Claims (3)
- マシン・コントロール可能な方法であって、
プロセッサにおいて、所定のバッチ・ジョブのための拡張間隔サービスの質(QoS)仕様を決定するステップであって、n時間スライスの時間区間の終了までに前記バッチ・ジョブが完了されないことになる失敗の許容確度qの決定を包含する、拡張間隔QoS仕様を決定するステップと、
n時間スライスのうちの少なくとも第1の時間スライスについて、前記プロセッサにおいて、前記バッチ・ジョブのための残存データ・センタ・リソース要件Tを、前記拡張間隔QoS仕様に少なくとも部分的に基づいて決定するステップと、
前記プロセッサにおいて、前記バッチ・ジョブのための即時QoS仕様を決定するステップであって、少なくとも前記第1の時間スライスについて失敗許容度pを決定し、失敗がmまたはそれより少ないとする確度が、要求される成功レート(1−q)より大きいかまたは等しくなるような最少失敗数mを特定することを含む、即時QoS仕様を決定するステップと、
前記第1時間スライスについてのデータ・センタ・リソース予約Sを、T、n、およびmに基づいて決定するステップと、
前記第1の時間スライスにおける前記バッチ・ジョブの進捗および失敗の許容確度qに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記データ・センタ・リソース予約Sもしくは失敗許容度p、またはその両方を調整するステップと、
を含むマシン・コントロール可能な方法。 - さらに、前記n時間スライスのうちの少なくとも第2の時間スライスについて、前記即時QoS仕様を、前記バッチ・ジョブの前記進捗に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記プロセッサにおいて決定するステップを包含し、それにおいて前記第2の時間スライスは、前記第1の時間スライスの後であり、かつ前記バッチ・ジョブの完了時の前に生ずる、請求項1に記載のマシン・コントロール可能な方法。
- 前記即時QoS仕様を決定するステップは、前記バッチ・ジョブの進捗が所定量よりも遅いという決定に応答して、データ・センタ・リソース予約Sを大きくすることを含む、請求項1に記載のマシン・コントロール可能な方法。
