Description
The present embodiment relates to a drum type washing machine.
Conventionally, the washing machine has a mechanical or electrical problem from the viewpoints of design and durability, and may result in a failure. Further, even if the mechanical or electrical operation part is normal, there is a risk of water leakage due to wear of rubber parts such as packing or resin parts such as covers. Such wear of parts is difficult for the user to notice, and there is a possibility that the use of the washing machine may continue until the user recognizes a failure caused by wear or the like of the parts.
Therefore, for example, in the washing machine described in
By the way, in a drum-type washing machine that elastically supports a water tank by a suspension having a damper that attenuates vibration of the water tank, there has recently been an idea of using a damper having a variable damping force, which includes a functional fluid such as a magnetic fluid. A viscous fluid is used.
A magnetorheological fluid is, for example, a dispersion of ferromagnetic particles such as iron or carbonyl iron in oil. When a magnetic field is applied, the ferromagnetic particles form chain clusters and the viscosity increases. To do.
A damper using such a magnetorheological fluid may also have problems such as a decrease in damping force due to a failure. However, what detects a failure related to this damper has not yet been considered.
Therefore, a drum type washing machine capable of detecting a failure of a suspension having a damper using the above-described magnetorheological fluid is provided.

<First Embodiment>
Hereinafter, the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.
First, FIG. 2 shows the overall structure of a drum-type washing / drying machine (hereinafter referred to as a washing machine). A laundry doorway 2 is provided at a substantially central portion of the front portion (right side in FIG. 2) of the
Inside the
An outer
A
A large number of
A
Here, the detailed structure of the
On the other hand, the
As shown in FIG. 3, a ring-shaped
An
Further, a
In addition, a
Then, the
Further, between the
As described above, the
The
The
The
FIG. 4 is a block diagram showing an electrical configuration centering on the
Various operation signals are input to the
The
Then, the
Next, the operation of the above configuration will be described.
First, when the user turns on a power switch (not shown) of the
In the washing process, a laundry amount detection operation is first performed to detect the amount of laundry contained in the
Subsequently, the
In the weight detection in the washing process and the drying process described above, a predetermined DC voltage is applied to the series circuit of the upper and
In the dehydration process, the
In the initial stage of the dehydration process (when the dehydration process is started and until the rotation of the
Thus, the damping force increases as the frictional resistance increases when the
As described above, the vibration in the dehydration process can be suppressed as much as possible by the damping force of the
Now, the
For example, when the
In the first failure detection process, first, current values flowing in the series circuit of the
That is, the failure mode of the present embodiment performs a washing operation corresponding to the failure of the
Then, the
ここで、下限値IL(例えば0<IL<設定電流値I0)よりも小さいとき、或は上限値IL(例えば設定電流値I0の2倍の値)よりも大きいときは、前記ステップS3へ移行する。
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S2 that the current value is not 0 [A], it is determined whether or not the detected current value is within a range between a predetermined lower limit value IL and an upper limit value IH. (Step S6). Here, when the value is smaller than the lower limit value IL (for example, 0 <IL <set current value I0) or larger than the upper limit value IL (for example, a value twice the set current value I0), the process proceeds to step S3. To do. That is, the
When it is determined in step S6 that the current value as the detected value is within the range between the lower limit value IL and the upper limit value IH, the washing operation in the normal mode is continued as it is (step S7), and the current value described above Unless an abnormality is detected, steps S1, S2, S6, S7, and S8 are repeated until energization of
The first failure detection process is performed when the
Thereafter, prior to the washing operation to be performed (that is, the next washing operation), for example, when the power switch is turned on by the user, the
The
When the
In the failure mode of the present embodiment, all the
The
The failure detection means includes
The
Unlike the present embodiment, during the washing operation, the notification means may notify the failure at the same time, but since the operation can be continued even if a failure occurs as described above, the user interrupts the washing in the middle. There is no need to do. On the other hand, the
The first failure detection process is performed at the time of energizing the
<Other embodiments>
6 and 7 show a second embodiment of the present invention. The same parts as those already described are denoted by the same reference numerals and the description thereof will be omitted, and different points will be described below.
In the washing process, an operation of supplying water into the
That is, in the second failure detection process, in step S11 of FIG. 6, 0.5 [[] [0] is applied to the
The
When the
As described above, the
FIG. 8 shows the third embodiment of the present invention and is a flowchart showing the flow of the third failure detection process.
The third failure detection process is executed at the end of the washing operation, and the
That is, as described above, when the
In this way, the
The drum type washing and drying machine described above is not limited to the embodiment described above and shown in the drawings. For example, the drum type washing machine without a drying function may be used. Alternatively, only the energization of the
