In recent years, so-called plug-in hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles equipped with a power storage device that can be charged with electric power from an external power source such as a household power source have been developed. If this type of vehicle is equipped with a power supply device including a plurality of power storage devices as described above so that it can be charged with electric power from an external power supply, the distance that can be traveled by the electric power from the power supply device can be further extended. it can. Here, in order to be able to charge a plurality of power storage devices satisfactorily with power from an external power supply in a power supply device including a plurality of power storage devices that can be charged with power from an external power supply, Although it is necessary to inspect parts related to charging, an assembled state, and the like, such an inspection is required to be completed in as short a time as possible.
In view of the above, a main object of the present invention is to make it possible to quickly execute an inspection relating to charging of a plurality of power storage devices using electric power from an external power source in a power supply device including the plurality of power storage devices.
The power supply apparatus according to the present invention, the vehicle including the power supply apparatus, and the inspection method for the power supply apparatus employ the following means in order to achieve the main object described above.
The power supply device according to the present invention includes:
A power supply device including first and second power storage devices each capable of charging and discharging,
A charging device connected to an external power source and used for charging the first and second power storage devices with electric power from the external power source;
A first connection / disconnection means capable of connecting the charging device and the first power storage device and releasing the connection therebetween;
A second connection / disconnection means capable of connecting the charging device and the second power storage device and releasing the connection therebetween;
The first and second connecting / disconnecting means and the charging device so that the first and second power storage devices are charged with power from the external power source for a predetermined charging time in a predetermined order. An abnormality determining means for determining whether or not there is an abnormality at the time of switching the state of the first and second connection / disconnection means and charging the first and second power storage devices;
Is provided.
In this power supply device, when the inspection relating to the charging of the first and second power storage devices by the power from the external power supply is performed, the first and second power storage devices are connected to the external power source for a predetermined charging time in a predetermined order. The first and second connecting / disconnecting means and the charging device are controlled so as to be charged by the electric power from the battery. Then, the abnormality determination means determines whether or not there is an abnormality when the first and second connection / disconnection means are switched and when the first and second power storage devices are charged. As a result, the charging time of the first and second power storage devices can be shortened as much as possible within the range required for the inspection when inspecting the charging of the plurality of power storage devices using the electric power from the external power source. It becomes possible to execute promptly.
Further, the abnormality determination means connects the first power storage device and the charging device by the first connection / disconnection means, and connects the second power storage device and the charging device by the second connection / connection means. The charging of the first power storage unit is started when a predetermined switching inspection time has elapsed after the connection is released, and the second power storage device and the charging device are connected by the second connection / disconnection unit. In addition, charging of the second power storage means is started when a predetermined switching inspection time has elapsed since the connection between the first power storage device and the charging device is released by the first connection / disconnection means. It may be a thing. As a result, the switching inspection time for the first and second connection / disconnection means is made as short as possible within the range necessary for the inspection, thereby requiring the inspection relating to the charging of the plurality of power storage devices using the electric power from the external power source. Time can be further shortened.
In addition, the power supply device includes the first and second connection / disconnection means so that the first and second power storage devices are charged with power from the external power source up to a predetermined target power storage ratio in the order. And a charging control means for controlling the charging device. That is, the order of charging in the actual charging of the first and second power storage devices by the power from the external power source is matched with the order of charging in the inspection relating to the charging of the plurality of power storage devices using the power from the external power source, If the charging time and the switching inspection time are determined in advance, it is possible to execute the above inspection by diverting the control logic used when charging the first and second power storage devices by the power from the external power source. Development costs related to inspection can be reduced.

In addition, since the

When charging of the
As described above, in the
