Description
しかし、顆粒の酸化銀を用いることによって、上記反応が抑制される上に、上述したように黒鉛の添加量も低減されるので、酸化銀の還元反応が更に抑制される。従って、放電特性(特に、低温重負荷特性)の低下を抑制することができる。
正極活物質として、酸化第一銀(Ag2O)を単独で加圧成形した後、この成形体を粉砕し、篩い分けして、平均粒径150μmおよびかさ密度2.0g/cm3の顆粒状にした酸化第一銀を準備した。この顆粒の酸化銀を93重量%、平均粒径10μm、およびかさ密度0.68g/cm3の粉末状の銀ニッケル複合酸化物(Ag1.05Ni0.95O2)を5重量%、導電助剤として鱗片状黒鉛を2重量%、混合して正極合剤2とした。そして、この正極合剤2を擦り切り秤量装置を用いて100mgずつ秤量し、秤量後、充填密度6g/cm3のペレット状に加圧成形することによって、正極成形体を作製し、これにアルカリ電解液の一部を含浸させた。
正極合剤2として、顆粒の酸化銀89重量%、銀ニッケル複合酸化物10重量%、鱗片状黒鉛1重量%を混合したものを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして酸化銀電池を作製した。
正極合剤2として、顆粒の酸化銀93.5重量%、銀ニッケル複合酸化物2重量%、鱗片状黒鉛3.5重量%を混合したものを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして酸化銀電池を作製した。
正極合剤2として、顆粒の酸化銀95重量%、銀ニッケル複合酸化物1重量%、鱗片状黒鉛4重量%を混合したものを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして酸化銀電池を作製した。
正極合剤2として酸化第一銀を単独で加圧成形したものを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にしてコイン形酸化銀電池を作製した。
正極合剤2として、顆粒の酸化銀84重量%、銀ニッケル複合酸化物15重量%、鱗片状黒鉛1重量%を混合したものを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして酸化銀電池を作製した。
正極合剤2として、顆粒の酸化銀95.5重量%、銀ニッケル複合酸化物0.5重量%、鱗片状黒鉛4重量%を混合したものを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして酸化銀電池を作製した。
○:正極合剤の流動性は若干低下するものの、秤量性に問題はない。
×:正極合剤の流動性が大幅に低下し、秤量性が悪い。
Claims (4)
- 顆粒の酸化銀と、前記酸化銀よりも小さい粒径を有する銀ニッケル複合酸化物と、黒鉛とを含む正極合剤と、
負極合剤と、
前記正極合剤と前記負極合剤との間に配置されたセパレータとを備え、
前記銀ニッケル複合酸化物の重量比率は、前記正極合剤全体に対して1〜10重量%である、偏平形電池。 - 前記銀ニッケル複合酸化物の重量比率は、前記正極合剤全体に対して1〜5重量%である、請求項1に記載の偏平形電池。
- 前記銀ニッケル複合酸化物は、AgxNiyO2(x/yは、1以上であり、かつ、1.9以下である)からなる、請求項1または請求項2に記載の偏平形電池。
- 前記酸化銀の粒径は、50μm〜500μmの範囲である、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の偏平形電池。
