Description
The present invention relates to an arc welding method using a stitch pulse welding method.
FIG. 5 shows an example of a conventional arc welding apparatus. An example of the use of the arc welding apparatus X shown in FIG. The stitch pulse welding method is a welding method that can easily suppress the thermal influence on the base material W by controlling heat input and cooling during welding. When this stitch pulse welding method is used, it is said that the welding appearance can be improved and the amount of welding distortion can be reduced as compared with conventional thin plate welding (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
An arc welding apparatus X shown in FIG. 5 includes a
For example, in the stitch pulse welding method proposed by
Moreover, in the method shown in FIG. 6, abnormality determination is always performed during welding. Specifically, it is determined that the arc is interrupted when the welding current is smaller than a predetermined value or the welding voltage is larger than a predetermined value. When the arc break is detected, the welding operation is stopped.
When such an arc break is detected automatically rather than visually, a certain detection time is provided to prevent erroneous detection. That is, when the time when the current is below the preset value or the time when the voltage value is above the preset value is detected, and the detection time is longer than the preset reference time It is determined that the arc is interrupted, and a signal for stopping the operation is sent to the
For example, as shown in FIG. 6, when an arc break occurs at a time t1 that is a relatively latter half of the period T1, the end of the reference time described above may be included in the period T2. If the arc interruption continues during the period T2, the arc interruption abnormality condition is satisfied at time t2, and the welding is terminated. However, in the period T1 in which the arc break has occurred, only welding in one period of the second half period is abnormal. That is, there is a high possibility that welding satisfying a desired state is completed for the entire period T1, sufficient welding strength can be ensured, and the weld appearance is relatively good. Even in such a case, depending on the abnormality determination shown in FIG. 6, there is a problem that the welding is terminated at time t2.
The present invention has been conceived under the circumstances described above, and an object of the present invention is to provide an arc welding method capable of more appropriately detecting an arc break.
The arc welding method provided by the present invention includes a first step of transferring a droplet by generating an arc between a base material and a consumable electrode held by a welding torch, the base material, the consumable electrode, An arc welding method for cooling the molten pool formed in the base material while generating an arc during the period and repeating the second step of moving the welding torch alternately, in the first step, When the absolute value of the voltage between the base material and the consumable electrode or the absolute value of the current flowing between them deviates from a preset range, measurement of the arc break detection time is started, and the second step When the arc break detection time is equal to or longer than a predetermined reference time before the transition to, welding abnormality is determined.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the reference time is set by multiplying the unit time of the first step by a time ratio α (0% <α <100%).
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the reference time ratio α is set in the range of 40% to 60%.
In a more preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first step includes a step of comparing the arc break detection time and the reference time, and a step of measuring the elapsed time of the first step. Only when the elapsed time of the first step is less than a predetermined time, the step of comparing the arc break detection time with the reference time is performed.
In the arc welding method according to the present invention, the arc breakage detection time is measured in the first step of forming the molten pool, so that the process shifts to the second step during the measurement of the arc breakage detection time and appropriate abnormality determination is made. It is possible to avoid the problem that cannot be done. Furthermore, by calculating the reference time for judging an abnormality as a ratio to the time for performing the first step, it is possible to cope with the case where the time for performing the first step is changed. ing.

Next, the arc welding method in the present invention will be described. This arc welding method is performed using the welding system A.
FIG. 3 shows a flowchart of a stitch pulse welding method using the welding system A. FIG. 4 shows a change state of the welding condition value that defines the welding operation in the welding system A. Specifically, FIG. 4A shows a change state of the robot moving speed VR, FIG. 4B shows a change state of the feeding speed Fv of the

First, a transition welding start process is performed by inputting a welding start signal St (see FIG. 2) from the teach pendant TP. In the welding start process, the
Next, the pulse output time Tpls and the reference time Tstp are set (S1). In the present embodiment, this setting is the start of the first step (T1). The pulse output time Tpls and the reference time Tstp are set as values indicating the number of sampling times Ts corresponding to one pulse of the welding current Iw in the first step (T1). Specifically, the pulse output time Tpls is set as an integer part of a value obtained by dividing the pulse output time set through the teach pendant TP by the sampling time Ts. These processes are performed in, for example, the
Next, the arc break detection time Tao is set to 0, and the pulse output elapsed time Tp is set to 0 (S2). The arc break detection time Tao is a value managed in the arc stop
After these settings are completed, pulse output is started (S3). Then, after the sampling time Ts has elapsed (S4), the following processing is performed.
The arc stop
When the welding current Iw is not 0 during the sampling time Ts (S5 = no), the arc stop
When the welding current Iw is 0 during the sampling time Ts (S5 = yes), the arc stop
When the value of the arc break detection time Tao is set to 0 (S6) and when the value of the arc break detection time Tao does not exceed the reference time Tstp (S8 = no), the
When the value of the pulse output elapsed time Tp is equal to or longer than the pulse output time Tpls (S11 = yes), it is determined whether or not the welding is finished (S12). The end timing of welding is determined, for example, by being instructed from the teach pendant TP. When an instruction to end welding is given (S12 = yes), the
If the value of the pulse output elapsed time Tp is less than the pulse output time Tpls (S11 = no), the pulse current output is continued and the process returns to the step of waiting for the sampling time (S4).
The right part of FIG. 4 shows the change state of each welding condition value when an arc break occurs. According to FIG. 4, pulse output is started at time t1, and arc interruption has occurred at time t2. Time t3 is a time at which the value of the arc break detection time Tao becomes equal to the reference time Tstp. According to the above arc welding method, the
According to such an arc welding method, when the value of the arc break detection time Tao becomes equal to or greater than the reference time Tstp during the first step (T1), the welding operation is stopped, and the value of the arc break detection time Tao becomes the reference time. If it is less than Tstp, the welding operation is continued. Furthermore, since the reference time Tstp is determined by multiplying the pulse output time Tpls by the reference time ratio α, the time during which the arc break has occurred is 40% to 60% of the time during which the first step (T1) is scheduled to be performed. When% is reached, an abnormality is always detected. Therefore, according to such an arc welding method, the time corresponding to a certain ratio of the scheduled time for performing the first step (T1) will surely proceed in a state where the arc is generated. Can be prevented from being largely lost.
According to the arc welding method described above, the reference time Tstp is a value corresponding to 40% to 60% of the set pulse output time Tpls. For this reason, when the arc break starts at the initial stage of the first step (T1), the arc abnormality signal Ea is transmitted and the welding operation is interrupted before the first step (T1) ends. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a weld bead having a poor appearance from being transferred to the next welding position with insufficient formation of the weld pool. Furthermore, the welding operation can be smoothly advanced by resuming the welding operation without moving the welding position after solving the problem.
According to the arc welding method of the present embodiment, when the arc break starts just before the end of the first step (T1), the value of the pulse output elapsed time Tp is set to the pulse output time before the arc abnormality signal Ea is transmitted. It becomes Tpls or more (S11 = yes). For this reason, the second step (T2) is started without interruption of the welding operation. In the case where the arc break starts just before the end of the first step (T1), it is considered that the weld pool itself is sufficiently formed before the arc break occurs, and it does not lead to poor welding. Therefore, unnecessary welding stop can be avoided. Similarly, it is not necessary to stop welding when the arc a is restarted before the value of the arc break detection time Tao exceeds the reference time Tstp. Also in this case, unnecessary welding stop can be avoided in this embodiment.
In the above embodiment, the pulse output time Tpls and the reference time Tstp are set (S1) at the start of the first step (T1). However, the pulse output time and the reference time set by the start of welding and the teach pendant TP are set. These settings may be performed only when the ratio α is changed.
In the present embodiment, when the
Moreover, you may make it monitor the value of the direct current in a 2nd process (T2) as needed. In this case, the arc stop
The scope of the present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above. The specific configuration of each part of the welding system used in the present invention can be varied in design in various ways, and the details of the arc welding method according to the present invention can be changed as appropriate. For example, in the above embodiment, the arc stop
For example, in the above embodiment, the arc stop
Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the welding current Iw in a 1st process (T1) is an alternating current pulse current, it may be a direct current pulse current.
