また、下部濾板1aと中間濾板1b内で濾材18により濾過された濾液は、下部濾板1aと中間濾板1bの排液口1fから図示しないホースを介して濾液タンクに排出される。

1.濾過工程
図6に示すように、濾過工程が終了すると、加圧ジャッキ26により、濾板1と加圧濾過室2との隙間sに開枠され、濾材18が排出した後、閉枠状態(図7)になる。
図8に示すように、原液タンク13からポンプ13aを介して原液供給ヘッダー14と耐圧ホース15,15を介して原液が供給口8aから供給され、濾過が開始する。
2.ケーキ脱液工程
濾材18の初期においては、目詰まりがないため、どんどん原液の濾過が進み、次第に濾材18に目詰まりが起こると、濾過圧力が上昇するので、上昇したら原液供給をストップし、空気を供給口8aから入れて脱液を行う。この際ケーキ18aにクラックが入るような処理物の時は、撹拌機を回し、クラックをつぶし、空気漏れを無くすことで、脱液を促進させる。
3.リスラリ洗浄工程
ケーキ脱液が終了した後、撹拌機を回しながらシャワーノズル8bから洗浄水を入れる。洗浄水を入れ撹拌機を回すことで、ケーキ18aと洗浄水が効率良く接触し、ケーキ18a中の不純物が取り除かれる。
4.展圧・乾燥(通気)工程
ケーキ18aの攪拌・展圧により、通気乾燥での割れは潰されて割れの発生が抑えられる。
5.濾材(ケーキ)排出工程
所定の乾燥度に達すると、加圧ジャッキ26により、下部濾板1a、中間濾板1bと、各加圧濾過室2との間に隙間が開枠し、乾燥したケーキ18aが残留した濾材18が濾材エキストラクタ19の排出ロール装置19a(図8参照)により機外に引き出される。
この後は、1〜5の工程の繰り返しになり、連続して継続される。
このように、攪拌7による攪拌によりケーキ18aのクラックを潰して割れを防ぐことができること、リスラリ洗浄による十分なケーキ18a中の不純物除去が行えるので、レアメタル(希少金属)等の濾過洗浄には好適である。
