Description
The present invention relates to an in-vehicle navigation device.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an in-vehicle navigation device is known as a device that performs route guidance for guiding a vehicle driver to a predetermined destination or displays an arbitrary map. In the in-vehicle navigation device, the traveling locus specified from the current position detected based on the signal of each sensor provided in the host vehicle and the road data on the electronic map (that is, map data) are collated. Thus, it is known that map matching is performed to match the traveling locus of the host vehicle with a road on the map.
However, in the conventional technology, when the host vehicle is traveling on a new highway that is not registered in the map data, an erroneous map matching that forcibly matches the traveling locus of the host vehicle with the surrounding general road is performed. There was a problem that repeated wrong route guidance was repeated.
On the other hand, for example, in
In the techniques disclosed in
Therefore, as means for solving this problem, for example, Patent Document 3 discloses a technique for determining whether or not the vehicle is traveling on an unregistered new toll road using a notification at the time of passing through an ETC entrance gate or exit gate. Is disclosed. Specifically, in the technique disclosed in Patent Document 3, when there is no interchange around the current position when the ETC on-board device is notified of the passage of the entrance gate of the toll road, or the ETC on-vehicle device passes the exit gate of the toll road When the current position changes from a position on the toll road to a position outside the toll road without being notified, it is determined that the new toll road that is not registered in the map data is traveling.
However, the technique disclosed in Patent Document 3 has a problem that it is not possible to accurately identify highways that are not registered in the map data. Specifically, there is not always an ETC gate at the expressway entrance, and in the case of a flat fee type expressway, there may be an ETC gate in the middle of the expressway. Until halfway, it is not possible to determine that the vehicle is traveling on an unregistered highway. In addition, it is conceivable that there is no ETC gate in the case of a freeway, but in this case, it cannot be determined at all that the vehicle is traveling on an unregistered highway.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional problems, and an object thereof is to make it possible to more accurately determine that the vehicle is traveling on a highway that is not registered in map data. The object is to provide an in-vehicle navigation device.
According to the in-vehicle navigation device of the first aspect, since the radio wave from the radio beacon provided on the expressway is received, the vehicle is traveling on the expressway using the reception of the radio wave from the radio beacon. Can be estimated.
According to the configuration of
In addition, radio wave beacons provided on highways are generally intended to transmit traffic road information, and are not intended to transmit information related to billing processing like ETC gates. Therefore, by using the reception of radio waves from the radio beacon, it is possible to determine that the vehicle is traveling on the highway even on a free highway. Furthermore, matching is generally performed sequentially in the in-vehicle navigation device.
Therefore, according to the above configuration, by using the reception of the radio wave from the radio beacon and the matching accuracy, the map data is not included in the map data regardless of the presence of the ETC gate and the traveling location on the highway. It is possible to more accurately determine that the vehicle is traveling on the registered highway.
Moreover, until receiving radio waves from radio waves beacon will identify the road matching high matching accuracy than the second predetermined threshold as a road during running of the vehicle. On the other hand, after receiving the radio wave from the radio beacon, the vehicle travels only on a road that matches with a higher matching accuracy than the first predetermined threshold value that is set higher than the second predetermined threshold value. When the road is identified as a middle road and there is only a road that matches with a matching accuracy equal to or lower than the first predetermined threshold, it is determined that the vehicle is traveling on a highway that is not registered in the map data.
In other words, according to the above configuration, the vehicle is traveling with a relatively loose matching accuracy similar to that used in the past until it is estimated that the radio beacon is received and traveling on the highway. After the radio wave beacon is received and the highway is estimated to be running, the road on which the vehicle is running is identified with a matching accuracy that is stricter than that used in the past. It becomes possible.
Therefore, according to the above configuration, after receiving the radio wave from the radio beacon and estimating that the vehicle is traveling on the highway, the highway in which the vehicle is not registered in the map data strictly by the first predetermined threshold is used. It is possible to determine whether or not the vehicle is traveling on the other hand, while receiving a radio wave from a radio beacon and until it is estimated that the vehicle is traveling on a highway, The current position of the vehicle on the road on the map can be specified by the map matching means by the predetermined threshold as in the prior art.
In general, roads that are not registered in the map data are generally rarely long, and will be connected to roads that are registered in the map data immediately. There is a high possibility that you can return to the correct route guidance right away. Therefore, it is considered that the necessity of determining that the vehicle is traveling on an unregistered general road until the matching conditions are strict is considered low. On the other hand, the highway that is not registered in the map data is generally long, so it is not immediately connected to the road registered in the map data. There is a high possibility that the route guidance will continue to be repeated. Therefore, it is considered that it is highly necessary to determine that the host vehicle is traveling on an unregistered highway until the matching conditions are strict. Therefore, according to the configuration of the second aspect, it is possible to suppress the situation where the matching condition is strict, only when the necessity is high.
The technique disclosed in Patent Document 3 discloses a technique that prohibits updating of the travel route from the current position to the destination while determining that the vehicle is traveling on a toll road that is not registered in the map data. However, since there is no change in the fact that the wrong travel route is being guided, there is a problem that the user feels bothersome.
On the other hand, according to the configuration of claim 2 , when it is determined that the vehicle is traveling on a highway that is not registered in the map data, the guidance of the travel route is stopped, so that an incorrect travel route is There is no guidance and the user does not feel bothered.
Further, as shown in claim 3 , while the guidance of the movement route is stopped, it is possible to present the vehicle indicating that the vehicle is traveling on a highway that is not registered in the map data. According to this, since the user can easily know that the guidance of the movement route is stopped because the vehicle is traveling on the highway that is not registered in the map data, It can be easily distinguished from the case where the guidance is stopped, and the user is not confused.
Further, as in claim 4 , when the map matching means continuously specifies the current position of the vehicle on the road on the map, and the matching accuracy calculated by the matching accuracy calculation means is higher than the first predetermined threshold Further, it may be possible to cancel the cancellation of the guidance of the movement route. According to this, when the vehicle moves from a highway that is not registered in the map data to a road that is registered in the map data, the cancellation of the guidance of the movement route is canceled when matching is performed with high matching accuracy. It becomes possible to do. That is, according to the above configuration, when the correct travel route can be guided, the travel route can be resumed.
Further, as in
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a schematic configuration of an in-
The position detector 11 includes a gyroscope 12 that detects an angular velocity around the vertical direction of the vehicle, an acceleration sensor 13 that detects acceleration of the host vehicle, a wheel speed sensor 14 that detects the speed of the host vehicle from the rotational speed of each rolling wheel, And a GPS receiver 15 for GPS (Global Positioning System) that detects the current position of the vehicle based on the radio wave from the artificial satellite, and periodically detects the current position and the traveling direction of the host vehicle. . Therefore, the position detector 11 corresponds to the position / direction detecting means in the claims. Since each of these sensors 12 to 15 has an error having a different property, it is configured to be used while being complemented by a plurality of sensors. Depending on the accuracy, a part of the above may be used, and a geomagnetic sensor or a steering rotation sensor (not shown) may be used.
Note that the in-
The map
On the other hand, the node data includes a node ID, a node coordinate, a node name, and a link ID of a link connected to the node, each node having a unique number for each node where roads on the map intersect, merge and branch. It consists of each data such as ID and intersection type.
The
The
The
For example, a touch switch or a mechanical switch integrated with the
The
The
The
The
For example, in the route search execution process, the
In the route guidance processing, for example, the
Further, in the map matching process, as described above, the
Further, in the map matching process, the
Then, in the map matching process, when the matching accuracy is higher than a threshold value set at normal time (hereinafter referred to as a normal setting threshold value), the
In this embodiment, when the matching accuracy is higher than the normal setting threshold, the road matched with the traveling locus of the own vehicle is set as the road on which the own vehicle is traveling, and the current position of the own vehicle on the road on the map is determined. Although the configuration to be identified is shown, it is not necessarily limited to this. For example, regardless of the normal setting threshold value, a road that has been matched with the highest matching accuracy may be a road on which the host vehicle is traveling.
Further, the
Next, the flow of the unregistered highway discrimination related process in the
First, in step S <b> 1, the
In step S2, the
In step S3, the
In step S4, the
In step S5, a message display process is performed, and the process proceeds to step S6. In the message display process, the
In step S6, the
In other words, even after the transition to the mode for canceling route guidance, route guidance is not performed, but map matching processing is executed sequentially, and roads that match with a higher matching accuracy than the unregistered highway discrimination threshold (highways and general roads) When any of the roads appears, route guidance is resumed.
In step S9, if the ignition (IG) switch of the host vehicle is turned off (YES in step S9), the flow ends. When the IG switch of the host vehicle is not turned off (NO in step S9), the process returns to step S1 and the flow is repeated. In addition, this flow shall be complete | finished when the
If the matching accuracy is low, there is a high possibility that the vehicle is traveling on a road that is not registered in the map data. Therefore, according to the above configuration, the vehicle is traveling on a highway that is not registered in the map data. Can be determined.
In addition, when a radio wave from a radio beacon provided on a highway is erroneously received when traveling on a general road registered in map data, the map matching process ensures that the traveling locus of the host vehicle has a high matching accuracy on the general road. It is thought that it matches with. Therefore, according to the above configuration, even when a radio wave from the radio beacon is erroneously received when traveling on the general road, the matching accuracy is likely to be higher than the unregistered expressway discrimination threshold. When traveling on a road, it is less likely to cause a problem that it is determined that the vehicle is traveling on an expressway that is not registered in the map data.
Furthermore, according to the above configuration, when it is determined that the host vehicle is traveling on a highway that is not registered in the map data, the route guidance is stopped, so that an incorrect guidance route is not guided. The user does not have to feel bothered.
In addition, according to the above configuration, while the route guidance is stopped, the vehicle is presented on the highway that is not registered in the map data so that the vehicle is not registered in the map data. The user can easily know that the route guidance has been canceled due to traveling on the highway, and can be easily distinguished from the case where the route guidance has been canceled due to a failure. . Therefore, according to the above configuration, the user is not confused.
Further, according to the above configuration, the map matching process is sequentially executed even after the mode is changed to the mode for canceling the route guidance, and when a road that matches with a higher matching accuracy than the unregistered expressway discrimination threshold appears. Since the guidance is resumed, the route guidance can be resumed when correct route guidance is possible.
In the above configuration, the unregistered highway discrimination threshold is preferably set to a value higher than the normal setting threshold when the normal setting threshold is used in the in-
According to the above configuration, after receiving a radio wave from a radio beacon provided on an expressway and estimating that the vehicle is traveling on the expressway, the vehicle is strictly determined by the unregistered expressway discrimination threshold. It is possible to determine whether or not you are traveling on an unregistered expressway, but until now it is estimated that you are traveling on a highway until you receive the radio wave from the radio beacon As with the conventional setting threshold, the current position of the vehicle on the road on the map can be specified by the map matching process as in the conventional case.
Therefore, according to the above configuration, it is possible to suppress the situation where the matching condition is strict, only when the necessity is high.
Here, the effect in this invention is demonstrated concretely using FIG. 3 (a) and FIG.3 (b). FIGS. 3A and 3B are schematic diagrams illustrating an example of a screen of the
Further, a broken-line arrow indicated by F in FIGS. 3A and 3B represents the actual current position of the host vehicle (hereinafter, actual position), and the direction of the arrow indicates the actual position of the host vehicle. Represents the direction of travel. In addition, a thin dotted line indicated by G in FIGS. 3A and 3B represents an actual traveling locus of the host vehicle (hereinafter referred to as an actual traveling locus), and a thick dotted line denoted by H represents a guide route. ing. 3A and 3B, the solid arrow indicated by I represents the current position of the host vehicle (hereinafter, estimated current position) specified by the map matching process, and the direction of the arrow Represents the traveling direction of the host vehicle identified by the map matching process. Further, the unregistered expressway C, the unregistered toll gate E, the actual location F, and the actual travel locus G are not displayed on the screen of the
When the host vehicle is traveling on the registered highway B, there is a high possibility that the actual traveling locus G of the host vehicle matches the registered highway B with high matching accuracy by the map matching process. As shown in FIG. 3B, the guide route H is also along the registered highway B. However, after the host vehicle enters the unregistered expressway C from the registered expressway B, the road data of the unregistered expressway C does not exist in the map data. Matching with the registered highway C cannot be performed.
Since the actual traveling locus G of the own vehicle cannot be matched with the unregistered highway C by the map matching process, for example, the road with the highest matching accuracy among the surrounding roads (the registered general road A in this example) The actual traveling locus G is matched, and the current position of the host vehicle is specified on the road as shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B (see the estimated current position I in the figure). Further, by re-specifying the current position of the host vehicle in this way, a re-search process is performed based on the incorrect current position, and an incorrect guide route H is displayed as shown in FIG. It will continue to be displayed on the
On the other hand, according to the present invention, based on the reception of the radio wave from the radio beacon of the unregistered highway C and the matching accuracy, the vehicle is traveling on the unregistered highway C. For example, as shown in FIG. 3B, display on the
In the above-described embodiment, the configuration is described in which the route guidance is stopped when it is determined that the host vehicle is traveling on an expressway that is not registered in the map data. However, the present invention is not necessarily limited thereto. For example, if it is determined that the vehicle is traveling on a highway that is not registered in the map data, the vehicle is traveling on a highway that is not registered in the map data without stopping the route guidance. It is good also as a structure which the
In the above-described embodiment, while the route guidance is stopped, the configuration is shown in which the vehicle indicates that it is traveling on the highway that is not registered in the map data. However, the present invention is not necessarily limited thereto. . For example, it is good also as a structure which does not perform the presentation which shows that the own vehicle is drive | working the highway which is not registered into map data, while stopping route guidance.
In the above-described embodiment, the map matching process is sequentially executed even after the mode is switched to the mode for canceling the route guidance, and the route guidance is displayed when a road that matches with a higher matching accuracy than the unregistered expressway discrimination threshold appears. However, the present invention is not necessarily limited to this. For example, when the
Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, when the
Even in this case, when the host vehicle is traveling on a highway that is not registered in the map data, the position of the host vehicle is specified on the road registered in the map data by the map matching process. The current position of the host vehicle displayed on the 19 maps is erroneously specified. Therefore, when the user travels based on the positional relationship between the guidance route and the current position of the host vehicle displayed on the map of the
