基板ケース１をベース板70に固定した後は、封印カバー30の上面の封印添付部50（図１参照）に、図３及び図５に示すように、封印カバー30とベース板70とにまたがって封印シール52を貼り付け、封印カバー30の正面の証紙添付部51（図１参照）には証紙シール53を貼り付ける。なお、封印シール52は、一度貼り付けると剥がすときにその痕跡が残るように形成されているものであり、証紙シール53は、登録番号など遊技機固有の情報が記載されているものである。こうして、基板ケース１は、ベース板70あるいはベース板70を固定した交換ユニット200を介して、遊技機内部に封印される。
ここで、下ケース20の内側であってピン穴21の下方に、図６に示すように、透明なピン受け容器60を設けてもよい。これは、ヒンジ兼用かしめピン41の頭部40Aを破壊したときに、下ケース20内に落下する軸部を受け入れるためのものである。このようなピン受け容器60を設けておくことにより、かしめを解除したことが一見して判り、不正な基板ケース１の開封を防止することができる。また、ピン受け容器60を下ケース20に着脱自在に形成すれば、破壊後のかしめピン40の残骸を取り出してから再度ピン受け容器60を取り付けることができる。同様に、特に図示しないが、ベース板70のピン穴73の下側であって正面側から視認可能となる位置に、固定用かしめピン42を破壊したときに落下する軸部を受け入れるためのピン受け容器を設けてもよい。
