Claims (19)
- マイクロ流体デバイスであって、
第1の膜および第2の膜の積層物を含み、1つのまたは各々の膜は、前記膜が合わせてその間の流体封じ込めのための密閉された反応体積を画定するように一体的に熱成形された構造を含み、前記一体的に熱成形された構造は、電気泳動容器を含み、
各々の膜自体は、比較的高い軟化温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料、およびそれに対して比較的低い溶融温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料の同時押出膜を含み、各々の膜の前記比較的低い溶融温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料は、前記第1の膜と前記第2の膜とを一緒に貼り付けるように一緒に溶け、
前記第1の膜および前記第2の膜の前記比較的低い溶融温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料は、同じ材料であり、
前記第1の膜および前記第2の膜のうち1つまたは両方がエラストマー層を含み、
前記第1の膜または前記第2の膜は、前記反応体積内の流体と動作接続されるように配置された外部にエネルギー供給可能な電極を含み、
全ての層の溶融温度は、PCR熱サイクル反応プロセスに使用される高温条件に耐えることができ、前記比較的高い軟化温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料の層は、前記高温条件下で堅いままであることを特徴とする、マイクロ流体デバイス。 - 前記第1の膜および/または前記第2の膜の比較的高い軟化温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料は、10〜50℃の温度で堅いままである、請求項1に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記第1の膜および/または前記第2の膜は、光学的に透明な材料を含む、請求項1または2のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記第1の膜および/または前記第2の膜の前記比較的低い溶融温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料は、生体適合性の、生理学的に不活性な材料を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記第1の膜および/または前記第2の膜の前記比較的低い溶融温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料は、一体的に形成された前記反応体積の内面の少なくとも一部を覆う、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記第1の膜および/または前記第2の膜の前記比較的低い溶融温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料は、一体的に形成された前記反応体積の前記内面全体を覆う、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記第1の膜および前記第2の膜の前記比較的低い溶融温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料は、異なる材料を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 反応混合物収容器をさらに含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記第1の膜および/または前記第2の膜の前記比較的高い軟化温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料の上に配置された構造層をさらに含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記構造層は、前記比較的高い軟化温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料より高い軟化温度を有する材料を含む、請求項9に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- ガスバリア層をさらに含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 液体バリア層をさらに含む、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記第1の膜および/または前記第2の膜の前記比較的高い軟化温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料は、環状オレフィンコポリマー、ポリカーボネート、ポリエステル、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリアミド、あるいはそれらの混合物またはコポリマーを含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記第1の膜および/または前記第2の膜の前記比較的低い溶融温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料の層は、ポリエチレンを含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記第1の膜および/または前記第2の膜の前記比較的低い溶融温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料の層は、コロナ処理されたポリエチレンを含む、請求項14に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記エラストマー層は、エラストマーのユニットを形成するために前記比較的低い溶融温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料の層の間に挟まれている、請求項1に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記エラストマーのユニットは、2つの前記同時押出膜の間に挟まれ、前記同時押出膜は、2つの前記比較的低い溶融温度の熱可塑性ポリマー材料の層の間に挟まれたバルク層を含む、請求項16に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記第1の膜および/または前記第2の膜は、前記エラストマー層または前記エラストマーのユニットのいずれかの側面に空隙領域またはチャネルを含む、請求項16または17に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記エラストマー層は、膜を通る流体の流れが制御できるよう、その両側面に変形させられる、請求項1に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
