine that constitutes a closed loop, and a work transfer device incorporated in the assembly line 1. (Omitted) are transported integrally, and the assembly work of engine parts (both not shown) is carried out by the operator W in each work area 3. A specific example will be described. First, the cylinder block is transferred from the direction indicated by the arrow a in FIG. 1 onto the
The workpiece transfer apparatus includes a
As shown in FIG. 2, the connecting
As shown in FIG. 4A, the sandwiching
As shown in FIG. 3, the pair of clamping
The
In the workpiece transfer device having the above-described configuration, when the workpiece is transferred, the
Also, for example, even if a worker W who performs a predetermined assembly work in each work area 3 unexpectedly contacts or collides with the
In this embodiment, the clamping force adjusting means 28 applies a certain clamping force to the pair of claws 27 (the clamping member 23), so that the clamping (engaged) state is released as described above. In this case, a force for continuing to hold the holding
As shown in FIG. 5, the direction of the arrow f is still when the horizontal end of the
In addition, as in this embodiment, if the
As mentioned above, although one Embodiment of the workpiece conveyance apparatus which concerns on this invention was described, this workpiece conveyance apparatus is not limited to the said illustration form, It can take arbitrary forms within the scope of the present invention. is there.
FIG. 7 shows an example, and the connecting
By disposing the
Of course, when the
Moreover, although the said embodiment demonstrated taking the case where the workpiece conveyance apparatus based on this invention was applied to the assembly process of a motor vehicle engine as an example, this invention naturally applies also to components assembly processes other than a motor vehicle engine. It is possible.
Of course, other specific forms can be adopted for matters other than the above as long as the technical significance of the present invention is not lost.
