Claims (4)
- 内燃機関の振動を検出するセンサと、
前記センサの検出信号からノッキング発生時に振動強度のピーク位置となる複数の周波数領域の振動成分を抽出する抽出手段と、
ノッキング以外の要因による振動であるバックグラウンドノイズを算出するバックグラウンドノイズ算出手段と、
抽出した複数の周波数領域から前記バックグラウンドノイズの振動強度に基づいて決定した周波数領域を除いた残りの周波数領域である特定周波数領域の振動強度に基づいてノッキングの有無を判定するノック判定手段と、
を備える内燃機関のノック判定装置において、
前記ノック判定手段は、燃料噴射弁又は可変動弁装置の駆動ノイズが有る場合とない場合で差が無い程度にバックグラウンドノイズが大きくなる運転領域では、前記燃料噴射弁又は前記可変動弁装置の固有周波数を、前記特定周波数領域に含めてノッキングの有無を判定し、その他の運転領域では、燃料噴射弁又は可変動弁装置の固有周波数を前記特定周波数領域に含めずにノッキングの有無を判定することを特徴とする内燃機関のノック判定装置。 - 前記ノック判定手段は、前記特定周波数領域を最も多い場合で前記抽出手段により抽出したすべての周波数領域まで増やすことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関のノック判定装置。
- 前記バックグラウンドノイズ算出手段は、前記バックグラウンドノイズの振動強度に基づいて決定した周波数領域を除去するか否かを前記内燃機関の回転速度及び負荷に基づいて決定して、前記特定周波数領域を決定することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関のノック判定装置。
- 前記ノック判定手段は、燃料噴射弁の駆動ノイズの有無による前記バックグラウンドノイズの振動強度に差がある運転領域で、前記抽出した複数の周波数領域から前記バックグラウンドノイズの振動強度に基づいて決定した周波数領域を取り除くことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関のノック判定装置。
