Description
One embodiment relates to a slip ring device.
For example, an antenna directing device such as a radar device has a vertical slip ring device having a rotation axis extending in the vertical direction. In this type of slip ring device, an electrode ring is provided on the rotating side, a brush is provided on the fixed side, and the brush can slide on the ring outer peripheral surface of the electrode ring. When the rotation-side electrode ring is driven to rotate, the fixed-side brush comes into sliding contact with the outer peripheral surface of the ring, and electrical coupling is performed between the rotation-side and the fixed-side. By incorporating graphite into the brush material, the orientation of the brush is increased, and friction associated with the sliding contact of the brush is reduced.
By the way, since the slip ring which is an electrode ring is arrange | positioned in multiple numbers by the up-down direction, a brush and the outer peripheral surface of a slip ring will slidably contact, and an abrasion powder will arise. The wear powder accumulates on the upper surface of the slip ring below the brush sliding contact portion. When the slip ring rotates, the abrasion powder scatters around the slip ring by the rotational drive. The abrasion powder adheres to the surface of the frame that supports the brush and the inner wall of the cover that covers the slip ring. In electrical coupling, it is difficult to adjust the power with high accuracy, resulting in problems such as electrical noise and poor insulation.
For this reason, the present inventor has already been supported so as to be freely rotatable, and the second rotation in which the slip ring is formed on the outer peripheral wall and the first rotation portion in which the slip ring is formed on the inner peripheral wall. A rotating body disposed coaxially with each other, an insulating plate interposed between the first and second rotating parts of the rotating body and electrically insulating each other, and the rotating body A first brush that is slidably contacted with the slip ring of the first rotating part in conjunction with the rotation, and a second brush that is slidably contacted with the slip ring of the second rotating part in conjunction with the rotation of the rotating body. A slip ring device with a brush was proposed. This slip ring device makes a 1st brush and a ring inner peripheral wall contact, and makes a 2nd brush and a ring outer peripheral wall contact.
However, each electrode ring is supplied with a large current from a DC power supply, and heat is generated by brush sliding contact, which may deteriorate the solid lubricating performance by graphite.
In order to solve such a problem, according to one embodiment, a shaft body that is rotatably supported around an axis extending in the vertical direction, and each of the shaft bodies are stacked and disposed so as to be rotatable through a gap. And a heat radiating member provided radially outward of the shaft body from the outer peripheral wall of the second electrode ring, and the heat radiating member radiates the heat to the second brush. A slip ring device is provided which receives heat from the outer peripheral wall opposite to the surface and dissipates heat.

The
The
The
Of the power source power and signals that can be transmitted by the
The two-stage
The insulating
The two-stage
The material of the
The two
The
In the present embodiment, the
The lower two-stage
The brush 17 (second brush) is in sliding contact with the ring outer peripheral surface of the
In the
As shown in FIGS. 2, 4A, and 4B, the
Each
When the plus wiring for hot and the ground wiring for return are connected between the
Thereafter, the
When the number of rotations accumulates, wear powder is generated on each of the outer peripheral surface side and the inner peripheral surface side. Further, chips of the
The two-stage
The
In general, brush tips such as the
On the other hand, in the
As shown in FIG. 4A, when the
As shown in FIG. 4B, when the
During operation of the
FIG. 5 is a front view of a vertical slip ring device according to a conventional example. The outer ring constituting the
When the silver plating on the outer peripheral surface is melted by the high temperature and the
