Description
The present invention relates to a hydrogen cylinder mounting structure for a fuel cell vehicle, and more particularly to a hydrogen cylinder mounting structure for a fuel cell motorcycle or a fuel cell tricycle.
Recently, fuel cell vehicles have been developed in which electric power generated by a fuel cell system is supplied to a motor and wheels are driven by this motor. In this fuel cell system, a reaction gas (oxygen) and a fuel gas (hydrogen) are supplied to a fuel cell (fuel cell stack), and an electric power is generated by causing an electrochemical reaction in the fuel cell. Thus, it is used as the driving power of the motor. Usually, the reaction gas is taken in from the air through a compressor or the like, and the fuel gas is supplied from a fuel cylinder (hydrogen cylinder) mounted on the fuel cell vehicle.
Patent Document 1 discloses a fuel cylinder that stores fuel gas such as hydrogen gas, a fuel cell that generates power by receiving supply of fuel gas from the fuel cylinder, and a secondary battery that stores electric power generated by the fuel cell. Is disclosed. Since the fuel cell motorcycle disclosed in Patent Document 1 is a so-called saddle riding type, the step for placing the driver's feet is the same as in a motorcycle using a normal gasoline engine. It is set regardless of the cylinder mounting position. In fact, in the fuel cell vehicle disclosed in Patent Document 1, the fuel cell vehicle, the fuel cylinder, and the secondary battery are arranged and supported in a state of substantially overlapping each other. Centralized arrangement improves assembly and maintenance, and space is used efficiently. In addition, the centralized arrangement of heavy objects concentrates the mass and optimizes load sharing to the front and rear wheels. The technical effect that the motion performance and the handling stability of the vehicle are improved is reported.
However, when the fuel cylinder is mounted on, for example, a scooter type fuel cell motorcycle, it is necessary to provide a footrest place in front of and below the seat on which the driver is seated. If you try to arrange the two, you must consider the positional relationship between the two. In particular, in the case of a scooter equipped with a plurality of fuel cylinders in order to ensure a sufficient traveling distance, it goes without saying that the arrangement positions of the plurality of fuel cylinders and the scooter footrest location must be devised. Yes.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and in a fuel cell vehicle equipped with a plurality of hydrogen cylinders, the travel distance can be extended while ensuring a low center of gravity of the vehicle.
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 6, a
In this case, particularly in the fuel cell two-wheeled
By the way, the temperature of the
Further, the
Therefore, in the present embodiment, a
The
Using the
In the figure,
The fuel cell two-wheeled
When the
When a driver (not shown) operates the steering handle 20 to start the travel of the fuel cell two-wheeled
Therefore, in the present embodiment, the
And the
Of course, during running, the
Further, according to the present embodiment, the length of the
In addition, the
