前記植込医療装置の1個以上の前記センサを有効にすることと;
1個以上の前記センサを使用して、頻拍性不整脈があるか否か判定することと;
「頻拍性不整脈がある」と判定されたら、患者に抗頻拍ペーシング治療を施すことと
を有することを特徴とする、植込医療装置の操作方法。

前記抗頻拍ペーシング治療は使い果たされたか、および頻拍性不整脈はまだあるか否か判定することと;

「前記磁気共鳴画像電磁場の不在」を示す前記鉄心飽和信号が監視されたら、前記植込医療装置を第3動作モードに入れることであって、前記第3動作モードにおいて前記植込医療装置は、抗頻拍ペーシング治療またはショック治療が必要であるか否か判定し、「前記抗頻拍ペーシング治療または前記ショック治療が必要である」という判定がされたら、前記抗頻拍ペーシング治療または前記ショック治療を加えるように構成されていることとを有する、

前記操作方法はさらに、
前記植込医療装置によって加えられる頻拍性不整脈治療に、干渉する虞のある外部磁場の不在を示す鉄心飽和信号を監視することと;
前記鉄心飽和信号が「外部磁場の不在」を示したら、前記植込医療装置を第3動作モードに入れて頻拍性不整脈治療を加えることと

前記磁気共鳴画像信号が検出されると、第1動作モードに入ることであって、前記植込医療装置が前記第1動作モードに入ったら、前記植込医療装置への少なくとも1個のセンサ入力は無視され、患者の心臓にペーシング治療またはショック治療は加えられないことと;
即時治療の必要性を示す外部装置からの命令信号を、監視することと;
前記命令信号を検出したら、前記植込医療装置を第2動作モードに移行させ、前記植込医療装置の少なくとも1個のセンサ入力が監視されることで、頻拍性不整脈があるか否か判定することと;
「頻拍性不整脈がある」と判定されたら、前記磁気共鳴画像電磁場の存在下で、患者にペーシング治療を加えることと
を有することを特徴とする、植込医療装置の操作方法。

Claims (8)
- 患者の心臓における心臓活動を監視して患者の心臓に治療を加える目的で、患者の体内に埋込むように構成された植込医療装置であって、
前記植込医療装置は、
ペーシングパルスとショックパルスとを加えるように動作可能なパルス発生器と;
前記パルス発生器に連結された近接部と、患者の心臓に固定された遠位部とを有する1本以上のリード線であって、前記リード線は、患者の心臓に治療刺激を加えるように構成されていることと;
電磁場の存在下で前記植込医療装置を動作させる動作モードを含む複数の動作モードと、前記複数の動作モード間の移行とに、前記植込医療装置を入れるように動作可能な状態制御モジュールと
を有し、
前記複数の動作モードは、
即時治療の必要性を示す命令を、前記植込医療装置が監視する第1動作モードであって、前記命令は患者の外部にある外部装置から提供されることと;
頻拍性不整脈の存在を判定するために使用される1個以上のセンサを、アクティブ化する第2動作モードと;
頻拍性不整脈がなくなるまで、あるいは所定数のペーシングセッションが使い果たされるまで、前記ペーシングパルスを供給する第3動作モードと
を有することを特徴とする、植込医療装置。 - 前記植込医療装置はさらに、前記外部装置からモード命令を受取るように動作可能な通信モジュールを有し、
前記モード命令は、前記植込医療装置を複数の前記動作モードのうちのいずれか1モードに入るように促す、
請求項1記載の植込医療装置。 - 前記通信モジュールは、前記外部装置に無線通信するための回路を有する、
請求項2記載の植込医療装置。 - 前記第1動作モードにおいて前記植込医療装置は、ペーシングパルスまたはショックパルスを加えないように構成されている、

第1動作モード命令信号が受取られた後に前記植込医療装置は、前記第4動作モードから前記第1動作モードに移行する、
請求項5記載の植込医療装置。 - 前記植込医療装置はさらに、磁気共鳴画像電磁場の存在を自動的に検出するように構成された磁気共鳴画像検出モジュールを有し、
前記状態制御モジュールは、前記磁気共鳴画像電磁場の検出に応答して、前記植込医療装置を前記第1動作モードに入れるように構成されている、
