例えば、図１０に示すような円形断面の脚（Ａ）に対して取り付ける際には外周面被覆部（３）の内周形状は円形となり、図１１に示すような方形断面の脚（Ａ）に対して取り付ける際には外周面被覆部（３）の内周形状は方形となる。また、図１２に示すような上方に向けて太くなる形状を有する椅子脚（Ａ）に対して取り付ける際には、上方の連結手段（紐や面ファスナー等）を緩めたり外したりすることで、容易に且つ確実に装着することが可能となる。更に、図１３に示すような大径部と小径部とを有する椅子脚（Ａ）に対しても、しっかりと締め付け固定することができる。
