Description
The present invention relates to a connector.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a connector configured by assembling a base housing and a cover housing, for example, a connector described in Patent Document 1 below is known. The base housing is equipped with a terminal fitting that has a pressure contact blade. By press-fitting a plurality of wires into the terminal fitting, the sheath is shaved by the pressure contact blade so that the core wire and the pressure contact blade can conduct. Connected. The plurality of electric wires are arranged in parallel to the base housing, and a wall portion that partitions the adjacent terminal fittings by assembling the cover housing to the base housing is provided on the cover housing. Further, the cover housing is provided with a lock piece, and the base housing is provided with a protrusion that engages with the lock piece, and the cover housing is assembled to the base housing by engaging the lock piece with the protrusion. Locked to state.
However, since the lock end is configured such that the free end can swing and displace with the base end as a fulcrum, the lock end rides on the protrusion while the free end swings and displaces. As a result, a gap is always formed between the free end of the lock piece and the protrusion. Due to this gap, a gap is also formed between the wall portion and the base housing, so that there is a possibility that terminal metal fittings may be short-circuited by contamination of iron powder or the like entering the gap.
This invention is completed based on the above situations, Comprising: It aims at preventing the short circuit between adjacent terminal metal fittings.
The present invention is fixedly attached to the inside of the metal case, the oil is a connector that are used in an environment to adhere the base housing, is connected to the wire connecting portion and the mating terminal wire is connected A plurality of terminal fittings that are formed in an L shape by the terminal connection portion, the terminal connection portion penetrates the base housing and the wire connection portion is arranged in parallel with the base housing, and are assembled to the base housing so as to cover the wire connection portion. Cover housing, a lock receiving portion provided on the base housing, and a cover receiving portion that is provided on the cover housing so that a clearance is formed between the lock receiving portion and the lock receiving portion when the elastic recovery is achieved while drawing a swinging locus. and is in the, and, in a state in which the cover housing is assembled to the base housing by interlocking portions and the locking A locking portion, and a wall portion that is provided so as to project from one of the base housing and the cover housing to the other housing, and is disposed between the adjacent electric wire connecting portions along the electric wire connecting portion. The other housing is provided at a position corresponding to the wall portion, and the wall portion is press-fitted , thereby restricting that iron powder mixed with oil enters between adjacent wire connection portions and short-circuits them, In addition, the present invention is characterized in that the cover housing includes a groove portion that is fixed to the base housing in a state where there is no rattling due to the gap .
According to such a configuration, the cover housing is assembled to the base housing, and the cover portion is locked to the lock receiving portion to lock the cover housing in a state assembled to the base housing. In parallel with this, the wall portion is press-fitted into the groove portion, thereby preventing a gap from being formed between adjacent wire connection portions. Therefore, a short circuit between adjacent terminal fittings can be prevented.
The following configuration is preferable as an embodiment of the present invention.
The wall portion and the groove portion have sliding contact surfaces that are in sliding contact with each other by press-fitting, and a notch portion is formed by notching a base end side of the wall portion in one housing in the press-fitting direction, and an opening edge of the groove portion is formed in the notch portion. It is good also as a structure by which the sliding contact surface is expanded in the press injection direction by making a part approach.
According to such a configuration, since the sliding contact surface is expanded in the press-fitting direction, the frictional resistance generated on the sliding contact surface is increased, and the fixing force between the cover housing and the base housing can be increased. Moreover, since the creepage distance between adjacent electric wire connection parts becomes long because the slidable contact surface is expanded, the effect of preventing a short circuit can be improved.
A groove part is good also as a structure arrange | positioned in the alignment direction center of the electric wire connection part in a base housing.
According to such a structure, since the groove part is arrange | positioned in the center of a base housing, a cover housing can be assembled | attached with a sufficient precision with respect to a base housing. That is, even if there is a molding error in the base housing, the molding error is dispersed on both sides of the groove, and both housings can be accurately positioned.
The cover housing may be configured separately from the base housing.
According to such a configuration, since the cover housing and the base housing can be handled separately, there is no need to assemble an electric wire to the base housing before the terminal connection portion is press-fitted into the base housing.
According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent a short circuit between adjacent terminal fittings.
<Embodiment>
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings of FIGS. As shown in FIG. 3, the
As illustrated in FIG. 5, the
As shown in FIG. 5, the
The
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 8, the terminal connecting
The
As shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of
As shown in FIG. 1, a pair of
An
As shown in FIG. 1, the
A
Now, since the free end (lower end) of the
For this reason, as shown in FIG. 6, in this embodiment, a
As shown in FIG. 1, the
Further, as shown in FIG. 6, a pair of
Moreover, since the
By the way, on the upper surface of the
On the other hand, a
As shown in FIG. 3, the
The present embodiment is configured as described above, and its operation will be described subsequently. When assembling the
Next, the
Subsequently, the
At this time, as shown in FIG. 6, since the
Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the
As described above, in the present embodiment, since the press-fitting structure of the
