Description
Claims (20)
- 手元端、遠位端、及びそれらの間に延びる少なくとも1つの管腔を規定する棒状本体を有すると共に、表面にマークを有するカテーテルと、
前記カテーテルの前記管腔内に受け入れられ、患者の脈管を通して前記カテーテルを案内する際に使用されて、前記脈管内にカテーテルを位置付けするように構成されたガイドワイヤーとを備え、このガイドワイヤーは、
手元端と遠位端の間に延びる棒状本体と、
前記ガイドワイヤーの前記本体上に配設され、各々が前記ガイドワイヤーの前記手元端及び遠位端の一方に関する距離を示している複数の深さマークであって、前記ガイドワイヤーの前記遠位端から前記手元端に延び、挿入部位から所望の位置への距離を容易に確かめられるように構成された、前記カテーテルのマークに対応する深さマークと、
前記ガイドワイヤーの遠位領域に配設される少なくとも1つの磁気素子であって、前記患者の外部に配設された磁気検出機器を使用して、前記ガイドワイヤーの前記遠位部が追跡されるように構成された磁気素子と、
前記患者の前記脈管を通して前記ガイドワイヤーが進むのを容易にするように構成された前記遠位端の変形遠位チップ端を更に備える、ことを特徴とするカテーテルアセンブリ。 - 前記深さマークは、前記遠位端の方から順に増加する数値目盛りであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記深さマークは、前記手元端の方から順に増加する数値目盛りであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ガイドワイヤーが前記患者に挿入されたとき、前記深さマークにより、前記ガイドワイヤーの前記遠位端と挿入部位との間の距離が判定できることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ガイドワイヤーの前記遠位端が、前記患者の前記脈管内の所望の位置に位置付けされたときに、前記ガイドワイヤーの前記遠位端と前記挿入部位との間の距離が判定されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ガイドワイヤーの前記遠位端と前記挿入部位との間の判定距離により、前記患者の前記脈管内に挿入される前に、カテーテルを切り落とすことができることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ガイドワイヤーは、その挿入の間、前記カテーテルの管腔に受け入れられるように構成され、前記カテーテルの遠位端が前記所望の位置に位置付けされると、前記患者から取り除かれるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ガイドワイヤーは、その遠位領域が、ECGベースの機器を使用して、前記患者の前記脈管内で追跡可能であるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記変形遠位チップ端は、伸展性遠位チップ端であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ガイドワイヤーの手元領域に方向付け機構を更に備え、その方向付けにより前記変形遠位チップ端の方向が判定できることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記深さマークは、前記ガイドワイヤー本体にエッチング処理で付されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記深さマークは、放射線映像的に観察可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ガイドワイヤーの手元領域に配設され、前記変形チップ端の向きに対応した方向付け機構を更に備え、それにより前記カテーテルアセンブリの位置付け者は、前記患者の前記脈管内の前記変形チップ端の向きを判定できることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記方向付け機構は、前記ガイドワイヤーの前記手元領域の一部に沿って長手方向に延びた切欠け部を有することを特徴とする請求項13に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記方向付け機構は、凸、平坦、及び凹のいずれかの断面形状を有することを特徴とする請求項13に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記深さマークは、前記遠位端の方から順に増加するセンチメーター値で目盛られていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記カテーテルは、前記ガイドワイヤーの前記遠位端が、前記患者の前記脈管内の所望の位置に位置付けされたときに、前記患者の前記脈管内における位置付けのために前記ガイドワイヤーを覆って摺動するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記変形チップ端は、伸展性があり、予め曲げられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記カテーテルを前記ガイドワイヤーに解放可能に固定する固定機器を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記固定機器は、前記カテーテルの手元端に取り付けられたハブの手前に設けられているTouhy-Borstアダプターであることを特徴とする請求項19に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
