Description
This case relates to a presence / absence duration estimation method, a presence / absence duration estimation program, and a presence / absence duration estimation device.
In recent years, there is a system that realizes energy saving by determining whether a user is present in a room or not and controlling a device. For example, a human sensor or the like detects that the user has entered or left the room and turns on / off the air conditioner, or puts an unused PC into standby when watching TV There are systems.
Further,
However, there is a possibility that energy saving cannot be appropriately achieved only by controlling the device in consideration of whether the user is present or absent in the room. For example, in air conditioners, the room temperature rises after the cooling operation is stopped in summer, and the power consumption when the air conditioner is operated again becomes very large. Can be planned. Thus, it is considered that energy saving can be more appropriately achieved by controlling the operation based on the time during which the user stays in the room or the time during which the user stays away.
However, conventionally, it has not been possible to estimate the time for which the user continues to be in the room or the time for which the user continues to be away (the absence continuation time).

<< First Embodiment >>
Hereinafter, the first embodiment of the device control system will be described in detail with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 1 shows a schematic configuration of a
FIG. 2 shows the hardware configuration of the
FIG. 3 is a functional block diagram of the
The
The
The
When the
The feature
The feature
When the
The event
Next, the processing of the
In the process of FIG. 7, first, in step S <b> 10, the
In step S12, the
Next, in step S14, the
When the determination in step S14 is affirmed and the process proceeds to step S16, the
In step S18, the
After the process of step S22 is performed, the process proceeds to step S24. In step S24, an end event processing subroutine is executed. Specifically, in step S24, processing according to the flowchart of FIG. 8 is executed.
In the process of FIG. 8, first, in step S <b> 40, the feature
Next, in step S <b> 42, the feature
In step S44, the feature
Here, the
In the “feature calculation method” and “duration estimation method” fields, the feature calculation method used when each estimation method estimates the event duration and the event duration using the feature etc. An estimation method is stored. In FIG. 9, conditions and methods are described in text, but a program name or the like may be described and executed.
Returning to FIG. 8, in step S44, specifically, the feature
Next, in step S46, the feature
When the process proceeds to step S48, the feature
Next, in step S50, the related event extraction unit 34 extracts an event (related event) having the same situation as the start event of the detected event and the usage event condition. More specifically, when the detected event is the event shown in the upper part of FIG. 10, the related event extracting unit 34 has the same event name as the detected event, and the same day of the week and the time zone (FIG. 10). Are extracted from the
Next, in step S52, the
Next, in step S54, the feature
Then, by repeating the processing / judgment of steps S48 to S56, the feature amount is recorded in each of the databases of FIGS. 11 (a) to 11 (c). Here, FIG. 11A is an estimation method-specific
For example, assume that related events as shown in the lower part of FIG. 10 are extracted in step S50. In this case, in the feature amount calculation method with the estimation method ID = 001, 57.25 minutes, which is an average of 55 minutes (detection event), 1 hour, 56 minutes, and 58 minutes, is obtained as the average duration from the start to the end. Desired. Then, as the average of the error between this average (57.25 minutes) and each duration, the average of 2.25 minutes, 2.75 minutes, 1.25 minutes, and 0.75 minutes (1.75 minutes≈1.8) This is the characteristic amount when the “watching living TV” event starts on Monday from 18:00 to 24:00.
In addition, in the feature amount calculation method with the estimation method ID = 002, the average error (0 minutes, 0 minutes, 4 minutes, and 28 minutes) between the mode value of the end time (here, 22:00) and each end time. The average value is 8.0 minutes). Further, in the feature amount calculation method with the estimation method ID = 003, the average (in this case, 1.5 minutes) of the difference between each end time and the time every 30 minutes closest to the end time is the feature amount. .
Note that, if a value already exists in the estimation method-specific
As described above, when all the end event processes in FIG. 8 are completed, the process returns to step S10 in FIG.
Returning to FIG. 7, if the determination in step S <b> 16 is affirmative, that is, if the event type is “start”, the process proceeds to step S <b> 26. In step S26, the
Next, in step S28, a start event processing subroutine is executed. Specifically, in step S28, processing according to the flowchart of FIG. 12 is executed.
In the process of FIG. 12, first, in step S60, the estimation
Next, in step S62, the estimation
When the determination in step S62 is affirmed and the process proceeds to step S64, the estimation
Next, in step S66, the estimation
Here, it can be said that the criterion for selecting the estimation method depends on the feature amount calculation method. That is, in this embodiment, since the feature amount is calculated using an average of errors, an estimation method with a small error, that is, a small feature amount is selected as the estimation method (probable estimation method). However, the present invention is not limited to this, and any value may be adopted as the feature amount as long as it can be compared between estimation methods. For example, when the feature amount is calculated using the number of events whose duration is within a certain range, an estimation method having a large feature amount (a large number of events) may be selected as a probable estimation method. Further, when the calculation is performed using a range that includes most of the duration time, an estimation method having a small feature amount (a narrow range) may be selected as a probable estimation method.
Next, in step S70, the event
Returning to FIG. 12, in the next step S72, a sub-routine of the absence / absence duration estimation process is executed. In step S72, processing according to the flowcharts of FIGS. 14 and 15 is executed.
In step S72, first, in step S80 of FIG. 14, the presence / absence
If the determination in step S80 is affirmative, that is, if the duration has been set in the event detection room, the process proceeds to step S82. If it transfers to step S82, the absence presence
Scheduled end-of-life time = duration set time + duration of stay (1)
Event end scheduled time = current time + event duration ... (2)
Next, in step S84, the absence continuation
If the determination in step S84 is negative, that is, if the scheduled event end time is earlier than the scheduled end time (the time is close to the present time), the current duration is not updated without passing through step S86. Without moving to step S88. If the determination in step S80 is negative, that is, if there is no continuation time in the event detection room, the process proceeds directly to step S86, where the absence continuation
In the processing so far, the duration of the event is set to the duration of the event detection room based on the assumption that the room is in the room where the event was detected while the event continues. Also, if the duration of the room has already been set by another event, the duration of the event is set to the duration of the event detection room only if the scheduled end time of the event is later than the scheduled end time. I am going to set it. For example, assume that the user turns on the TV in a room where the air conditioner is already turned on. In such a case, only when the estimated time when the TV is turned off is later than the estimated time when the air conditioner is turned off, the duration of the TV viewing event is set (updated) as the current duration. Shall.
In the above description, the continuation time is newly set when the scheduled end time becomes late. However, the present invention is not limited to this. In estimating the event duration, not only the time but also the accuracy thereof may be calculated, and a duration with higher estimation accuracy may be set. Alternatively, the current duration may be set by weighting a plurality of durations according to the accuracy.
If it transfers to step S88 of FIG. 14, the absence continuation
Next, in step S90, the absence continuation
If transfering it to step S92, the absence continuation
On the other hand, if the determination in step S94 is affirmative, that is, if the absence duration is set in a room without a user, the process proceeds to step S96. In step S96, the absence continuation
Absence scheduled end time = duration set time + absence duration (3)
Event end scheduled time = current time + event duration ... (4)
Next, in step S98, the absence continuation
In step S <b> 102, the absence / absence
Returning to FIG. 12, in the processing of step S74, a subroutine of device control processing is executed. In step S74, the process according to the flowchart of FIG. 17 is executed.
In step S74, first, in step S110 of FIG. 17, the
In step S114, the
For example, the
For example, it is assumed that the user has a habit of turning on the TV in the living room every morning after 7:00 to watch the news, and turning off the TV at about 7:25 to start preparations for work. In such a case, the
In addition, it is customary to watch videos recorded on weekdays on weekend evenings. In such a case, the
After step S116 is performed as described above, the process proceeds to step S118, and the
As can be seen from the above description, in the first embodiment, the function of the first information acquisition unit and the second information acquisition unit is realized by the
As described above, according to the first embodiment, when the
Further, in the first embodiment, it is possible to perform control such that the power consumption of a device (such as a home appliance) is appropriate based on the estimated presence / absence duration. In particular, in home appliances such as air conditioners, it may be more efficient to keep the power on in the absence of a short period of time, but in such a case, appropriate device control is possible.
Further, in the first embodiment, when calculating / estimating the feature amount and event duration time, the event information and the event (the start day of the week and the start time zone coincide with each other) Related event information is also used. Thereby, it is possible to statistically calculate and estimate the feature amount and the event duration time with high accuracy based on information on a plurality of events having common occurrence situations.
In the first embodiment, the case has been described in which one state is a state in which the device is turned on and the other state is a state in which the device is turned off. It is not limited. For example, one state may be a state in which the power source of the device is turned off, and another state may be a state in which the power source of the device is turned on. Further, as one state and the other state, other states can be adopted.
In the first embodiment, it is assumed that the

Next, a device control system according to the second embodiment will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. In the second embodiment, in addition to the processing of the first embodiment described above, the

The re-estimation
The event duration re-estimation unit 62 re-estimates the time that the event continues with the re-estimation method selected by the re-estimation

The event
The event history DB (when an event change occurs) in FIG. 21 is obtained by newly adding a “change” field to the event history DB 52 (FIG. 6) of the first embodiment. The “change” field stores the date and time when the “change” event is detected. It should be noted that a change in the event may occur a plurality of times from the start to the end of the event, so that a plurality of detection times can be recorded in the “change” field. The event history DB (when an event change occurs) 52 may record the “status name” of the device at the time of event detection together with the detection time as details of the change.
The estimation method list (re-estimation) 54 ′ in FIG. 23 includes “re-estimation method ID”, “re-estimation method”, “re-estimation event”, “use event condition”, “feature amount calculation method”, “duration” Field of “re-estimation method”. The “re-estimation method ID” field stores an identifier for uniquely identifying a method for re-estimating the event duration. The “re-estimation method” field stores a name that uniquely identifies the re-estimation method. The “re-estimable event” field stores an event name that can re-estimate the event duration. In the “use event condition” field, a condition for extracting an event necessary for calculating a feature value used in re-estimation is stored. The feature value calculation method field stores a feature value calculation method used when each estimation method re-estimates the event duration. The “duration re-estimation method” field stores a method for re-estimating the event duration using a feature amount or the like. In the second embodiment, in the “usage event condition”, in addition to the event name, the day of the event start date and time, and the time zone shown in FIG. 9, the day and time zone of the event change date and time can be set. When the details of the change are recorded in the event history DB 52 (when an event change occurs) in FIG. May be conditional on the contents.
Next, the processing of the
In the process of FIG. 22, first, in step S <b> 200, the
Next, in step S204, the
When the process proceeds to step S206, the
Next, in step S214, a subroutine for end event processing is executed. In the process of step S214, specifically, the process according to the flowchart of FIG. 24 is executed.
In the process of FIG. 24, first, in step S250, the feature
When the determination in step S252 is affirmed and the process proceeds to step S254, the feature
If the determination in step S256 is negative (when the estimation method cannot be acquired), or if the determination in step S264 is affirmative (when the calculation of the feature values of all acquired estimation methods is completed), The process proceeds to step S266.
In step S266, the feature
In step S268 of FIG. 25, the feature
Next, in step S270, the feature
In step S272, the feature
In step S276, the feature
Next, in step S280, the feature
Next, in step S282, the feature
Next, in step S284, the feature
By the way, if the determination in step S274 is negative, that is, if there is no content regarding the situation at the time of change in the “use event condition” field of the selected re-estimation method, the process proceeds to step S288. In step S288, the related event extraction unit 34 extracts an event (related event) having the same situation as the start event of the detected event and the usage event condition.
Next, in step S290, the feature
Returning to FIG. 22, if the start and end events cannot be detected from the state change notification received by the
In step S216, the
Next, in step S218, the
Next, in step S224, the
After step S224, a change event processing subroutine is executed in step S226. This change event process is a process of re-estimating the event duration (the duration set in the start event process S230) and using it for device control. In the process of step S226, the process according to the flowchart of FIG. 26 (steps S300 to S314) is executed. A specific method is substantially the same as the start event process (steps S60 to S74 in FIG. 12) of the first embodiment described above.
Hereinafter, the process of FIG. 26 will be briefly described. First, the re-estimation
If the determination in step S206 in FIG. 22 is affirmed, that is, if the
As can be seen from the above description, in the second embodiment, the feature
As described above in detail, according to the second embodiment, when one or more “change” events are recorded in the corresponding detection event when the end event is detected, the event duration time is reset. When the feature amount for each re-estimation method to be estimated is calculated and a change event is detected, the re-estimation method used for re-estimating the event duration is calculated based on the calculated feature amount for each re-estimation method. Select and re-estimate event duration. Thereby, in this 2nd Embodiment, according to the change of the condition in a room, event duration time can be re-estimated with high precision, and by extension, absence-and-absence duration time can be estimated with high precision. . Further, in the second embodiment, it is possible to perform control such that the power consumption of a device (such as a home appliance) is appropriate based on the estimated presence / absence duration.
<< Third Embodiment >>
Next, a device control system according to the third embodiment will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. FIG. 27 shows a schematic configuration diagram of a
FIG. 28 shows a functional block diagram of the
The device
The device
In the third embodiment, the
Next, the process of the
In FIG. 30, when the event that matches the state change notification received by the
Next, in step S15B, the device
In the third embodiment, an
For example, it is assumed that the user always turns on the TV on weekday nights, but has a habit of turning off the TV and going to bed when the living room gets cold and falls below 12 degrees. Even in such a case, by using the third embodiment, when the power of the TV is turned on, the time from the current temperature until the living room becomes 12 degrees is calculated. It is possible to estimate the time until the temperature is turned off. As a result, it can be determined that the user stays in the living room for the estimated time and the other rooms (for example, own room) are absent. Therefore, the air conditioner and lighting in these rooms should be controlled appropriately. Is possible.
Other processes are the same as those in the first embodiment described above. Therefore, explanation of other processing is omitted.
As described above in detail, according to the third embodiment, when an “end” event is detected, other devices (sensors) acquired during the continuation of the event together with information on the “end” event are detected. Etc.), and feature values are calculated using these, and when a “start” event is detected, information on other devices (sensors, etc.) is also acquired along with the “start” event information. These are used to estimate the event duration. As a result, in the third embodiment, it is possible to calculate the feature amount and estimate the event duration using the additional information (information on other devices) corresponding to the event. In addition, the presence / absence duration time can be estimated with high accuracy. In addition, by using the presence / absence duration estimated with high accuracy, the device can be controlled appropriately.
In the third embodiment, when the device
Note that the third embodiment can be combined with the second embodiment described above. That is, the information of another device may be used in the re-estimation of the event duration in the second embodiment.
<< Fourth Embodiment >>
Next, a fourth embodiment will be described based on FIG. 34 and FIG. In the fourth embodiment, as shown in FIG. 34, the device
FIG. 35 shows an example of the
In the fourth embodiment, for example, at the time of detecting a “living TV viewing” event, an electronic program guide (EPG) is acquired from the broadcasting station, and the “start” and “end” events and the start time and end of the viewing program are obtained. Record the difference from the time. For example, it is assumed that the user has a habit of watching each week until the end of the program. In such a case, the
Also, for example, at the time of detecting a “living TV viewing” event, the weather and predicted temperature are acquired from the weather forecast and recorded together with the event. For example, suppose that the user has a habit of turning on the TV regardless of time on holidays, but turning off the TV and starting housework when the weather improves. Even in such a case, the
If there is no sensor in the house (there is not enough), the server 10 '' 'acquires the temperature and illuminance from the AMeDAS information, and uses this as a substitute (or complement) for the sensor in the house. It can also be. As a result, it is possible to estimate the event duration as in the third embodiment.
As described above in detail, according to the fourth embodiment, at least part of the information of other devices described in the third embodiment is an information source outside the space where the device related to the event is installed.
