Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an in-vehicle video presentation device and a video presentation method for capturing a video around a vehicle and displaying it on a display device in a vehicle interior.
LED(Light Emitting Diode)により構成されたヘッドライトは、肉眼では点灯しているように見えるが、実際にはPWM(Pulse Width Modulation)制御により肉眼では認識できない周波数で点滅している。 Headlights composed of LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) appear to be lit with the naked eye, but actually blink at a frequency that cannot be recognized with the naked eye by PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control. For this reason, when a headlight composed of LEDs is photographed by a conventional in-vehicle image presentation device, the headlight blinks at a frequency that can be recognized by the naked eye depending on the relationship between the PWM control frequency and the frame rate of the image. May feel annoying.
The present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and the purpose of the present invention is to make an occupant feel annoyed by blinking a blinking object blinking at a cycle that cannot be recognized by the naked eye. It is an object to provide an in-vehicle video presentation device and a video presentation method capable of suppressing the above-described problem.
The in-vehicle video presentation apparatus and video presentation method according to the present invention process and display a video so that flashing regions having a flashing cycle less than a predetermined cycle included in a video around the vehicle are continuously lit and displayed.
According to the vehicle-mounted image presentation device and the image presentation method according to the present invention, since the blinking object blinking at a cycle that cannot be recognized by the naked eye is lit and displayed, the annoyance felt by the blinking display can be suppressed.
Hereinafter, with reference to the drawings, a configuration and operation of an in-vehicle video presentation device according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described.
撮像部2は、CCD(Charge Coupled Device)カメラ等の公知の撮像装置により構成されている。
[Configuration of in-vehicle video presentation device]
An in-vehicle video presentation apparatus 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention is mounted on a vehicle, and as shown in FIG. 1, an
The headlight composed of LEDs appears to be lit with the naked eye, but actually blinks at a frequency that cannot be recognized with the naked eye by PWM control. Therefore, when the PWM control frequency is higher than the video frame rate, in other words, as shown in FIG. 4A, the PWM control cycle ΔT1 is less than the inverse of the video frame rate ΔT2. When the captured headlight is photographed, as shown in FIG. 4B, the headlight blinks at a frequency that can be recognized with the naked eye, and the driver may feel annoyed. Therefore, the vehicle-mounted video presentation device 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention performs the video presentation process described below, and the blinking object that blinks at a cycle that cannot be recognized by the naked eye is lit and displayed, so that the driver is bothered. Suppress feeling. Hereinafter, with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG. 5, the operation of the in-vehicle video presentation device 1 when executing this video presentation processing will be described.
The flowchart shown in FIG. 5 starts at the timing when the
In the process of step S1, the
In the process of step S2, the
In the process of step S3, whether or not the luminance has fallen below the predetermined value L within a predetermined time from the time when the
In the process of step S4, the
In the process of step S5, the luminance is predetermined within a predetermined time (for example, 0.5 seconds) from the time when the
In the process of step S6, the
In the process of step S7, the
In the process of step S8, the
In the process of step S9, the blinking
In this way, the blinking
As described above, in the present embodiment, it is determined whether or not the blinking cycle of the blinking object detected by the blinking
In the present embodiment, whether or not a vehicle is included in the video input from the
As mentioned above, although embodiment which applied the invention made by this inventor was described, this invention is not limited by the description and drawing which make a part of indication of this invention by this embodiment. For example, in the present embodiment, the video processing unit 4 displays the blinking object continuously lit and displayed according to the average luminance value of several consecutive video frames in the past regardless of the luminance value of the pixel. As shown in the figure, when the luminance of the pixel is in the high state, the luminance value of the pixel is output as it is, and only when the luminance of the pixel is in the low state, the blinking object is lit and displayed with the average luminance value. Good. As described above, other embodiments, examples, operation techniques, and the like made by those skilled in the art based on the present embodiment are all included in the scope of the present invention.
