Description
The present invention relates to a high-pressure fuel pump control device that controls a high-pressure fuel pump that pressurizes fuel supplied to an internal combustion engine.
Patent Document 1 discloses a high-pressure fuel pump control device that controls a high-pressure fuel pump that pressurizes fuel supplied to an internal combustion engine. The high-pressure fuel pump is provided between a fuel inlet and a pressurizing chamber. A fuel intake valve, a solenoid for opening and closing the fuel intake valve, and a plunger driven by a pump cam that rotates in synchronization with the rotation of the engine. The fuel supplied to the pressurizing chamber is pressurized by the plunger and discharged from the fuel discharge port.
In this high pressure fuel pump, the solenoid valve is energized during the period in which the plunger moves in the direction of pressurizing the fuel, whereby the fuel intake valve is closed and the fuel is pressurized. Therefore, the energization period of the solenoid needs to be set according to the engine rotation phase (the rotation phase of the pump cam). Immediately after the start of the engine start, the engine rotation phase is unknown, so immediately at an accurate timing. It is difficult to energize the solenoid.
For this reason, in the control device disclosed in Patent Literature 1, the solenoid is always energized during the period from the start of starting until the determination of the engine rotation phase is completed.
However, in the above-described conventional apparatus, if the period from the start to the completion of the rotational phase determination becomes long, excessive heat generation of the solenoid may occur.
The present invention has been made paying attention to this point, and it is possible to appropriately control the timing of energization of the solenoid (closing of the fuel intake valve) immediately after the start of the engine, thereby preventing excessive heat generation of the solenoid. An object of the present invention is to provide a high-pressure fuel pump control device.
In order to achieve the above object, the invention described in claim 1 is a high-pressure fuel pump (23) for pressurizing fuel to be supplied to the internal combustion engine (1), comprising a fuel inlet (46) and a pressurizing chamber (47). ), A fuel discharge port (48), a fuel intake valve (43) provided between the fuel intake port (46) and the pressurizing chamber (47), and opens and closes the fuel intake valve (43). And a solenoid (45) for pressurizing the fuel supplied from the fuel suction port (46) to the pressurizing chamber (47) via the fuel suction valve (43), 48) In the high-pressure fuel pump control device for controlling the operation of the high-pressure fuel pump (23) discharged from the engine, a rotation angle position sensor (11, 12) that outputs a predetermined pulse signal according to the rotation angle position of the engine; Cylinder discrimination of the engine is performed based on a predetermined pulse signal When the cylinder discrimination by the cylinder discrimination means and the cylinder discrimination means is completed, the energization period of the solenoid (45) is controlled based on the rotation angle position, and the fuel intake valve (43) is closed. An energization control means for discharging a required amount of fuel from the high-pressure fuel pump (23) by controlling a period; and a storage means for storing cylinder discrimination information by the cylinder discrimination means when the engine is stopped. The energization control means has a period of energization (DSOLON) set based on the cylinder discrimination information stored in the storage means from the engine start start time (t1) until the cylinder discrimination is completed. A correction energization period (DSOLONC) is set by adding a predetermined period (DCR) before and after, and the solenoid (45) over the correction energization period (DSOLONC). Performs energization, the predetermined period (DCR) is characterized by a one period of the minimum period of the generation cycle of the pulse signal outputted from the rotation angle position sensor (6 deg).
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the high-pressure fuel pump control device according to the first aspect, the energization control unit is configured such that when the cylinder discrimination information stored in the storage unit is lost, the rotation angle position sensor The solenoid (45) is energized from the start of acquisition of a predetermined pulse signal from (t1a, t1b) to the completion of the cylinder discrimination.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the cylinder discrimination (rotation phase discrimination) of the engine is performed based on the predetermined pulse signal output from the rotation angle position sensor, and when the cylinder discrimination is completed, the predetermined pulse is detected. The energization period of the solenoid, that is, the closing period of the fuel intake valve is controlled based on the rotation angle position detected by the signal. Thereby, the required amount of fuel is discharged from the high-pressure fuel pump. Cylinder discrimination information is stored when the engine is stopped, and is predetermined before and after the energization period set based on the stored cylinder discrimination information (rotation phase information) from the next engine start start time to the cylinder discrimination completion time. By adding the period, a correction energization period is set, and the solenoid is energized over the correction energization period. By using the cylinder discrimination information when the engine is stopped, the solenoid can be energized at an appropriate time from the start of the start. However, since the rotation angle position specified based on the predetermined pulse signal for performing cylinder determination is specified with the resolution of the minimum cycle of the predetermined pulse signal, the cylinder determination information (rotation phase information) stored at the time of stop is It includes an error for one period at maximum and minimum period. Therefore, by conducting energization over a corrected energization period to which a predetermined period corresponding to one minimum period is added before and after the normal energization period, an appropriate amount of fuel is supplied while suppressing the energization period to a necessary minimum. It becomes possible to discharge.
According to the second aspect of the present invention, when the stored cylinder discrimination information is lost, the solenoid is energized from the start of acquisition of the predetermined pulse signal from the rotation angle position sensor to the completion of cylinder discrimination. Therefore, the energization period can be shortened compared to the prior art in which energization is started from the start of starting.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a configuration of an internal combustion engine and its control device according to an embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, for example, each cylinder of an internal combustion engine (hereinafter simply referred to as “engine”) 1 having six cylinders is provided with a

The
The cam angle position sensor 11 outputs a TDC pulse signal shown in FIG. The TDC pulse signal is basically a pulse signal having a period of 720 degrees, but is configured so that an angular position every 120 degrees can be specified. The crank
The high-

Therefore, when the
The
In the present embodiment, the rotational phase information (cylinder discrimination information) specified based on the TDC pulse signal and the CRK pulse signal output immediately before stopping when the engine 1 is stopped is stored in the memory of the
CAS0=CA1 (1)
CAE0=CA1+DSOLON (2)
Specifically, as shown in the following formulas (1) and (2), the basic energization start timing CAS0 is set to the increase start timing CA1 at which the
CAS0 = CA1 (1)
CAE0 = CA1 + DSOLON (2)
CAS=CAS0−DCR (3)
CAE=CAE0+DCR (4)
When stopping the engine, not only when stopping in a state where the rotation direction is maintained, but also when stopping slightly reversely just before stopping, the rotation phase information stored at the time of stop includes an error. . Therefore, in this embodiment, the basic energization start timing CAS0 and the basic energization end timing CAE0 set by using the above formulas (1) and (2) are applied to the following formulas (3) and (4), respectively. A start time CAS and an energization end time CAE are set.
CAS = CAS0-DCR (3)
CAE = CAE0 + DCR (4)
Here, DCR is a predetermined correction period (angle), and is set to a period corresponding to the minimum period of the CRK pulse (6 degrees in the present embodiment).
By setting the energization start timing CAS and the energization end timing CAE using the equations (3) and (4), energization of the

FIG. 3C shows the position YP of the
As shown in FIG. 3C, in the present embodiment, energization of the
Further, when the rotation phase information stored in the memory is lost due to, for example, a decrease in battery voltage or battery clear due to dealer work, as shown in FIG. 4D, the time when the CRK pulse signal is first generated The
As shown in FIG. 4E, the
