Description

The present invention relates to a method for knitting a knitted fabric that uses a flat knitting machine to join the front and rear knitted fabric portions while binding the stitches at the ends in the wale direction of the respective knitted fabric portions locked to the front and back needle beds. And a knitted fabric obtained by the knitting method.

When a knitted fabric is knitted with a flat knitting machine, a bind-off processing can be given as a method of processing so that the stitch of the final course of the knitted fabric (the stitch at the end portion in the wale direction) cannot be unraveled. The bind off process is a process in which the adjacent stitches are overlapped in the final course of the knitted fabric, and the knitted fabric that forms the stitches of the next course after the overlapped double stitches (multiple stitches) is formed. This is a process that is repeated from one end side to the other end side in the knitting width direction.

By the way, when the front and rear knitted fabric portions are knitted by the front and rear needle beds, the front and rear knitted fabric portions are also bound together while performing the bind-off process. For example, in Patent Document 1, the front knitted fabric portion is knitted on the front needle bed, and the rear needle bed is rearward using a yarn feeder located on the rear needle bed side with respect to the yarn feeder used for knitting the front knitted fabric portion. When the knitted fabric portions are knitted and the front and rear knitted fabric portions are bound together, the needle beds to be fed from each yarn feeder are replaced. By doing so, the knitting yarn fed from the front yarn feeder to the rear needle bed and the knitting yarn fed from the rear yarn feeder to the front needle bed are intertwined, and the front and rear knitted fabric portions are bound. It is bound while being processed.

Japanese Examined Patent Publication No. 7-65258

However, in the technique of Patent Document 1, since the knitting yarn of one knitted fabric portion is knitted into the other knitted fabric portion, the respective knitting yarns forming the knitted fabric portions before and after joining are knitted yarns having different appearances (shapes). If you have a different or knitting yarn color), the braided knitting yarn becomes conspicuous. In particular, when the colors of the knitting yarns used in the front and back knitted fabric portions are different, as shown in FIG. 4, a blur that mixes the colors of the knitting yarn occurs at the boundary between the front and back knitted fabric portions, and the appearance of the knitted fabric is impaired. There is a fear.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances. The knitting yarn of one knitted fabric portion is not knitted into the other knitted fabric portion, and the stitches of the front and back knitted fabric portions are joined while being bound. An object of the present invention is to provide a knitting method of knitted fabrics that can be combined, and a knitted fabric knitted by applying the knitting method.

The knitting method of the knitted fabric of the present invention comprises a flat knitting machine having at least a pair of front and back needle beds and capable of transferring the stitches locked to the knitting needles of the needle beds to another knitting needle. The present invention relates to a knitting method of a knitted fabric that joins the front and rear knitted fabric portions while processing the bind-off of each knitted fabric portion locked to the floor. The knitting method of the knitted fabric of the present invention includes a front knitted fabric portion that is locked to the front needle bed using a rear yarn feeder positioned on the rear needle bed side, and a front yarn feeder positioned on the front needle bed side. The following steps 1 to 3 are performed in the process of knitting the rear knitted fabric portion that is locked to the rear needle bed.
[1] Continuing the stitches of the front knitted fabric portion in a state where the knitting yarn extending from the rear yarn feeder to the front knitted fabric portion and the knitting yarn extending from the front yarn feeder to the rear knitted fabric portion are entangled with each other. A step of newly knitting the stitch α with the knitting yarn from the rear yarn feeder and newly knitting the new stitch β following the stitch of the rear knitted fabric portion with the knitting yarn from the front yarn feeder.
[2] A step of superimposing the stitch α on the front knitted fabric portion adjacent to the stitch α as the bind-off stitch and superimposing the stitch β on the back knitted fabric portion adjacent to the stitch β on the stitch β.
[3] A step of newly forming a stitch following the double stitch.

Moreover, as one form of the knitting method of the knitted fabric of the present invention, the direction in which the bind off is sequentially formed in the longitudinal direction of the needle bed is the bind off direction, the direction opposite to the bind off direction, and the part in which the bind off starts to be formed It is preferable that the knitting method of the knitted fabric of the present invention includes the following steps A to C when the direction toward the starting direction is the starting direction.
[A] A stitch row composed of one or more stitches including a stitch at an end portion in a starting end direction in the front and rear knitted fabric portions by moving both yarn feeders in the bind-off direction with one front and rear yarn feeders leading and the other following. The process of forming a new stitch row subsequent to.
[B] A new stitch row including the stitch α following each stitch row formed in step A while moving both yarn feeders in the starting end direction while maintaining the relationship between the preceding and following in step A. And forming a new stitch row including the stitch β.
[C] A step of transferring each stitch row in the bind-off direction so that the stitches α and β at the end in the bind-off direction among the stitch rows formed in the process B become bind-off.
[D] A step of repeating the knitting of the steps A to C.

On the other hand, the knitted fabric of the present invention has at least a pair of front and back needle beds, and the front side knitted using a flat knitting machine capable of transferring the stitches locked to the knitting needles of the needle beds to another knitting needle. This relates to a knitted fabric in which a part of the waling direction end of the knitted fabric part and a part of the waling direction end of the rear knitted fabric part are joined together. The knitted fabric according to the present invention includes a front base stitch of the front knitted fabric portion, a front bind-off stitch formed immediately after the front base knitted stitch by a knitting yarn forming the front knitted fabric portion, and a rear knitted fabric portion. A side base stitch and a back bind-off formed immediately after the rear base stitch by a knitting yarn forming a rear knitted fabric portion. In the knitted fabric of the present invention, the knitting yarn that directly connects the front base stitch and the front bind and the knitting yarn that directly connects the rear base stitch and the back bind are entangled so as to cross each other. Features.

According to the knitting method of the knitted fabric of the present invention, when the front and rear knitted fabric portions are bound together, the knitting yarn of one knitted fabric portion is not knitted into the other knitted fabric portion. Therefore, in the knitted fabric according to the method of the present invention, the bleeding of the stitch as seen in the knitted fabric knitted by the conventional binding method does not occur.

According to the knitting method of the knitted fabric of the present invention including the knitting steps A to C, after securing the length in the wale direction by reciprocating knitting, the stitches to be bound are transferred in the bind off direction, so that the transfer has been performed. The part including the stitch does not appear to be convulsed in the direction of the bind-off. Further, according to this knitting method, since the knitting yarns are entangled at both ends of the reciprocating knitting, the binding of the front and rear knitted fabric portions is strong and the bound portions do not open.

It is a knitting process figure of the knitted fabric which concerns on embodiment. It is a partial enlarged photograph of the knitted fabric which concerns on embodiment. It is the knitting process schematic diagram of the knitted fabric which concerns on a modification. It is the elements on larger scale of the knitted fabric knitted by the knitting method of the conventional knitted fabric.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Each of the knitting described in the embodiment is a transfer jack bed (for example, a transfer jack bed for transferring a stitch locked to a knitting needle of a needle bed and a pair of front and rear needle beds that extend in the left-right direction and face each other in the front-rear direction. An example of knitting using a two-bed flat knitting machine having a patent No. 3000461) will be described. Even in a two-bed flat knitting machine that does not include a transfer jack bed, the knitting of this embodiment can be performed by providing a transfer empty needle. Of course, the flat knitting machine to be used may be a four-bed flat knitting machine.

[First Embodiment]
In 1st Embodiment, as shown to S1 of FIG. 1, the front side knitted fabric part 20F latched by a front needle bed (henceforth FB), and the rear side latched by a rear needle bed (henceforth BB). An example in which the knitted fabric portion 20B is joined while performing the bind off process will be described. “S + number” described in the left column of FIG. 1 to be referred to indicates the number of the knitting process, and the arrow described in the right column indicates the moving direction of the yarn feeder. Here, in the right column, the yarn feeder shown at the top is the leading, and the yarn feeder shown below is the following. In FIG. 1, ○ is a stitch that is locked to the needle bed, ● is a stitch that is knitted in each knitting step, ◎ is a double stitch, ▽ is a front yarn feeder, and ▼ is a rear yarn feeder Show. Further, in FIG. 1, since the bind-off process starts to be formed from the left side of the page and the bind-off process is sequentially performed toward the right side, the right direction of the page is referred to as the “bound direction RS”, and the left direction of the page is referred to as the “starting edge”. Called “direction LS”. Note that the manner of viewing the described diagram is the same as in FIG. 3 described later.

In S1 of FIG. 1, the front knitted fabric portion 20F is knitted with the knitting yarn from the rear yarn feeder, the rear knitted fabric portion 20B is knitted with the knitting yarn from the front yarn feeder, and at the left end in the knitting width direction, The state where the knitting yarns from both yarn feeders intersect is shown. Both knitting yarns differ not only in the yarn feeder serving as the supply source but also in the color. As shown below, the front and rear knitted fabric portions 20F and 20B are joined from the state of S1 while performing the bind off process.

First, in S2, the rear yarn feeder is moved ahead in the bind-off direction RS to form a new stitch following the stitch locked to the knitting needles 1 and 2 of the FB including the stitch at the left end of the knitting width direction, The front yarn feeder is moved in the bind-off direction RS as the back, and a new stitch is formed following the stitch locked to the knitting needles 1 and 2 of the BB including the stitch at the left end in the knitting width direction. When the knitting in S2 is finished, the knitting yarn of the front knitted fabric portion 20F and the knitting yarn of the rear knitted fabric portion 20B are entangled with each other on the start end direction LS side, and front and back on the bind off direction RS side. The knitting yarns extending from the yarn feeder to the respective knitted fabric portions 20F and 20B intersect each other between FB and BB. The stitch ε (ζ) locked to the knitting needle 2 of the FB (BB) when the knitting of S2 is completed is a front base stitch (back base stitch) in the knitted fabric of the present invention.

In addition, although the stitch row formed on each of FB and BB in S2 is the second stitch including the stitch at the end portion in the starting end direction LS, it may be one stitch as shown in a modified example described later, or three stitches or more. Also good.

Next, in S3, the rear yarn feeder is preceded and the front yarn feeder is moved in the starting direction LS, the stitches are formed on the knitting needles 2 and 1 of the FB with the knitting yarn from the rear yarn feeder, and the front yarn feeder is fed. A stitch is formed on the knitting needles 2 and 1 of the BB with the knitting yarn from the yarn mouth. When the knitting in S3 is completed, the knitting yarn that directly connects the front base stitch ε formed on the knitting needle 2 of the FB in S2 and the stitch α formed in S3 following the wale direction of the stitch ε is S2 In this state, the rear base stitch ζ formed on the knitting needle 2 of the BB and the stitch β formed following the stitch ζ in the wale direction in S3 are entangled with each other. The front and back knitted fabric portions are bound together by the entanglement of these knitting yarns.

Furthermore, transfer jack (hereinafter, TRJ) a stitch row of two stitches formed on the knitting needles 2,1 BB in S3 and transferred to the knitting needle 3 and 2 of the same BB by (S4), the FB in S3 needles 2 , 1 is transferred to the knitting needles 3 and 2 of the same FB by TRJ (S5). When these S4 and S5 are completed, the knitting needle 3 of FB (BB) is locked to the stitch α (stitch β) locked to the knitting needle 2 in S3 and the knitting needle 3 adjacent to the bind-off direction. A double stitch γ (multiple stitch δ) in which the stitches are overlapped is formed. In addition, since the knitting of the reciprocating two courses is performed in S2 and S3 and the length in the wale direction is ensured, when transferring the stitches in S4 and S5, unnecessary tension does not act on the knitting yarn, No twitching occurs in the finished knitted fabric.

Next, in S6, the rear yarn feeder is preceded and the front yarn feeder is followed, and is moved in the bind-off direction RS, and stitches are formed on the knitting needles 2 and 3 of the FB with the knitting yarn from the rear yarn feeder. A stitch is formed on the knitting needles 2 and 3 of the BB with the knitting yarn from the yarn feeder (S6). At the time when the knitting of S6 is completed, the intersection of the knitting yarns formed at the end of S3 is fixed, and the knitting yarns of the front and rear knitted fabric portions are intertwined even at the end on the start end direction LS side, The knitted fabric portions 20F and 20B are bound together.

Here, looking at the arrangement state of the stitches in S6, the stitches in the front and rear knitted fabric portions are reduced by one compared to the arrangement state of the stitches in S2, and the stitches are shifted in the bind-off direction RS as a whole by one stitch. It ’s just that. Therefore, the bind-off process after S6 may be repeated the same knitting as S2 to S6.

According to the knitting process described above, the front and rear knitted fabric portions can be bound together without the knitting yarn of one of the front and rear knitted fabric portions being knitted into the other knitted fabric portion. As a result, as shown in the partially enlarged photograph of the knitted fabric in FIG. 2, the colors of the knitting yarn are not mixed at the boundary between the front and rear knitted fabric portions.

[Modification]
In this modification, some examples of binding the front and rear knitted fabric portions while performing the bind-off process without performing the reciprocating knitting shown in S2 and S3 of FIG. 1 will be described based on the knitting schematic diagram of FIG.

First, A-1 to A-4 on the left side of the page will be described below. A-1 is a state in which the front and rear knitted fabric portions 20F and 20B are locked to the front and rear needle beds. From this state, the rear yarn feeder is preceded and the front yarn feeder is followed, and is moved in the bind-off direction RS, and the stitch α (stitch β) following the stitch ε (stitch ζ) is knitted (see A-2). Then, after the yarn feeder is moved in the starting end direction LS, the stitch α (stitch β) is transferred to the adjacent stitch (see A-3) to form a double stitch γ (multiple stitch δ). Thereafter, the knitting of A-2 to A-4 may be repeated.

Next, B-1 to B-4 on the right side of the page will be described below. B-1 is a state in which the vertical relationship of the knitting yarn extending from the front and rear yarn feeders is opposite to that of A-1. From this state, the front and rear yarn feeders are moved in the bind-off direction RS (see B-2), and both yarn feeders are moved in the starting direction LS while maintaining the preceding / following relationship of B-2. The stitch α (stitch β) is knitted (see B-3). Then, the stitch α (the stitch β) is transferred in the bind off direction RS to form the double stitch γ (multiple stitch δ). Thereafter, the knitting of B-2 to B-4 may be repeated.

Even in the knitting of this modification, the front and rear knitted fabric portions can be bound together without the stitches of the one knitted fabric portion being knitted into the other knitted fabric portion.
