Claims (6)
- 主磁極と、
高周波磁界を発生させる磁界創生層と、
前記磁界創生層にスピントルクを供給する固定層とを有し、
前記固定層への外部印加磁界をH ext 、前記固定層の磁気異方性磁界をH k 、前記固定層の膜面の垂直方向の実効反磁界をH d−eff としたとき、
H ext −H k +H d−eff >0、かつ、H ext +H k −H d−eff >0
を満たし、
前記固定層は、積層方向に柱状のグラニュラー構造を有することを特徴とする磁気記録ヘッド。 - 主磁極と、
高周波磁界を発生させる磁界創生層と、
前記磁界創生層にスピントルクを供給する固定層とを有し、
前記固定層への外部印加磁界をH ext 、前記固定層の磁気異方性磁界をH k 、前記固定層の膜面の垂直方向の実効反磁界をH d−eff としたとき、
H ext −H k +H d−eff >0、かつ、H ext +H k −H d−eff >0
を満たし、
前記固定層と前記主磁極との間には、第1の磁束整流層が設けられ、
前記固定層に対して前記主磁極側とは反対側に、第2の磁束整流層が設けられ、
ABS面における前記第2の磁束整流層のクロストラック方向の幅は、前記第1の磁束整流層のクロストラック方向の幅よりも小さいことを特徴とする磁気記録ヘッド。 - 主磁極と、
高周波磁界を発生させる磁界創生層と、
前記磁界創生層にスピントルクを供給する固定層とを有し、
前記固定層への外部印加磁界をH ext 、前記固定層の磁気異方性磁界をH k 、前記固定層の膜面の垂直方向の実効反磁界をH d−eff としたとき、
H ext −H k +H d−eff >0、かつ、H ext +H k −H d−eff >0
を満たし、
前記固定層は、高磁気異方性領域と磁化反転起動領域とに分割されて形成されていることを特徴とする磁気記録ヘッド。 - 前記磁化反転起動領域は、前記高磁気異方性領域に対して、ヘッドの進行方向から見て、はみ出した領域があることを特徴とする請求項3記載の磁気記録ヘッド。
- 主磁極と、
高周波磁界を発生させる磁界創生層と、
前記磁界創生層にスピントルクを供給する(Co/Ni)多層膜からなる固定層とを有し、
前記(Co/Ni)多層膜におけるCo層の合計膜厚は、Ni層の合計膜厚以上であることを特徴とする磁気記録ヘッド。 - 主磁極と、
高周波磁界を発生させる磁界創生層と、
前記磁界創生層にスピントルクを供給する(Co/Ni)多層膜からなる固定層とを有し、
前記固定層は、第1の領域と第2の領域とに分割されて形成され
前記第1の領域では、Co層の合計膜厚はNi層の合計膜厚より厚く、
前記第2の領域では、Co層の合計膜厚はNi層の合計膜厚より薄いことを特徴とする磁気記録ヘッド。
