Description
The present invention provides a wood perforation that deeply drills a large number of pores in a wood for the purpose of improving the permeability inside the wood and satisfactorily impregnating the wood with a treatment agent such as a preservative or a synthetic resin. Regarding the method.
Improving permeability to wood is important for quickly discharging moisture and gas inside the wood. In addition, for the purpose of improving various performances such as durability, such as weather resistance, water resistance, antiseptic properties, insect repellent properties, light resistance, dimensional stability, mechanical strength, flame resistance, and design properties, preservatives, It is also important for satisfactorily impregnating wood with various treatment agents such as an anti-anticide, resin, and dye. As a processing means for that purpose, for example, as in
Therefore, it is effective to drill a large number of deep pores as means for accurately improving the permeability of the entire cross section of the wood including the center of the wood. As means for drilling deep pores in wood, for example, a method using a laser or a water jet can be considered. However, when a laser is used, it is difficult to control the perforation depth, and there are problems such that the diameter of the hole is different between the surface layer side and the deepest part, and the periphery of the hole is burnt. Even when a water jet is used, it is difficult to control the drilling depth, the processing speed is slow, and the wood gets wet. Therefore, in order to drill deep pores in wood, it is preferable to use a drill that is generally used as a wood processing method.
For example,
As described above, in
Further, as one of the problems when drilling fine holes in wood with a drill, there is a drill defect, that is, the durability of the drill. In particular, when a material having a large density difference between early and late materials, such as cedar and larch, is drilled with a small diameter drill, as shown in FIG. Will be deformed, and the drill will be easily broken due to the accumulation of bending fatigue. In order to prevent the drill from being broken, it is conceivable to increase the rigidity or to bend easily. Here, in
Therefore, the present inventors paid attention to the bending of the drill as a means for preventing a drill defect when drilling deep pores, and as a result of intensive studies, the amount of protrusion of the drill, the drill diameter, and the drilling depth As a result, the present invention has been completed. Specifically, the defect caused by the bending fatigue of the drill can improve the durability in almost all tree species by defining the protruding length of the drill. Further, the stickiness against bending differs depending on the diameter of the drill, and basically, a thinner drill tends to improve durability. Therefore, the protruding length of the drill can be defined by the drilling depth and the drill diameter.
In addition, there is a problem of missing joints as a factor of deformation of the drill. As shown in FIG. 9, the
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for drilling wood, in which drills having a small diameter are not easily lost when drilling a large number of deep pores in wood, and drilling can be performed efficiently.
ah(4√d)・・・(1)
The present invention relates to a method for drilling a wood in which a large number of pores are drilled in the wood using a drill in order to improve the permeability inside the wood, and the diameter of the drill is 1.0 to 2.5 mm. The protrusion length of the drill from the holding portion that fits and holds the upper end portion of the drill is set to a drilling depth h and a drill diameter d ah ( 4 √d) (1)
The coefficient a in the equation (1) is 1.20 or more.
E=(△P・L3)/(48・I・△y)
△y=(△P・L3)/(48・I・E)
I=πd4/64
In the present invention, attention is paid to “easy to bend” which is difficult to break even if the drill is deformed. It can be said that the bending Young's modulus E for quantifying the deformation (bending) with respect to the load is higher as the rigidity is higher and lower as the bending Young's modulus E is lower. When the load is ΔP, the distance between the supporting points supporting the load is L, the moment of inertia of the cross section is I, and the deformation is Δy, the bending Young's modulus E is
E = (ΔP · L 3 ) / (48 · I · Δy)
Defined by Therefore, the deformation amount Δy at the load ΔP is
Δy = (ΔP · L 3 ) / (48 · I · E)
It becomes. If the object to be processed is the same, the bending Young's modulus E and the fulcrum distance L are constant. Therefore, in order to increase the deformation amount Δy when processing the same wood, it is necessary to reduce the cross-sectional secondary moment I. Even if the load ΔP is increased, the deformation amount Δy is increased, but if the load is increased, the load on the drill also increases, so that the possibility of the drill being lost increases. Here, the cross-sectional secondary moment I of the circular cross-section is expressed as follows.
I = πd 4/64
Defined by That is, since the cross-sectional secondary moment I influences the value by the fourth power of the diameter d, the fourth power root of the diameter d is one of the parameters for determining the projecting length of the drill. Further, since the amount of flexure that is proportional to the drilling depth h, the basic relational expression defining the projecting length of the drill becomes h (4 √d). By multiplying this by a predetermined coefficient a, the required protrusion length of the drill is determined with respect to the drilling depth h and the drill diameter d. From various data, it has been derived that the coefficient a in the equation (1) needs to be 1.20 or more in order to make it difficult to lose a small direct drill.
In addition, as long as the protrusion length of the drill is based on the above formula (1), the drill is difficult to break even if the drill diameter is in the range of 1.0 to 2.5 mm. The drill diameter d is preferably 1.0 to 1.6 mm.
The drill and the wood can be moved relative to each other in the plane direction (XY direction) by relative moving means, and the drill can be moved up and down in the Z direction by lifting means. The relative movement means and the lifting / lowering means are controlled by the control means, whereby the drilling position and the number of holes, that is, the drilling pattern is controlled. When the drill and the wood move relative to each other in the plane direction, the wood moves relative to the drill that does not move in the plane direction, the drill moves relative to the wood that does not move in the plane direction, or the drill And the case where both wood and wood can move in the plane direction. The processed surface of the wood conveyed by the conveying means detects whether or not there is a knot generated by dropping a dead node by the knot detecting means, and the knot detecting means detects the knot. Is detected, based on the detection signal, the control means can control the drill not to descend at the gap portion.
It is preferable that a plurality of the drills are arranged in parallel along the longitudinal direction of the wood. In this case, basically, all the drills may be moved up and down at the same time, but it is preferable that each drill can be moved up and down independently. In addition, it is preferable to control so that only the drill corresponding to the gap portion does not descend against the movement of other drills.
Each of the plurality of drills can be installed in a plurality of holders arranged in parallel in the axial direction of an attachment arm arranged in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the wood. In this case, by appropriately changing the position where the drills are installed in the holder, the interval and the number of installed drills can be arbitrarily set.
According to the present invention, since a large number of pores are formed in the wood, the permeability inside the wood is improved. Thereby, the water | moisture content and gas inside a timber can be discharged | emitted rapidly. Further, when the wood is impregnated with various treatment agents, it can be penetrated well and evenly through the pores. If various treatment agents are impregnated, various performances such as durability and mechanical strength in wood can be improved. In addition, if the pores are drilled with a drill, the drilling depth can be increased as compared with the conventional insizing process, and the permeability can be accurately improved over the entire cross section including the center of the wood. If the diameter of the drill, that is, the pore diameter is made as small as 1.0 to 2.5 mm, the number of perforations can be increased and the permeability can be efficiently improved while avoiding the decrease in the strength of the wood. Furthermore, if the projection length of the drill is determined by the equation (1) with respect to the drilling depth h and the drill diameter d and the coefficient a in the equation (1) is 1.20 or more, the drill can be effectively bent. It is easy to break, and even when drilled with a small diameter drill, it is difficult to break. That is, the durability of the drill is improved. If the diameter of the drill is 1.0 to 1.6 mm, the durability of the drill is further improved.
If the relative moving means and the lifting / lowering means are controlled by the control means, the drilling pattern can be easily set by a predetermined program set in the control means. In addition, if control is performed so that the drill is not lowered at the gap portion, the drill portion is not perforated, and the drill can be prevented from being lost.
If a plurality of drills are arranged side by side along the longitudinal direction of the wood, the processing time can be shortened. If each drill can be moved up and down independently and only the drill corresponding to the cutout portion is controlled so as not to descend against the movement of other drills, drilling should be performed while drilling at the portion to be drilled. Since the drilling is not performed only in the non-excluded portion, it is possible to accurately avoid the defect of the drill while maintaining the processing efficiency.
If the interval and the number of installed drills can be arbitrarily set by changing the installation position of the drills in the holder, the drilling pattern is further increased than the drilling pattern based only on programming set in the control device. Can increase the degree of freedom. Since the permeability of wood varies depending on the species and parts, the benefits of expanding the flexibility of drilling patterns are great. Further, if the interval between the drills can be arbitrarily set, the range of relative movement in the length direction by the control device can be reduced, and the machining efficiency is improved.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings as appropriate. However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. In the present invention, in order to improve the permeability inside the wood, a large number of pores are drilled in the wood using a drill. Each pore serves as a passage for quickly discharging moisture and gas inside the wood. It also serves as a permeation hole for uniformly impregnating the whole wood with various treatment agents. Examples of the treating agent include antiseptics, anti-anticides, resins, flame retardants, dyes, and pigments. When impregnated with an antiseptic, the antiseptic property is improved, when impregnated with an anti-bacterial agent, the insect-proof property (ant-proof property) is improved, and when impregnated with a flame retardant, the flame retardant property is improved. The effect of impregnating with resin is great, and durability such as weather resistance, water resistance, and light resistance, mechanical strength, flame resistance, and dimensional stability when pressed (consolidation processing) as necessary improves. Dyes and pigments are used to color wood and improve the design. These various treatment agents may be impregnated with only one kind, or may be impregnated with two or more kinds. The treating agent is impregnated into the wood as a solution dissolved in water or an organic solvent or in the state of a dispersion dispersed in a solvent such as water.
Examples of the resin to be impregnated include thermosetting resins such as phenol resins, epoxy resins, melamine resins, urea resins, amino resins, glyoxal resins, polyurethane resins, polyacryl urethane resins, and resorcinol resins. It is done. Plant-derived ligrin can also be used. Among these, phenol resins, amino resins, and glyoxal resins that can obtain good dimensional stability are preferable. Furthermore, a low molecular weight water-soluble phenol resin having a molecular weight of about 150 to 300 is most preferable. This is because the low-molecular water-soluble phenol resin has high permeability. As preservatives and ant protection agents, organic compounds such as phenols, inorganic fluorides, alkylammonium compounds, copper and azole compounds, inorganic fixing types such as polydene salts and grin salts, borons such as borax, A triazole type, a pyrethroid type, etc. are mentioned. Of these, water-soluble phenols / inorganic fluorides, alkylammonium compounds, organic compounds such as copper / azole compounds, inorganic fixing types such as polydene salts and grine salts, and borons such as borax are preferred.
The form of the wood to be processed is not particularly limited, and may be any material that requires drilling, such as laminated wood, LVL (single plate laminate), plywood, or solid wood. The shape is preferably a square or plate having a certain length.
The pores are entirely drilled over the plane direction of the wood. This is to avoid uneven distribution of the permeability and the amount of treatment agent impregnation, and to homogenize the whole wood. The pores are preferably drilled in the thickness direction perpendicular to the fiber direction of the wood. Each pore may be a through-hole extending over both end surfaces in the thickness direction of the wood, or may be a non-through-hole. When each pore is a non-through hole, it is preferable to drill as deeply as possible. This is because the effect of drilling with a drill can be maximized, and the permeability in the entire cross-sectional direction (thickness direction) of the wood including the center can be improved. Specifically, the pore length (drilling depth) with respect to the thickness of the wood is at least 50% or more, preferably 80% or more, more preferably 90% or more.
It is preferable that the number of pores be as large as possible within a range in which the strength is not significantly reduced. Therefore, it is preferable that the diameter of each pore is as small as possible as long as the permeability is not hindered. Specifically, the diameter of each pore is set to 1.0 to 2.5 mm. When the pore diameter is less than 1.0 mm, good permeability cannot be obtained, and water drainage and treatment agent permeability are deteriorated. If the pore diameter exceeds 2.5 mm, the strength of the wood will be greatly reduced. Also, considering the strength of the wood, the number of perforations cannot be increased. The perforation pattern of the pores may be irregular but is preferably arranged regularly. This is because it can be homogenized accurately while avoiding biases such as permeability.
Next, a drilling apparatus for drilling a plurality of pores in wood will be described. As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the
In the present embodiment, the relative movement means is configured as a mechanism that horizontally slides the processing table 12 on the base 11 freely in the plane direction (XY direction). That is, the
As the control means, numerical control (NC control Numerical Control) for instructing a machining operation as numerical position information as absolute position information is employed. That is, the
The
ah(4√d)・・・(1)

Determined by the relational expression. At this time, the coefficient a in the equation (1) is 1.20 or more. As long as the relationship of Formula (1) is satisfied, the protrusion length H, the drilling depth h, and the diameter d of the
Returning to FIGS. 1 and 2, the mounting
Further, on the left and right sides of the perforating
Next, a procedure for drilling a plurality of pores in the
More specifically, when the
When the
<Drill durability test>
First, the influence on the durability of the drill and the degree of durability were tested and evaluated by the difference in the drill protrusion length H with respect to the drilling depth h and the drill diameter d. Using a cedar board air-drying material with a thickness of 45 mm as the test wood, various drills with diameters of 1.0 mm, 1.3 mm, 1.6 mm, 1.9 mm, and 2.2 mm are used to project in stages. While changing the length, pores were drilled at a drilling depth of 42 mm. The processing conditions were a drill speed of 10,000 rpm and a feed rate of 0.4 mm / rev. Protruding length of the drill, the basic h (4 √d), and the protruding length obtained by the calculation formula having different coefficients a. The result is shown in FIG.
From the result of FIG. 5, the durability of the drill was high regardless of the size of the drill diameter by setting the protrusion length of the drill to the coefficient a in the above formula (1) of 1.20 or more. It was also found that in the range where the coefficient a is 1.20 or more, the durability of the drill is almost flat, and the upper limit of the coefficient a is not particularly specified. On the contrary, when the protrusion length is less than 1.20, the durability is drastically reduced.
Next, the test was evaluated for the relationship between the diameter of the drill and the durability. The test wood here was also made of cedar plate air-drying material having a thickness of 45 mm, and fine holes were drilled at a drilling depth of 42 mm using various drills having different diameters. The protruding length here was constant at 55 mm. The result is shown in FIG.
From the results shown in FIG. 6, the durability was good when the drill diameter was in the range of 1.0 to 1.6 mm. On the other hand, when the drill diameter is less than 1.0 mm or exceeds 1.6 mm, good durability cannot be obtained.
