Description
1重量%の赤外線吸収材料(Nippon Shokubai Co.Ltd.によって販売されるEX Color IR−10A)を含有し、約20マイクロメートルの厚さを有するウレタンアクリレート樹脂(Sumitomo 3M Ltd.によって販売されるGA−3)を、角柱形状シート(3M Companyによって販売されるBR190500グレー角柱形状シート)上にコーティングした。UVインクジェットプリンター(356dpi×540dpi(140.2dpcm×212.6dpcm)の解像度で動作する、Electronics for Imaging,Inc.によって販売されるVUTEk QS2000 UVプリンター)を用いて、白色着色層(3M Companyによって販売される3M 2800 UVインク)をコーティングされたシート上に印刷して、線幅1.25ptのメッシュパターン(1.714pt×1.714pt)を形成した。
UVインクジェットプリンター(356dpi×540dpi(140.2dpcm×212.6dpcm)の解像度で動作する、Electronics for Imaging,Inc.によって販売されるVUTEk QS2000 UVプリンター)を用いて、白色着色層(3M Companyによって販売される3M 2800 UVインク)を角柱形状シート(3M Companyによって販売されるBR190500グレー角柱形状シート)上に印刷して、線幅1.25ptのメッシュパターン(1.714pt×1.714pt)を形成した。1重量%の赤外線吸収材料(Nippon Shokubai Co.Ltd.によって販売されるEX Color IR−10A)を含有するウレタンアクリレート樹脂(Sumitomo 3M Ltd.によって販売されるGA−3)を印刷された角柱形状シート上にコーティングして、約20マイクロメートルの厚さを達成した。
ウレタンアクリレート(Daicel−Cytec Co.Ltd.によって販売されるKRM8292)と、光開始剤(Chiba Japan Co.Ltd.によって販売されるDaro Cur TPO)と、赤外線吸収剤(Nippon Shokubai Co.Ltd.によって販売されるEx Color IR−10A)との100:1:0.3混合物を、ニッケルのキューブコーナー成形型上にコーティングした。次に、コーティングされた成形型を真空箱内で脱気した。その結果得られたPETフィルムを被覆し、圧迫し、約400nm〜約450nmの波長を有する可視光線(光は、Philips Ltd.によって販売される15WのAqua Coral蛍光灯で放射された)に10分間曝露した。次に、キューブコーナー素子を成形型から外した。キューブコーナー素子の凸部をアルミニウムで蒸気コーティングした(蒸気コーティング厚は、約300オングストロームであった)。Gerberによって販売されるGerber Edge IIプリンターを用いて、感圧接着剤(3M Companyによって販売される3M Scotchcal 220−114)を含む透明フィルム上に、白色の300マイクロメートル幅の線を200マイクロメートル間隔で印刷した。この白色の線は、3M Companyによって販売される3M 2800 UVインクを用いて印刷した。その結果得られた印刷されたフィルムは、感圧接着剤部を再帰反射性シートに付着させることによって、上記のように作製した再帰反射性シートに貼り付けた。
市販の角柱形状シート(3M Companyによって販売されるBR190500グレー角柱形状シート)を評価した。
白色のメラニン塗装プレート(Paltec Co.Ltd.によって販売されるSPCC−SD)を評価した。
Claims (5)
- 再帰反射性シートであって、
キューブコーナー素子と、
前記キューブコーナー素子に隣接する反射体層又はシール層の少なくとも1つと、
赤外線不透過材料と、を含み、
前記赤外線不透過材料は、前記再帰反射性シートの表面全体をコーティング又は被覆する、再帰反射性シート。 - キューブコーナー素子と、
前記キューブコーナー素子の裏側に隣接する反射体層又はシール層の少なくとも1つと、
前記キューブコーナー素子の前側に隣接する赤外線不透過層と、
白色度向上材料と、を含む、再帰反射性シート。 - 赤外線不透過材料を含むキューブコーナー素子と、
前記キューブコーナー素子の裏側に隣接する反射体層又はシール層の少なくとも1つと、を含む、再帰反射性シート。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の再帰反射性シートを用いるナンバープレート。
- 請求項4に記載のナンバープレートと、
前記ナンバープレートに光を向ける光源と、
前記ナンバープレートを画像化できる機械と、を含む、ALPRシステム。
