Description
Claims (10)
- セパレータを挟んで交互に積層されている複数の第1電極板及び複数の第2電極板を備える電極組立体と、上記電極組立体とともに電解液が収納される収納部を有するケースと、を備える二次電池において、
上記ケースを貫通するリードとそれぞれ連結されるように上記複数の第1電極板のそれぞれに連結された複数の第1タップと上記複数の第2電極板にそれぞれ連結された複数の第2タップとのうち少なくとも何れか一方には、積層されるタップとタップとの間に塗布され、温度上昇によって発泡することにより上記タップを切断させる発泡剤が備えられていることを特徴とする二次電池。 - 上記発泡剤が備えられているタップの側面に所定の長さ分引込形成されたノッチをさらに備え、
上記ノッチの位置は、上記発泡剤の位置と対応することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 上記発泡剤の膨張時上記タップの動きを抑制するために、上記発泡剤を中心にして所定の間隔離隔するように上記タップを溶接した一対の溶接部を備えることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 上記ノッチは、上記タップの両側で引込形成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 上記ノッチは、「V」字型または「U」字型を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 上記発泡剤は、高分子カプセル型の物理発泡剤であることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 上記溶接部は、上記タップの全幅にわたって形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- (a)電極板に連結されたタップに発泡剤を塗布するステップと、
(b)上記発泡剤が塗布されたタップの側面のうち上記発泡剤の位置と対応する位置にノッチを形成するステップと、
(c)セパレータを挟んで相違なる極性の電極板を交互に配置し、上記それぞれのノッチが一致するように電極板のタップを集積させるステップと、
(d)上記タップの端を対応する極性を有するリードと連結させて電極組立体を形成するステップと、
(e)上記電極組立体を電解液とともにケースに密封収納するステップと
を含み、
積層されるタップとタップとの間に塗布された上記発泡剤が温度上昇によって発泡することにより上記タップを切断させる二次電池を製造する二次電池の製造方法。 - 上記(c)ステップの後、上記発泡剤を中心にして所定間隔離隔するように上記タップに溶接部を形成するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
- 請求項8または請求項9に記載の方法に従って製造された二次電池。
