Abstract
【解決手段】 試料流体にレーザ光Laを照射して粒子検出領域13を形成し、この粒子検出領域13を通過する粒子による散乱光Lsを多分割受光素子18で受光して粒子を検出する光散乱式粒子計数器において、粒子検出領域13の位置に応じて多分割受光素子18を構成する各受光素子PD1,PD2,PD3,PD4,PD5の出力信号Pc,Pm,Peを処理するローパスフィルタF1,F2,F3,F4,F5の時定数τc,τm,τeを設定する。

Claims (2)
- 試料流体に光ビームを照射して粒子検出領域を形成し、この粒子検出領域を通過する粒子による散乱光を多分割受光素子で受光して前記粒子を検出する光散乱式粒子計数器において、前記多分割受光素子を用いることで、粒子検出領域を分割して粒子による散乱光を受光すると共に、分割された粒子検出領域のそれぞれの位置を流れる流体の流速やレーザ光のビーム径に基づいて、前記多分割受光素子を構成する各受光素子の出力信号を処理するローパスフィルタの時定数を、それぞれに応じた値に設定することを特徴とする光散乱式粒子計数器。
- 請求項1に記載の光散乱式粒子計数器において、前記粒子検出領域の中心部に対応する受光素子の出力信号を処理するローパスフィルタの時定数(τc)は、前記粒子検出領域の端部に対応する受光素子の出力信号を処理するローパスフィルタの時定数(τe)よりも小さい(τc<τe)ことを特徴とする光散乱式粒子計数器。
