Description
図1に示すディスク装置(HDD)1は、ケース2と、スピンドル3を中心に回転するディスク4と、ピボット軸5を中心に旋回可能なキャリッジ6と、キャリッジ6を駆動するためのポジショニング用モータ7などを有している。ケース2は、図示しない蓋によって密閉される。

Claims (1)
- ロードビームと、該ロードビームに固定された配線付きフレキシャとを有するディスク装置用サスペンションであって、
前記配線付きフレキシャがフレキシャテール部を有し、
前記フレキシャテール部は、
金属の板からなり該フレキシャテール部の長手方向に間隔をあけて形成された複数の開口部を有したメタルベースと、
電気絶縁性の材料からなり前記メタルベースの一方の面に設けられかつ前記開口部の内側に位置する内面を有した電気絶縁層と、
前記電気絶縁層上に形成され前記メタルベースの長手方向に延びる導体とを有し、
前記フレキシャテール部に前記複数の開口部を覆って前記メタルベースの長手方向に延びるダンパが配置され、
前記ダンパは、
第1の面と第2の面を有し前記第1の面が前記フレキシャテール部に固定された粘弾性部材と、
前記粘弾性部材の前記第2の面に固定され前記複数の開口部に沿って前記メタルベースの長手方向に延びる金属製の拘束板とを有し、
前記粘弾性部材の第1の面が、前記開口部に入り込んで前記電気絶縁層の前記内面に接着した第1の接着部と、前記開口部の周りにおいて前記メタルベースの他方の面に接着した第2の接着部とを有し、
前記拘束板と前記導体とが互いに前記粘弾性部材と前記電気絶縁層とを間に挟んだ状態で対向し、前記導体と前記拘束板との間に前記粘弾性部材の厚さ以上の距離が確保されたことを特徴とするディスク装置用サスペンション。
