Description
特許文献12には、トンネラ器具及びこれとともに使用する管状体を有する、カテーテルの皮下トンネル作製用のカテーテルトンネラ構成が開示されており、該構成において、管状体は、基端及び先端にハンドグリップを備え、先端には選択された先端チップを取付可能である。この管状体は、長尺状をなしており、カテーテル基端上の取付具が皮下トンネルを通過できるほど小さい場合には該取付具も含めて、カテーテル全体をその内部に収容するものとして開示されている。トンネル作製用先端チップは、管状体の先端に取り付け可能かつ取り外し可能であり、所望される場合には、他の先端チップを取り付けることも許容する。
Claims (11)
- 先導端(104、204、304)及び後続端(106、206)を有する長尺状円筒ケース(102、202、302)と、該ケースの先導端(104、204、304)内へ延びる連結セクション(114、214、314)を備えることにより、該ケースの先導端(104、204、304)において該ケース(102、202、302)に対して取り外し可能に取り付けられ、かつ、そこから延びるトンネラ(110、210、310)とを備え、該トンネラは、鈍端を有する非外傷性先導チップ(112、212、312)と、先導チップからケースの先導端(104、204、304)に向かって延びる長尺状傾斜表面(116、216、316)とを有する、脈管用カテーテル(12)の皮下トンネル作製のためのトンネル作製装置(100、200、300)において、
前記ケース(102、202、302)が、可撓性を有する材料から形成されることと、
前記ケース(102、202、302)の後続端(106、206)が、脈管用カテーテル(12)の一端部(18)を挿入可能に受け入れるように開放されており、前記カテーテルが前記ケース(102、202、302)への挿入後に該ケースから基端方向に延びるように、前記ケースがカテーテルの長さの20%〜33%の長さを有することと、
前記カテーテルが前記ケース内に自留可能ではあるがケース内を通過可能なように、ケースの内径がカテーテルの外径よりもわずかに大きく形成され、したがって、ケースはカテーテルを機械的に接続するための構成を備えていないこととを特徴とするトンネル作製装置(100、200、300)。 - 前記連結セクション(114,214,314)が、前記ケースの内径よりもわずかに大きな外径を有し、圧力嵌めによってケースの先導端(104、204、304)内に保持される、請求項1に記載のトンネル作製装置(100、200、300)。
- 前記トンネラ(110、210、310)が連結セクション(114,214,314)を通って、前記傾斜表面(116、216、316)から遠く離れているとともに前記先導チップ(112、212、312)から離間した側面開口(324)まで延びる通路(326)を備える、請求項1に記載のトンネル作製装置(100、200、300)。
- U字形状をなすように形成される、請求項1に記載のトンネル作製装置(100、200、300)。
- 少なくとも10cmの長さを有する、請求項1に記載のトンネル作製装置(100、200、300)。
- 少なくとも15cmの長さを有する、請求項1に記載のトンネル作製装置(100、200、300)。
- カテーテルアセンブリ(10)と、該カテーテルアセンブリのカテーテル(12)の皮下トンネル作製用のトンネル作製装置(100、200、300)とからなるアセンブリであって、
請求項1に記載のトンネル作成装置(100、200、300)と、
カテーテル後続端に向かって延びるカテーテル先導端(18)を備えたカテーテル(12)を有するカテーテルアセンブリ(10)とを備え、
前記カテーテル(12)は、カテーテル先導端(18)が前記トンネラに隣接し、かつ、カテーテル後続端が前記ケース(102、202、302)の後続端から外方に延びるように、前記ケース(102、202、302)内に配置され、前記ケースの内径は、前記カテーテルが前記ケース(102、202、302)内で軽度の摩擦嵌めによって保持されることにより、前記カテーテル先導端(18)がトンネラ(110、210、310)によるトンネル作製中に前記ケース内に留まるように選択され、その後、前記トンネル作成装置(100、200、300)及びカテーテル(12)はトンネル内で引っ張られ、前記カテーテル先導端(18)において前記カテーテルから取り外し可能である、アセンブリ。 - 前記連結セクション(114,214,314)が、前記ケースの内径よりもわずかに大きな外径を有し、前記ケースの先導端(104、204、304)内で圧力嵌めによって保持される、請求項7に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記トンネラが前記連結セクション(114,214,314)を通って、前記傾斜表面(116、216、316)から遠く離れているとともに前記先導チップ(112、212、312)から離間した側面開口(324)まで延びる通路(326)を備える、請求項7に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記トンネル作製装置(100、200、300)が少なくとも10cmの長さを有する、請求項7に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記トンネル作製装置(100、200、300)が少なくとも15cmの長さを有する、請求項7に記載のアセンブリ。
