Description
The present invention relates to a method for maintaining a ladle for hot metal.
Conventionally, when a ladle is used over a plurality of charges (multiple heats), the refractory in the ladle is melted and the refractory is repaired regularly.
In
In
As described above,
Therefore, the ladle for molten steel and the ladle for hot metal differ from each other in terms of shape and usage, etc., and the way in which the refractory melts at the bottom is different, as shown in
Therefore, in the present invention, when preparing a ladle for hot metal, it is possible to prevent the refractory from peeling off at the center of the bottom where the refractory is easily melted and to improve the life of the ladle. The purpose is to provide maintenance methods.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has taken the following measures.
The technical means of the present invention provides a hot metal that is used to convey hot metal and has a circular arc at the bottom, and the hot metal remaining after the hot metal is discharged is the center of the bottom. The ladle is tilted before solidifying at, and the tilt is maintained until the hot metal solidifies at a position different from the central portion of the bottom portion, and the refractory is repaired at the central portion of the bottom portion.
According to the present invention, when preparing a ladle for hot metal, it is possible to prevent the refractory from being peeled off at the center of the bottom where the refractory is easily melted and to improve the life of the ladle.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
In a steelmaking factory, a ladle for hot metal used to transport hot metal, for example, accepts the hot metal from the kneading car, then delivers the received hot metal to the converter or uses it for dephosphorization. After receiving the hot metal discharged from the converter, it is used to discharge the received hot metal to the converter for dephosphorization. In this way, if receiving and unloading (dispensing) are repeatedly performed in the ladle for hot metal, the refractory in the ladle will be melted and metal will adhere to the inside, so that the ladle must be maintained. . It is common for ladle maintenance to be performed at a maintenance factory. Hereinafter, for convenience of explanation, the ladle for hot metal may be simply referred to as a ladle.
First, the structure of the ladle for hot metal will be described with reference to FIG.
For example, when considering the case of refining in a converter, since it is desired that the mixing ratio of hot metal and scrap charged in the converter can be freely changed, in order to ensure its freedom, It is desirable that the hot metal capacity in the
In this way, the ladle is generally arc-shaped in the ladle (bottom) so as to reduce the weight while securing as much hot metal capacity as possible.
As shown in FIG. 1, in detail, the
The
When hot metal is discharged to a converter or the like using such a
Moreover, in the
Therefore, when the
More specifically, when the
The
And after installing the
After the
Now, as mentioned above, the repair shop also repairs the refractory 3 but also removes the bullion attached to the
When the
The temperature of the
If the
In removing the metal bar attached to the
In addition, when removing the
Thus, when removing the
Therefore, when removing the
When the bullion temperature exceeds 800 ° C., the strength of the
In addition, when the metal temperature is cooled to 800 ° C. or less, the
As shown in FIG. 4, when the temperature is high, there is not much difference in shrinkage between pure iron and refractory, but when the temperature is below about 1100 ° C., the difference in shrinkage suddenly increases and the difference in shrinkage is about 3%. It is.
Further, as shown in FIG. 5, when the average linear expansion coefficient at 727 ° C. and the total contraction amount are observed from the liquidus when the carbon amount is changed, the difference in the contraction amount is constant. Thus, even if it sees from FIG.4 and FIG.5, since the difference of the shrinkage | contraction rate of the
Further, if the metal temperature is 800 ° C. or lower, the strength of the
In this way, the
Now, when removing the
Thus, when removing the
