Description
The present invention relates to an electrode type steam humidifier.
An electrode-type steam humidifier applies a voltage between electrodes immersed in water in a water container to flow current, generates water by boiling water with Joule heat, and supplies the steam to an air supply such as an air conditioner. Used to spray and humidify. The amount of humidification (steam generation amount) is controlled by changing the current value by increasing or decreasing the surface area (immersion water level) of the electrode in contact with water by water supply and drainage.
However, since the magnitude of the current value is affected by the conductivity of water, if the conductivity is too low, the required current value is not reached even if the immersion water level reaches the upper limit, resulting in insufficient humidification capacity. On the other hand, if the conductivity is too high, adhesion of the scale to the electrode increases, resulting in a short life. In order to prevent this, it was necessary to supply water with an appropriate conductivity. Although tap water is generally used for this water supply, there is a problem that the electrode-type steam humidifier cannot be used outside the tap water region having an appropriate conductivity because the conductivity varies greatly depending on the region. In addition, when the scale adheres and accumulates between the electrodes after a long period of use, there is a risk that current flows between the electrodes even if there is no water, resulting in smoke, fire, or failure.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a plurality of electrodes in a water container and boiles the water with a current flowing between the electrodes through the water in the water container so that an amount corresponding to the current value is obtained. An electrode type steam humidifier for generating humidifying steam, a water supply mechanism for starting / stopping water supply of the water container by a command signal, a drainage mechanism for starting / stopping drainage of the water container by a command signal, A current value detector for detecting a current value flowing between the electrodes, a water level detector for detecting the full position of the water container, a set current value corresponding to a required humidification amount, and a detected current value of the current value detector. A humidification amount controller that controls the detection current value by increasing or decreasing the immersion water level of the electrode in the water container by sending a command signal to the water supply mechanism and the drainage mechanism, and a water level detector After detecting the full water position, By sending a signal, water supply is stopped and the amount of drainage up to the electrode soaking upper limit water level can be set freely. The most important feature is that it includes a conductivity control mechanism that controls the conductivity of the water by energizing and stopping the water supply for a predetermined time so that the water supply stop time can be changed.
According to the invention of
(1) If steam generation is continued without supplying water in a water container containing water, the electrolyte (ion) concentration increases and the conductivity increases. By utilizing this, the water conductivity in the water container is first made higher than the appropriate value, so that the proper conductivity can be maintained even when water with low conductivity is supplied later. it can. That is, when the conductivity of the water supply is low, the conductivity control mechanism increases the conductivity by setting the water supply stop time in the energized state between the electrodes at the electrode immersion upper limit water level to increase the conductivity, and from the full water to the electrode immersion upper limit water level. By setting the drainage amount to be small and reducing the decrease in conductivity, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of insufficient humidification capacity, stabilize the humidification amount, and eliminate restrictions on the area where the electrode-type steam humidifier is used.
(2) If the conductivity of the water supply is too high, the conductivity control mechanism sets a short water supply stop time in the energized state between the electrodes at the electrode immersion upper limit water level to lower the conductivity, and from the full water to the electrode immersion upper limit water level By increasing the amount of drainage up to this point and increasing the decrease in conductivity, it is possible to make the conductivity appropriate and reduce the adhesion of scales to the electrodes, thereby extending the life.
(3) When the conductivity of the water supply is low automatically, the conductivity control mechanism increases the conductivity by increasing the water supply stop time in the energized state between the electrodes at the electrode immersion upper limit water level. By reducing the amount of drainage up to the upper limit water level and reducing the decrease in conductivity, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of insufficient humidification capacity, stabilize the humidification amount, and eliminate restrictions on the use area of the electrode-type steam humidifier.
According to the invention of claim 2 , even if a scale adheres between the electrodes, an abnormal signal can be output by the short-circuit prevention mechanism and the forced stop can be automatically performed, and safety and reliability are improved.

The control means 4 includes a
Setting of required humidification amount and current value corresponding to it, setting of drainage amount from full water to electrode immersion upper limit water level, setting of water supply stop time of energization state between
FIG. 2 shows an operation flow of the electrode type steam humidifier of the present invention. When the operation of the electrode type steam humidifier is started, a predetermined voltage is applied between the
In this case, if the conductivity of the water supply is low, the detected current value does not exceed the set current value even if the immersion water level of the
In addition to the control described above, when the current value between the
Moreover, it is free to configure so that the conductivity control is automatically performed. In that case, the
