Description
〔1〕 親水性化合物と気泡調整剤と物理発泡剤を含む、ポリエチレン系樹脂を主成分とする溶融混練物を押出発泡してなる押出発泡体であって、該親水性化合物の親水親油バランス(HLB値)が11.9〜20であり、該親水性化合物が押出発泡体中に該発泡体を構成しているポリエチレン系樹脂100重量部に対して0.5〜10重量部の割合で添加されており、該発泡体の見掛け密度が10g/L以上100g/L未満であり、独立気泡率が30〜80%であり、押出方向および幅方向の平均気泡径が共に0.2〜0.8mmであることを特徴とするポリエチレン系樹脂押出発泡体。
〔2〕 前記親水性化合物がポリアルキレンオキサイドおよびポリアルキレンオキサイド系界面活性剤から選択される1以上の化合物であることを特徴とする前記〔1〕に記載のポリエチレン系樹脂押出発泡体。
〔3〕 前記親水性化合物が温度20℃で液状であることを特徴とする前記〔1〕又は〔2〕に記載のポリエチレン系樹脂押出発泡体。
〔4〕 前記親水性化合物の数平均分子量が1000以下であることを特徴とする前記〔1〕〜〔3〕のいずれかに記載のポリエチレン系樹脂押出発泡体。
〔5〕 前記親水性化合物がポリエチレンオキサイドであることを特徴とする前記〔3〕又は〔4〕に記載のポリエチレン系樹脂押出発泡体。
本発明のポリオレフィン系樹脂発泡体(以下、単に発泡体ともいう。)は、ポリオレフィン系樹脂を基材樹脂とする発泡体である。
尚、密度が935g/L以下のポリエチレン系樹脂を「主成分」とするとは、該ポリエチレン樹脂の含有量が発泡体の全重量の50重量%以上であることをいう。また、ポリエチレン系樹脂の密度の下限は概ね890g/Lである。

ポリアルキレンオキサイドの中では、入手しやすく、取扱いやすいことから、ポリエチレンオキサイド(ポリエチレングリコール)が好ましい。
本発明における押出発泡シートは、ポリオレフィン系樹脂に気泡調整剤、親水性化合物を配合して押出機内で溶融混練し、該溶融混練物に物理発泡剤を圧入し、混練したのち、押出機出口部に付設された円環状ダイから円筒状に押出発泡し円柱状冷却装置の側面を通過させたのち切り開いてシート状とすることにより製造される。
ここで、上記Tmaxとは、上記テンション荷重曲線において、検出されたピーク(山)値の合計値を検出された個数で除した値であり、上記Tminとは、上記テンション荷重曲線において、検出されたディップ(谷)値の合計値を検出された個数で除した値である。
尚、当然のことながら上記測定において溶融樹脂をオリフィスから紐状に押出す際には該紐状物に、できるだけ気泡が入らないようにする。また、発泡体から測定試料を調整する場合、発泡体を真空オーブンにて加熱し脱泡したものを試料とし、その際の真空オーブンでの脱泡条件は、発泡体の基材樹脂を構成しているポリオレフィン系樹脂の融点以上の温度、かつ減圧下とする。
(1)日本ユニカー株式会社製低密度ポリエチレン「NUC8321」(溶融張力:6.8cN、密度:922g/L、MFR:2.4g/10分)
表1に示すポリエチレン系樹脂と、親水性化合物と、気泡調整剤マスターバッチとを表1に示す配合で押出機に供給し、加熱混練し樹脂溶融物とした。該樹脂溶融物に物理発泡剤として表1に示す量のノルマルブタン70重量%とイソブタン30重量%の混合ブタンを押出機中へ圧入して発泡性樹脂溶融物とし、次いで表1に示す押出樹脂温度に冷却して発泡性溶融樹脂とし、該発泡性溶融樹脂を環状ダイから表1に示す吐出量で押出し、押出された筒状発泡体を冷却されたマンドレルに沿わせて、表1に引き引取速度で取りながら切開いて、押出発泡体を得た。
<洗浄性の評価方法>
平均表面租度0.2μmの鏡面のステンレス板に硬質クロムメッキ処理した鋼板を、発泡シートで挟み、その上から50g/cm2の荷重をかけ、60℃の雰囲気下に48時間放置した。その後、鋼板を純水中に浸漬、洗浄した。洗浄乾燥後、鋼板表面に呼気を吹きかけ汚れ(曇り)具合を目視にて観察し以下の基準にて評価した。
◎:汚れ(曇り)が全くない。
○:汚れ(曇り)が僅かに点在する。
×:汚れ(曇り)が多数存在する。

- 親水性化合物と気泡調整剤と物理発泡剤を含む、ポリエチレン系樹脂を主成分とする溶融混練物を押出発泡してなる押出発泡体であって、該親水性化合物の親水親油バランス(HLB値)が11.9〜20であり、該親水性化合物が押出発泡体中に該発泡体を構成しているポリエチレン系樹脂100重量部に対して0.5〜10重量部の割合で添加されており、該発泡体の見掛け密度が10g/L以上100g/L未満であり、独立気泡率が30〜80%であり、押出方向および幅方向の平均気泡径が共に0.2〜0.8mmであることを特徴とするポリエチレン系樹脂押出発泡体。
- 前記親水性化合物がポリアルキレンオキサイドおよびポリアルキレンオキサイド系界面活性剤から選択される1以上の化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリエチレン系樹脂押出発泡体。
- 前記親水性化合物が温度20℃で液状であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のポリエチレン系樹脂押出発泡体。
- 前記親水性化合物の数平均分子量が1000以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のポリエチレン系樹脂押出発泡体。
- 前記親水性化合物がポリエチレンオキサイドであることを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載のポリエチレン系樹脂押出発泡体。
