Description
The present invention relates to a power supply device having a substrate in a case provided with a cooling unit.
Conventionally, an example of a technology related to a switching power supply for the purpose of providing a water-cooled switching power supply with a reduced size has been disclosed (see, for example, Patent Document 1). This switching power supply includes at least one of a switching element (16a) and a rectifying element (diode 20a) mounted on a pedestal portion (30) in which a refrigerant flow path (water channel 38) through which a refrigerant flows is formed. (18) is mounted in the vicinity of the pedestal portion (30), and the choke coil (22A) is mounted in the remaining region other than the pedestal portion (30) (see FIG. 6 of Patent Document 1). Among these elements, the choke coil (22A) constituting the smoothing circuit is disposed close to the switching element (16a) and the rectifying element (diode 20a) which are semiconductor elements (see FIG. 1 of
In the case of applying the technique of
The coolant channel (water channel 38) formed inside the pedestal portion (30) includes a channel side wall (fin 34) standing on the back side of the pedestal portion (30) and a cover for closing the opening. The pedestal (30) occupies about half of the entire switching power supply. Therefore, there is a problem that the whole physique of the switching power supply has to be large.
The present invention has been made in view of such a point, and a first object is to provide a power supply device capable of suppressing noise from being superimposed on an output voltage. The second object is to provide a power supply apparatus that keeps the overall size of the apparatus small.
The invention according to
According to this configuration, the filter unit secures the arrangement distance by interposing the transformer with the second semiconductor element, and noise generated by the operation of the first semiconductor element as well as the second semiconductor element is generated. Superposition can be suppressed. That is, it is a principle that suppresses the influence of noise by disposing the filter unit at a position as far as possible from the noise generation source in the case. Moreover, cooling can be efficiently performed by bringing the first semiconductor element and the second semiconductor element into direct or indirect contact with the cooling unit, or by arranging them in the vicinity of the cooling unit.
In addition, the “winding window surface of the core” means a part of a portion (winding accommodating portion) that accommodates the winding in the core and an opening surface from which the winding is exposed. There is a possibility that a magnetic flux is generated in the core due to the current flowing in the winding (coil) of the transformer, a part of the generated magnetic flux leaks from the winding window surface, and noise due to the leakage magnetic flux is superimposed on the output power through the filter part and wiring. is there. According to this configuration, since the winding window surface of the core is provided in a direction different from the direction along the series-arranged component group, it is possible to suppress the noise due to the leakage magnetic flux from being superimposed on the output power.
The “first semiconductor element” and the “second semiconductor element” may be the same type of semiconductor element or different types of semiconductor elements. These semiconductor elements are optional as long as they are electronic parts made of semiconductors or elements at the functional center that is the basis of electronic parts. For example, switching elements (including FETs, IGBTs, GTOs, power transistors, and the like), rectifying elements (including rectifier circuits and rectifiers), and the like are applicable. The “case” is optional as long as it can accommodate a substrate, a cooling unit, and the like. For example, it may be a single case, or may be a case consisting of a single space covering a block body in which a plurality of spaces are formed by a partition portion (for example, a partition wall or a partition surface). The “substrate” is arbitrary as long as it is a plate-like member on which at least a semiconductor element can be mounted, and the number of layers (single layer, multilayer, etc.) does not matter. Any device or component can be applied to the “cooling section” as long as the mounted product can be cooled. For example, one or more of the parts, parts, and devices having passages through which refrigerant (fluid such as air, water, and oil) flows, cooling fins (radiation fins), heat pumps, and the like are applicable. The “connection line” corresponds to, for example, wiring on a printed board (so-called wiring pattern), electric wire, or the like. For example, a cable or a cord is used as the electric wire, but it is desirable to use a shielded wire in order to suppress or prevent the influence of noise. The “filter unit” is optional as long as it has a function of reducing or removing the AC component of the output power, regardless of the type of passive filter (eg, LC circuit, RLC circuit, RC circuit, etc.) or active filter. .
According to a second aspect of the present invention, a main circuit mounted product with high heat generation and a control circuit mounted product with low heat generation are mounted on the substrate, and the main circuit mounted product is disposed in the vicinity of the cooling unit. It is characterized by arranging. According to this configuration, the mounted product with high exothermicity is disposed in the vicinity of the cooling unit, so that the cooling effect of the mounted product with high exothermic property can be enhanced. The “main circuit mounted product” corresponds to, for example, a capacitor or a coil (including a choke coil) incorporated in an input side (primary side) circuit. “Control circuit mounted product” corresponds to, for example, an IC or a surface mounted product.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, the substrate is disposed in parallel with the series-arranged component group in the case, and one or both of the first semiconductor element and the second semiconductor element are the It is disposed in direct or indirect contact with the cooling unit, or is disposed in the vicinity of the cooling unit. According to this configuration, the board and the series-arranged component group are arranged in parallel. Further, the first semiconductor element and the second semiconductor element are disposed in direct or indirect contact with the cooling unit, or are disposed in the vicinity of the cooling unit (within a range in which a cooling effect is obtained). In other words, the first semiconductor element and the second semiconductor element are arranged so as to be arranged on one side of the case. With these arrangements, the filter unit can suppress noise (regardless of whether noise is caused by a semiconductor element such as the first semiconductor element or the second semiconductor element) from being superimposed on the output power. Moreover, since the second semiconductor element is actively cooled, it can be stably operated.
The invention according to claim 4 is characterized in that the case has a long side portion and a short side portion, and the second semiconductor element is arranged on the short side portion side. According to this configuration, the cooling part is provided in the case on the short side where the second semiconductor element is disposed. In the technique of
The invention according to claim 5 is characterized in that the secondary terminal of the transformer is drawn out in a direction along the series-arranged component group and electrically connected to the filter unit. According to this configuration, since the secondary terminal of the transformer and the filter unit are electrically connected in the direction along the series-arranged component group, the wiring distance can be minimized. Therefore, power loss due to wiring can be reduced, and the size of the case (and thus the power supply device) itself can be kept small.
The invention according to claim 6 has a shield part that shields part or all of the filter part, and the shield part is provided between the transformer and the filter part, and between the substrate and the filter part. It is arrange | positioned in one or both among. According to this configuration, since the shield portion reduces or blocks the influence of noise, it is possible to more reliably suppress the noise from being superimposed on the output power. “Noise” includes, for example, radiation noise due to switching of a semiconductor element, noise due to electric field or magnetism due to leakage flux of a transformer, and the like. As long as the “shield part” is an electromagnetic shield that can reduce or block the influence of noise, the shape, thickness, material (material), etc. are arbitrary. For example, a metal plate (including a sheet metal), a metal mesh, and the like are applicable. Alternatively, the resin member formed into a predetermined shape (for example, a plate shape or a housing shape) may be plated with metal ink or a similar material on the front or back surface of the resin member. Note that when a through hole is formed in a part of the shield part in order to pass a connection line for electrical connection with the filter part, it is desirable to shield the gap between the through hole and the connection line as well.
The invention according to claim 7 is characterized in that a part of the case constitutes a part of the shield part. According to this configuration, by making a part of the case (wall portion, floor portion, etc.) integral with the shield portion, the entire space surrounding the filter portion can be protected from noise. Since the shield part further reduces or blocks the influence of noise due to semiconductor elements, leakage magnetic flux, and the like, it is possible to more reliably suppress the noise from being superimposed on the output power.
The invention according to claim 8 is characterized in that the second semiconductor element which is one of the series-arranged component groups is a rectifying element electrically connected to the secondary side of the transformer. According to this configuration, since the rectifying element is cooled by the cooling unit, the rectifying action can be stably and reliably performed. Further, even when noise is generated with the operation of the rectifying element, the filter unit is arranged at a distant position, so that it is possible to suppress the noise from being superimposed on the output power.
Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Unless otherwise specified, “connect” means electrical connection. Each figure shows elements necessary for explaining the present invention, and does not show all actual elements. When referring to directions such as up, down, left and right, the description in the drawings is used as a reference. The continuous code is described using the symbol “˜”. For example, “connection terminals T1 to T6” mean “connection terminals T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6”. “Noise” is not limited to noise associated with the operation of the first semiconductor element, the second semiconductor element, and the like, but includes external noise.
First, a configuration example of the power supply device will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 3 is a plan view schematically showing an example of elements housed in the case.
The
The

The

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a series-arranged component group (that is, a rectifying
The
In FIG. 3, the series-arranged component group (

The semiconductor elements Q1 and Q2 of this example are connected in series.

According to the embodiment described above, the following effects can be obtained. First, corresponding to claim 1, in the
Corresponding to claim 2, on the printed circuit board 12 (substrate), a main circuit mounted product with high heat generation (choke coil Lin, capacitor C1, etc.) and a control circuit mounted product with low heat generation (IC, surface mounted product, etc.) And the main circuit mounted product is arranged in the vicinity of the cooling unit 14 (see FIGS. 1 to 3). According to this configuration, the highly heat-generating choke coil Lin, the capacitor C1, and the like can be reliably cooled.

Corresponding to claim 1 , the winding window surface (window surfaces W1, W2, W3) of the core configured in the

Corresponding to claim 7 , a part of
Corresponding to claim 8 , the second semiconductor element, which is one of the series-arranged component groups, is configured to be a rectifying
