Description
The present invention is a shall relates to a coaxial connector for a coaxial cable.
A coaxial cable used for high-frequency signal transmission such as an antenna line is generally a core wire as a central conductor, an insulator as a dielectric, and a metal as an external conductor, which are arranged in order from the center to the outside in the radial direction. It is composed of a tape conductor and a braid, and an outer covering or insulating sheath as an outer skin. The coaxial cable having such a configuration is provided with a coaxial connector at the terminal in order to connect to a counterpart device, a coaxial cable, or the like. The coaxial connector has a shield terminal for a coaxial cable in which the braid is grounded to a coaxial cable on the other side to block electrical noise such as electromagnetic waves and static electricity.
For example, one proposed for a terminal processing method or structure of a coaxial cable (a method or structure for connecting a coaxial cable and a coaxial connector) is to first expose the braid at the end of the coaxial cable and then loosen the exposed braid. In some cases, the work of inserting the connection conductor portion of the coaxial connector into the gap between the loose braid and the metal tape conductor (or insulator) inside the braid is performed. Next, an operation of caulking a metal sleeve that is separate from the coaxial cable and the coaxial connector at the position of the exposed braid is performed. By caulking the metal sleeve, the coaxial cable and the coaxial connector are electrically and mechanically connected (for example, see Patent Document 1).
In order to prevent the cross-sectional contours of the insulator and the outer conductor from being deformed from the concentric state, in other words, in order to satisfy the high-frequency characteristics, the above-mentioned terminal treatment structure has a braid and a metal tape conductor (or insulation break) inside it. The connection conductor portion of the coaxial connector is inserted into the gap between the two. Such a connection structure also aims to satisfy a predetermined tensile strength of the coaxial cable and the coaxial connector.
By the way, in the said terminal processing structure, in order to insert the connection conductor part of a coaxial connector inside the braid of a coaxial cable, the operation | work which loosens the braid after exposing in the terminal of a coaxial cable is needed. Therefore, the conventional terminal processing structure has a problem in workability because it requires troublesome work.
In addition, the terminal processing structure requires manufacturing and work of preparing and attaching a metal sleeve that is a separate body from the coaxial cable and the coaxial connector. Therefore, the terminal processing structure has a problem that the number of parts increases and a problem in workability. In solving the problem related to the number of parts, it is necessary to consider to satisfy the predetermined tensile strength of the coaxial cable and the coaxial connector.
Patent Document 2 below discloses a technique for solving the above-described problems. A brief description is given below.
In FIG. 11, when the connecting
In the state where the coaxial cable 6 is formed, the connecting
When the

If a force is applied in the pulling direction of the

In the figure, reference numeral 2 is a core wire, 11 is a dielectric, 12 is a shield terminal dried body, 13 is a crimping portion, and 17 is a base portion of the crimping
In the technique disclosed in Patent Document 2, the terminal hooking portion 7 of the coaxial cable 6 is configured to prevent the movement of the
That is, the terminal catching portion 7 is a bulge of the insulating sheath 5 made of synthetic resin, and the
On the other hand, as described in Patent Document 3, when a coaxial cable is used, the coaxial cable is prevented from coming out of the shield terminal when a force is applied to a connection portion with the shield terminal by being pulled strongly. Since it is necessary to increase the fixing force of the coaxial cable, for example, it is conceivable to strongly crimp the shield terminal and strongly press the coaxial cable. However, the inner wall of the coaxial cable is generally made of a flexible material such as polyethylene. If the crimping force is excessively increased, the flexible insulator will be crushed. There is a limit to the adhesion force.
Therefore, the invention described in Patent Document 3 is a cable having a braided wire without adversely affecting the lower layer of the braided wire when connecting a cable having a braided wire like an insulator of a coaxial cable to an outer conductor terminal. For the purpose of providing an outer conductor terminal and a shield connector capable of improving the adhering force to the outer conductor terminal, a mesh-shaped knurled groove is provided in the outer conductor terminal on the inner surface side of the braided wire crimping portion of the wire barrel, It has been proposed to match the mesh angle of the knurled groove with the braid angle of the braided wire.
According to the outer conductor terminal and the shield connector according to the invention described in Patent Document 3, the braided wire easily enters the knurled groove by matching the mesh angle of the knurled groove with the braided angle of the braided wire. Therefore, when connecting the coaxial cable having the braided wire to the outer conductor terminal, it is considered possible to improve the fixing force with the coaxial cable having the braided wire without adversely affecting the lower layer of the braided wire. ing. In addition, since the adhesive strength between the braided wire and the outer conductor terminal can be increased without crushing the insulator such as a coaxial cable, the insulation and shielding properties do not deteriorate, and the high frequency characteristics and electrical reliability are good. It is thought that a simple connection can be made.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and the object thereof is to realize not only damage that is difficult to damage, and to obtain high tensile strength, but also to apply force in the direction in which the coaxial cable comes out. also capable of reliably preventing the fraying the tip of the braided wire, the invention is to provide a connector for a coaxial cable.

In order to solve the problem of the structure described in Patent Document 2, the same applicant as the present application previously filed an invention entitled “Coaxial Cable Terminal Processing Structure” as Japanese Patent Application No. 2007-212245. The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and provides a terminal processing structure for a coaxial cable that realizes a catching force that is difficult to damage, obtains a high tensile strength, and can improve reliability. The challenge is to do.
The coaxial cable terminal processing structure of the invention according to Japanese Patent Application No. 2007-212245, which was made to solve this problem, was separated after peeling or peeling the middle of the insulating sheath in the coaxial cable in the circumferential direction. And pulling the insulation sheath to the other insulation sheath, and forming the annular projecting braided portion by projecting the braid from the end of the other insulating sheath to the outside in the radial direction in association with the drawing, Thereafter, the annular projecting braided portion is bent from its base and overlapped on the one insulating sheath to form a folded braided portion, and the folded braided portion is connected to the end of the coaxial cable. In addition to the crimping connection by the braided crimping portion of the connector for the connector, the other insulating sheath that is in the vicinity of the terminal hook portion formed at the base of the bent braided portion, Serial is characterized by crimping fixes the sheath crimping portion of the coaxial cable connector.

In FIG. 1,
The
The
First, formation of the annular projecting
Next, as shown in FIG. 5, one insulating
In the state in which the annular projecting
As can be seen from FIGS. 1, 5, and 6, the

When forming the annular projecting
1 and 8, the
The crimping
The pair of braided crimping
Next, a procedure related to terminal processing of the
In FIG. 2, first, the
Next, the
Finally, as shown in FIG. 8, when the dielectric 27 is slid backward and the tip of the
As described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 8, according to the terminal processing of the
The present invention can be implemented in various forms. For example, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 9, rather than bending the annular projecting
In this modified embodiment, since the
The
In addition, this invention is not limited to embodiment mentioned above, A deformation | transformation, improvement, etc. are possible suitably. In addition, the material, shape, dimensions, number, location, and the like of each component in the above-described embodiment are arbitrary and are not limited as long as the present invention can be implemented.
