Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an electronic component mounting apparatus that sucks an electronic component with a suction nozzle and mounts the electronic component on a substrate.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an electronic component mounting apparatus is equipped with a suction nozzle, equipped with a head that can move freely in an XY plane, and an electronic component that is transported to a suction area by an electronic component feeder is sucked by the suction nozzle. The head moves to the component mounting location on the board to mount the electronic component.
When the electronic component is picked up by the head, there is a problem that an electronic component picking error occurs due to variations in the picking position of the electronic component in the picking region due to the influence of gravity or predetermined vibration. It was.
The electronic component feeder includes a component tape composed of a carrier tape having a cavity region in which electronic components are arranged, and a cover tape that covers and is attached to the carrier tape. Therefore, for example, immediately before the electronic component is sucked by the suction nozzle, a through hole is formed in the cover tape facing the cavity region, and air is blown into the cavity region from the through hole so that the blown air is electronic component. An electronic component mounting apparatus is known in which the electronic component is lifted from the bottom of the cavity region and the electronic component is securely held by suction with a suction nozzle (see
Further, for example, an electronic component transferred to a location where the suction position is confirmed by the suction nozzle is photographed by a camera arranged in parallel with the suction nozzle, and is supplied to a supply location of the electronic component based on image information of the electronic component. It is known that the suction position of the suction nozzle with respect to the electronic component can be confirmed, and the error of the suction position can be corrected (see
However, when the electronic component mounting apparatus described in
An object of the present invention is to provide an electronic component mounting apparatus that can reliably adjust the suction position of a suction nozzle in an electronic component and reduce the time required for mounting the electronic component with a simple configuration.
In order to solve the above problems, an invention according to
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the electronic component mounting apparatus according to the first aspect of the present invention, the electronic component mounting apparatus includes a specifying unit that specifies a component tape that conveys an electronic component to be mounted on the substrate, A plurality of components are provided so as to supply each component, and the storage unit stores a drive pattern of the drive motor for each component tape that transports an electronic component, and the motor control unit is configured by the specifying unit. A drive pattern corresponding to the specified component tape is extracted from the storage means, and the drive motor is driven and controlled with the extracted drive pattern.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the electronic component mounting apparatus according to the first aspect, the electronic component is rubbed by the friction due to the inertia force in the direction opposite to the direction of acceleration in the transport operation acting on the electronic component. The electronic component is positioned at the end of the accommodating portion in the suction area by moving in the direction opposite to the direction in which the force is applied.
According to the present invention, the drive motor is driven so that only the inertial force of the electronic component in the component tape due to one of acceleration and deceleration in the conveying operation of the component tape overcomes the friction between the electronic component and the housing portion. By controlling the electronic component, it is possible to position the electronic component at the end of the accommodating portion in the suction region and suck the electronic component to the suction nozzle at the end. Specifically, when an electronic component is transported by a component tape, the electronic component is subjected to a frictional force by utilizing an inertial force in the direction opposite to the acceleration direction by the transport operation. It is possible to position the electronic component at the end portion of the accommodating portion in the suction region and cause the suction nozzle to suck the suction portion at the end portion. Furthermore, according to the present invention, the vibration part that contacts the lower surface of the component tape is controlled to vibrate up and down at the timing when the absolute value of the acceleration of the drive motor becomes a predetermined value or more. The influence of friction can be mitigated, and the electronic component can be moved to the end of the housing portion more reliably. Further, in the present invention, since the suction position is adjusted with the above-described configuration, a structure for blowing air is not required, and it is not necessary to perform imaging with a camera.
Therefore, it can be said that the present invention is an electronic component mounting apparatus that can reliably adjust the suction position of the suction nozzle in the electronic component and reduce the time required for mounting the electronic component with a simple configuration.
(Embodiment of the Invention)
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. Hereinafter, as illustrated, two directions orthogonal to each other on the horizontal plane are defined as an X-axis direction and a Y-axis direction, respectively. Further, a vertical direction orthogonal to these is defined as a Z-axis direction.

For example, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the
The
The
The
The

As shown in FIG. 5, the
The
The
Here, the drive pattern of the

As described above, according to the electronic
In other words, in the electronic
Therefore, it can be said that the present invention is an electronic component mounting apparatus that can reliably adjust the suction position of the suction nozzle in the electronic component and reduce the time required for mounting the electronic component with a simple configuration.
Further, according to the electronic
