3M(3M)から商品名「3M(商標)高輝度プリズム反射性シート(High Intensity Prismatic Reflective Sheeting)3930(「3930高輝度プリズム」)」として市販の、幅15.2cm(6インチ)長さ約45.7m(50ヤード)の再帰反射性シートのロールを、3Mから商品名「トラフィックグリーンリボン(Traffic Green Ribbon)(「TTR2308」)」として市販の緑の熱物質転写リボンで熱物質転写印刷した。3930高輝度プリズムシートを、緑が印刷されたブロックの間の1.9cm(0.75インチ)の印刷されていない間隙によって分離された、14cm(5.5インチ)×8.3cm(3.25インチ)のソリッドブロックのパターンに印刷した。

光沢を、ビック・ガードナー(BYK Gardner)から商品名「ミクロトリグロス(Micro-TRI-Gloss)」で入手可能な機器を用いて60°図形で測定した。「0」は、測定中に光沢計の長軸がダウンウェブシート方向に延びていることを意味し、「90」は、測定中に光沢計の長軸がダウンウェブシート方向に対して垂直に延びていることを意味する。
輝度を、米国防衛特許公開第T987,003号に記載されているような再帰性照度計を用いて、観測角約0.2°及び入口角約−4.0°で測定した。
着色剤を、バージニア州レストン(Reston, VA)のハンター・アソシエート・ラボラトリー(Hunter Associates Laboratory)から入手可能なハンターラボカラーフレックス(HunterLab ColorFlex)CX950を使用して、0/45図形、D65/2°観測角で、Yxyカラースケール(colorscale)を用いて、ポートサイズ(port size)3.2cm(1.25インチ)で測定した。
Claims (3)
- 表示面及び非表示面と、該表示面の上に配置される熱物質転写された無色の組成物と、を含む再帰反射性シートであって、該組成物が、少なくとも1種類のアクリル樹脂と、3重量%未満の25℃で不透明な成分と、を含む均質な非反応性熱可塑性組成物を含む、再帰反射性シート。
- 前記熱物質転写された組成物の、全視感透過率に対する最大拡散視感透過率の割合が50%未満である、請求項1に記載の再帰反射性シート。
- 熱転写された有色の組成物が、前記再帰反射性シートと前記熱転写された無色の組成物との間に提供される、請求項1に記載の再帰反射性シート。
