Description

試料弁に対して解放圧力を試験する。解放圧力を、弁を通る気体の漏れまたは流れが最初に観察された圧力として確定する。弁を含むコネクタをマニホルドに取り付ける。マニホルド接続としての弁の反対側においてコネクタをアルコールで満たす。圧力調整器を介してコネクタの管接続に圧力を加える。圧力調節を、0.1psi(6.9×10 2 Pa)で行い、観察下で1分間維持する。
試料を、構成要素の配置力に対する寄与について試験する。試料の第1セットおよび試料の第2セットを試験して、配置力に対する弁の寄与を確定する。試料には、ステムの周囲に外部Oリングシールがなく、適所にラチェットシステムがない。試料の第1セットは、スリットが2つのウェブ構造を有する弁を含む。試料を、スリットを形成する前に385°Fで4時間、後硬化させる。試料の第2セットもまた、スリットが2つのウェブ構造を有する弁を含む。弁の材料は、フルオロシリコーン添加剤を含み、材料を、スリットを形成する前に385°Fで4時間、後硬化させる。
この試験では、28の試料を1つの陰性対照および1つの陽性対照とともに試験する。30の試料を、試験の前に50kGyで放射線照射する。層流フードにおいて、内部アセンブリおよび外部アセンブリの返し付き端部に無菌管部分を追加することにより、無菌試験試料および対照試料を用意する。試験の前に管の開放端部を密封する。
Claims (14)
- 第1コネクタであって、
第1開口部と、内部に流体通路を画定する内腔と、前記内腔の端部に配置された第1封止面とを画定する第1ハウジングと、
前記第1封止面の周囲に配置されたシールと、
前記第1開口部の上に配置された第1弁と、
を備える第1コネクタと、
第2コネクタであって、
内部に流体通路を画定し、末端部に第2封止面を画定するステムと、
前記ステムを包囲しかつ前記第2開口部を画定する第2ハウジングであって、前記第1コネクタの前記第1ハウジングと係合するように構成された第2ハウジングと、
前記第2開口部の上に配置された第2弁であって、前記第2ハウジングが前記第1ハウジングと係合すると前記第1弁と整列するように構成された第2弁と、
を備える第2コネクタと、
を備え、
前記ステムが、前記第1ハウジングおよび前記第2ハウジングに対して、かつ前記第1弁および前記第2弁を通って移動し、前記第1封止面および前記第2封止面が嵌合係合し、
前記第2弁が、前記ステムが前記第1弁および前記第2弁を通って移動する時に、前記ステムの移動の方向において前記第1弁と折り重なるように構成された、コネクタアセンブリ。 - 前記第1弁が前記第2弁に付着する、請求項1に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記第1弁がスリットを含む、請求項1に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記スリットが少なくとも部分的に再接合である、請求項3に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記スリットが、ウェブ構造によって分離された第1スリット部分および第2スリット部分を含む、請求項3に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記ウェブ構造の厚さが、前記第1スリット部分または前記第2スリット部分の長さの1/20〜1/40の範囲である、請求項5に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記第1封止面が前記内腔から径方向外側に面し、前記第2封止面が径方向内側に面する、請求項1および3〜6のいずれか一項に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記ステムが前記内腔内に延在しない、請求項1に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記第1コネクタが、前記内腔および前記流体通路を横切るフィルタをさらに備える、請求項1、3〜6および8のいずれか一項に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 第1コネクタに結合されかつ前記流体通路との流体連通を提供する取付具をさらに備える、請求項1、3〜6および8のいずれか一項に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。

前記第2コネクタが、

前記ステムを包囲しかつ前記第2開口部を画定する第2ハウジングであって、前記第1コネクタの前記第1ハウジングと係合するように構成された第2ハウジングと、
前記第2開口部の上に配置された第2弁であって、前記第2ハウジングが前記第1ハウジングと係合すると前記第1弁と整列するように構成された第2弁と、
を備えるステップと、
前記ステムを押して、前記第1弁および前記第2弁を通過させるステップであって、前記第1弁および前記第2弁が、前記ステムが押される方向において折り重なる、ステップと、
