Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition for electromagnetic wave irradiation molding, and a method for producing a thermoplastic resin molded article using the same.
In general, there are various molding methods such as injection molding, blow molding, extrusion molding, and press molding as methods for obtaining a resin molded product having a predetermined shape using a thermoplastic resin.
On the other hand, for example, in
Also, for example, in
However, in the resin molding method of the above-mentioned
The present invention has been made in view of such conventional problems, and a thermoplastic resin for electromagnetic wave irradiation molding that can quickly form a thermoplastic resin molded product having a whiteness of 30% or more by electromagnetic wave irradiation molding. resin composition, and is intended to provide a method for producing a thermoplastic resin molded article using the same.
The first invention is a particulate thermoplastic for filling in a cavity of a rubber mold made of a rubber material and irradiating an electromagnetic wave including a wavelength region of 0.78 to 2 μm through the rubber mold to melt by heating. A resin composition comprising:
It contains 0.0005 to 0.1 parts by mass of an infrared absorber and 0.05 to 30 parts by mass of a colorant with respect to 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin.
The thermoplastic resin composition has a whiteness of 30% or more when formed into a thermoplastic resin molded product (claim 1).
The thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention is a composition that exhibits an excellent effect in electromagnetic wave irradiation molding (a method in which a thermoplastic resin is irradiated with electromagnetic waves through a rubber mold for molding).
Specifically, the thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention contains 0.0005 to 0.1 parts by mass of an infrared absorber with respect to 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin. And when this thermoplastic resin composition is filled in a cavity of a rubber mold, and this electromagnetic wave composition is irradiated with an electromagnetic wave including a wavelength region of 0.78 to 2 μm through the rubber mold, infrared absorption is performed. The agent can effectively absorb electromagnetic waves.
As a result, even when a white or predetermined colored thermoplastic resin is used as the thermoplastic resin, the electromagnetic wave can be effectively absorbed, and the thermoplastic resin composition can be rapidly heated and melted. . Therefore, a thermoplastic resin molded product having a whiteness of 30% or more can be rapidly molded by electromagnetic wave irradiation molding by blending an infrared absorber.
In addition, it is easy to manufacture a rubber mold as a mold, and thermoplastic resin molded products having various shapes can be molded at low cost.
In the reference invention, the thermoplastic resin composition is filled in the cavity of the rubber mold, irradiated with an electromagnetic wave including a wavelength region of 0.78 to 2 μm through the rubber mold, heated and melted, and then cooled. And having a whiteness of 30% or more .
The thermoplastic resin molded article of the present reference invention is manufactured (molded) using the thermoplastic resin composition described in the first invention.
Therefore, various shapes of thermoplastic resin molded products having a whiteness of 30% or more can be quickly and inexpensively molded by electromagnetic wave irradiation molding.
A second invention is a method for producing a thermoplastic resin molded article using the thermoplastic resin composition,
An arrangement step of arranging the thermoplastic resin composition in the cavity of the rubber mold,
A heating step of irradiating the thermoplastic resin composition in the cavity through the rubber mold with an electromagnetic wave including a wavelength region of 0.78 to 2 μm, and heating and melting the thermoplastic resin composition;
And a cooling step of cooling the molten thermoplastic resin composition to obtain a thermoplastic resin molded product (Claim 4 ).
In the method for producing a thermoplastic resin molded article of the present invention, the thermoplastic resin composition described in the first invention is used.
Specifically, first, as a placement step, a thermoplastic resin composition is placed in a rubber mold cavity. This thermoplastic resin composition can be filled in almost the entire cavity, or can be filled in a part of the cavity.
Next, as a heating step, an electromagnetic wave including a wavelength region of 0.78 to 2 μm is irradiated to the thermoplastic resin composition in the cavity through a rubber mold. At this time, the thermoplastic resin composition can be selectively heated compared to the rubber mold due to the difference in physical properties between the rubber material constituting the rubber mold and the thermoplastic resin composition (of the thermoplastic resin composition). The amount of heating can be increased). Thereby, the temperature rise of the rubber mold can be suppressed and the thermoplastic resin composition can be melted. In addition, since an infrared absorber is blended in the thermoplastic resin, the electromagnetic wave can be effectively absorbed by the thermoplastic resin, and the thermoplastic resin composition can be rapidly heated and melted.
A preferred embodiment in the first and second inventions described above will be described.
In the first and second inventions, the reason why the thermoplastic resin composition can be selectively heated by the electromagnetic wave including the wavelength region of 0.78 to 2 μm as compared with the rubber mold is as follows. Think like that.
That is, the rate at which electromagnetic waves including a wavelength region of 0.78 to 2 μm irradiated on the surface of the rubber mold are absorbed by the thermoplastic resin composition through the rubber mold as compared with the rate absorbed by the rubber mold. I think that there are many. Therefore, it is considered that the energy of light due to electromagnetic waves including a wavelength region of 0.78 to 2 μm is preferentially absorbed by the thermoplastic resin composition, and the thermoplastic resin composition can be selectively heated.
Moreover, as an electromagnetic wave irradiated to the said thermoplastic resin composition through the said rubber type | mold, not only the electromagnetic wave of the wavelength range whose wavelength is 0.78-2 micrometers, but the electromagnetic waves of the area | region other than this may also be contained. . In this case, the electromagnetic wave or the transmitted electromagnetic wave irradiated to the thermoplastic resin composition through the rubber mold preferably contains more electromagnetic waves in the wavelength region having a wavelength of 0.78 to 2 μm than electromagnetic waves in other regions. .
The reason why the electromagnetic wave having a wavelength of 0.78 to 2 μm is used for heating the thermoplastic resin composition is that the electromagnetic wave having a wavelength of this wavelength easily transmits through the rubber mold. This is because the composition is easily absorbed.
The electromagnetic wave preferably has an intensity peak in a wavelength region of 0.78 to 2 μm. In this case, a halogen heater, an infrared lamp, or the like having a predetermined distribution characteristic for the wavelength of the emitted electromagnetic wave can be used as the electromagnetic wave generation source.
The rubber mold can be formed from a transparent or translucent silicone rubber as a rubber material. The hardness of this silicone rubber can be set to 25-80 in the JIS-A standard measurement.
In the first to third aspects of the invention, the whiteness value W (%) is a value obtained from the following equation.
W (%) = 100 − {(100−L) 2 + a 2 + b 2 } 1/2
Here, L represents lightness, a represents redness, b represents yellowness, and is a value obtained by a Hunter-type measurement color difference meter. This whiteness means that the larger the value, the closer to white.
The whiteness value when the thermoplastic resin composition is a thermoplastic resin molded article is preferably 40% or more, more preferably 50% or more, and particularly preferably 70% or more. This upper limit of whiteness can be as close to 100% as possible.
The said whiteness can be adjusted by selecting suitably the kind and content of a thermoplastic resin, the kind and content of an infrared absorber, and the kind and content of a coloring agent.
When the content of the infrared absorber relative to 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin is less than 0.0005 parts by mass, the amount of the infrared absorber is too small and the thermoplastic resin composition is sufficiently effective in absorbing electromagnetic waves. It is not demonstrated. On the other hand, when the content of the infrared absorber with respect to 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic resin is more than 0.1 parts by mass, the infrared absorber is too much and the whiteness of the molded thermoplastic resin molded product is 30%. It becomes difficult to keep above.

Further, as the infrared absorber, various agents that absorb electromagnetic waves including a near infrared wavelength region of 0.78 to 2 μm can be used.
As the infrared absorbent, either an inorganic infrared absorbent or an organic infrared absorbent can be used. The inorganic infrared absorber is at least one selected from the group consisting of metal oxides such as tin oxide, zinc oxide and copper oxide, antimony-doped tin oxide, indium-doped tin oxide, In, Ga, Al and Sb. Examples thereof include metal complex compounds such as zinc oxide containing elements.

The blending amount of the infrared absorber is preferably 0.001 to 0.08 parts by weight, more preferably 0.005 to 0.06 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic resin. By setting the blending amount to 0.0005 parts by weight or more, it is possible to further shorten the time required for heating and melting the thermoplastic resin composition by irradiating electromagnetic waves. One type of infrared absorber can be used, but two or more types can be used in combination.
Moreover, the said thermoplastic resin composition contains 0.05-30 mass parts of coloring agents with respect to 100 mass parts of said thermoplastic resins .
In this case, it becomes easy to mold a thermoplastic resin molded product having a whiteness of 30% or more using various thermoplastic resins.

Next, the order of manufacturing the thermoplastic resin molded
In the manufacturing method of the thermoplastic resin molded
In molding the thermoplastic resin molded
Next, the
When the small
Further, when the large
Next, as shown in FIG. 2, as a vacuum process, the
Next, as shown in the figure, as a heating process, the electromagnetic wave including the wavelength region of 0.78 to 4 μm emitted from the electromagnetic wave generating means 4 is transmitted through the
In addition, since the infrared absorbent is blended with the large
In the
In addition, the state of the
Next, as shown in FIG. 3, as a filling step, the
Further, in the filling step of this example, irradiation of the transmitted electromagnetic wave to the
When the molten
Thereby, the
Moreover, since the thermoplastic resin of the same composition is used for the thermoplastic resin in the
Therefore, according to the resin molding method of this example, the thermoplastic resin molded

As shown in FIG. 7, when trying to fill only the large

The whiteness in this confirmation test was determined by measuring L, a, and b with a Hunter-type colorimeter on a test piece (molded product) molded into a size of
