Description
、球状の頭部が最初に多軸に配置される、溝を設けた内部室を含む、先細になった下部を有する。この連結要素はさらに、頭部を受ける凹部を備える。それに加えて、連結要素の下部を包囲する固定用リングと、連結要素に嵌められる円筒状のロッド固定用スリーブとが設けられている。ロッド固定用スリーブに押圧力をかけるために、上部固定ナットが用いられている。頭部は、ロッド固定用スリーブにより押圧される固定用リングによって内部室に固定されている。
本体5の頭部受け部16の周りに、凹部12の位置に突起21が位置するように配設される。これによって、凹部12内に突き出す突起21は、ロッド6が挿入されていないときに固定用リング8が回転することを防止する。
態において、固定用リング8′は、開放端17の近傍において頭部受け部16の先細になった外側表面部に接触している。矢印の長さによって示すように、締め付け力は、位置P2ではなく開放端17近傍において最大となる。図18に示す状態において、固定用リング8′の最大直径を有する位置P2の上の頭部受け部16の、先細になった外側表面部を接触し、それによっても、最大直径を有する位置に向かって力は減少する。図19に示す状態において、頭部受け部16および固定用リング8′の先細になった表面は互いに平行になっており、その結果、押圧力分布は均一になっている。
曲内側表面8aの上部における、突き出した上端縁31を有する溝と協働する。突出部を形成する外側表面30aおよび固定用リング80の上端縁31は弾性のある係合が可能であり、それにより、固定用リングをその第1端部P1に仮固定し、ロッドに押圧力を加えることにより取り外すことができる。
Claims (15)
- 骨固定要素にロッドを連結するためにロッドを受ける受け部であって、
第1端(9a)および第2端(9b)を有するとともに、ロッドを受けるための溝(12)を有するロッド受け部(9)、ならびに、球の部分の形状を有する骨固定要素の頭部(3)を収容するための頭部受け部(16)を有する受け部本体(5)と、
前記頭部受け部(16)を包囲する固定用リング(8,80)とを含み、
前記頭部受け部(16)は、開放端(17)を有するとともに、前記頭部の挿入および締め付けを可能にするように可撓性を有し、かつ、前記頭部(3)の最大の直径の部分を取り囲む領域において、前記第2端(9b)に向かって先細になった部分を有する外側表面を有し、
前記固定用リングは、前記頭部を締め付けるように前記頭部受け部(16)の外側表面の前記先細になった部分に対して押圧する、湾曲部(8a)を含む内側表面を有し、
前記固定用リングの前記湾曲部(8a)が、前記固定用リング(8,80)の中心に向かって凸状に湾曲しており、
前記固定用リング(8,80)が前記頭部受け部に対して作用する押圧力分布が、頭部(3)の直径が最大の位置において最大となる、受け部。 - 固定用リング(8,80)の高さが頭部受け部(16)の高さよりも小さい、請求項1に記載の受け部。
- 前記固定用リング(8,80)が、前記頭部(3)の回動を許容するように前記頭部受け部が押し付けられない第1位置(P1)と、前記頭部が固定されるように締め付けられる第2位置(P2)との間を移動可能である、請求項1または2に記載の受け部。
- 固定用リング(80)が前記第1位置に取り外し可能に保持される、請求項3に記載の受け部。
- 前記固定用リング(8,80)が、ロッドを介して押圧されるときに移動可能である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の受け部。
- 前記頭部(3)が湾曲した外部表面部分を有し、前記固定用リング(8,80)の湾曲部(8a)の半径が前記頭部(3)の前記湾曲した外部表面部分の半径よりも小さい、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の受け部。
- 前記ロッド受け部(9)が、前記第1端から前記第2端の方向に延びてロッドのための溝を形成する凹部(12)を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の受け部。
- 前記頭部受け部(16)は前記第2端(9b)の側に配置され、前記第2端(9b)側の前記頭部受け部(16)の直径が、前記第1端(9a)側の前記ロッド受け部(9)の直径よりも小さい、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の受け部。
- 前記固定用リング(8,80)が、前記頭部が締め付け固定されないときに前記ロッド(6)を受ける前記溝の中に突き出す、互いに180°をなす位置に対向して配された2つの突起(21)を備える、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の受け部。
- 前記頭部受け部(16)の前記開放端(17)に開口する複数のスリット(19,20)を備える、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の受け部。
- 前記ロッド受け部(9)が、前記第1端(9a)から所定距離の位置から前記第2端(9b)まで延びる複数のスリット(15)を備える、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の受け部。
- 前記受け部本体(5)が、前記頭部受け部(16)の前記開放端(17)から前記ロッド受け部(9)に延びる、少なくとも1つの連続するスリット(15,19)を備える、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の受け部。
- 前記頭部受け部(16)が、前記固定用リングにより押し付け可能である、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の受け部。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の受け部と、頭部(3)およびねじを切られたシャフトを有する骨固定要素(1)とを備える、骨固定装置。
- 前記溝(12)を形成する凹部内に前記ロッド(6)を固定するための、内部ねじからなる遮蔽要素(7)が設けられた、請求項14に記載の骨固定装置。
