Description
The present invention relates to a power supply device.
An assembled battery in which a plurality of secondary batteries are connected has an advantage that a high voltage, a large current, and a large power can be easily obtained compared to a single battery. For this reason, such an assembled battery is practically used as a power storage means in a hybrid vehicle, an electric vehicle, a hybrid railway vehicle, a UPS, and the like. The characteristics of each secondary battery constituting the assembled battery have variations that occur during manufacturing. Therefore, when using the assembled battery, it is necessary to monitor the state of each battery and measure whether the voltage or the like is within a predetermined range.
In order to correctly grasp the state of each secondary battery constituting the assembled battery, it is necessary to measure the current flowing in the secondary battery and the voltage of the secondary battery at the same timing. In particular, in automobile applications and the like, the current flowing through the secondary battery may change rapidly, so the simultaneity requirement is severe. For example, Patent Literature 1 describes a battery monitoring device that provides a signal line for connecting a host controller and each individual voltage detection means to instruct voltage measurement timing.
The battery monitoring device described in Patent Document 1 has a problem that when the number of battery modules increases, the number of signal lines and insulating elements connected to the individual voltage detecting means increases, and the circuit scale increases.
The invention according to claim 1 includes a plurality of battery state measuring means corresponding to the assembled power storage means in which a plurality of power storage means are connected in series, and each of the plurality of battery state measuring means responds to the control signal. Measuring means for measuring the state of one or more power storage means among the plurality of power storage means, control signal transmission means for outputting the control signal input to the first input terminal to the first output terminal, and second A measurement result signal transmission means for creating a new measurement result signal based on the measurement result signal and the measurement result of the measurement means in response to the measurement result signal being input to the input terminal and outputting the measurement result signal to the second output terminal; The plurality of battery state measuring means are daisy chain connected by the first input terminal and the first output terminal, and daisy chain connected by the second input terminal and the second output terminal . For measuring means And an abnormality detecting means for detecting an abnormality of the power storage means based on the result of the measurement, and the control signal transmitting means replaces the control signal from the first output terminal when the abnormality detecting means detects the abnormality of the power storage means. The power supply apparatus further comprises switching means for outputting an abnormality signal indicating that an abnormality has been detected .
According to the present invention, an increase in circuit scale can be suppressed as compared with the conventional art.
(First embodiment)
A power supply device according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described. This power supply device is a vehicle-mounted power supply device used for driving a vehicular rotating electrical machine.
FIG. 1 is a block diagram illustrating a configuration of the power supply device according to the first embodiment. The power supply device 1 supplies DC power to a load (for example, an inverter device) connected to the
The power supply device 1 includes an assembled
A
Battery state measuring
The
The
The
FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the battery state measuring instrument. Battery state measuring instruments 3A to 3N all have the same configuration as battery
Each battery
The data signal
The
As described above, the control signal
The
In the present embodiment, a signal is transmitted in order from the battery state measuring device 3A having the highest reference potential to the battery
The
FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating waveforms of the data signal and the control signal. The data signal and the control signal are composed of a
When there is no communication, the signal levels of the data signal
A
A plurality of
An
The signal input to the
When the input signal data includes a control command, the
The
Specific contents of state measurement by the
The
Examples of data added to the data signal by the
The
The result of the abnormality diagnosis is stored in the
Apart from the various types of abnormality diagnosis by the
The
According to the power supply device according to the first embodiment described above, the following operational effects can be obtained.
(1) Each of the battery state measuring instruments 3A to 3N includes a measuring circuit that measures the state of one or a plurality of
(2) The
(3) The
(4) When the

(Second Embodiment)
The power supply device according to the second embodiment has the same configuration as the power supply device according to the first embodiment, except for the battery state measuring instruments 3A to 3N and the assembled
FIG. 4 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the battery state measuring instrument according to the second embodiment. Battery state measuring devices 3A to 3N of the present embodiment are battery
In the battery
As described above, in order to output a positive potential for the battery
According to the power supply device according to the second embodiment described above, in addition to the operational effects obtained with the power supply device according to the first embodiment, the following operational effects are obtained.
(1) The battery
(Third embodiment)
The power supply device according to the third embodiment has the same configuration as that of the power supply device according to the first embodiment except for the battery state measuring instruments 3A to 3N. The same circuits and devices as those of the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted.
FIG. 5 is a block diagram showing a configuration of a battery state measuring instrument according to the third embodiment. The battery state measuring devices 3A to 3N of the present embodiment are the battery
The switching
FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating a waveform of an abnormal signal. The switching
According to the power supply device according to the third embodiment described above, in addition to the operational effects obtained with the power supply device according to the first embodiment, the following operational effects are obtained.
(1) The battery
(2) The
(3) The

Some control signals that allow some transmission delay may be transmitted through the data signal
