Description
(1)上述の実施形態では、表示画像を生成する際に、ネガポジ反転後にモノクロ変換を行ったが、モノクロ変換後にネガポジ反転を行っても構わない。

Claims (6)
- 監視対象を撮影する撮像部と、
前記撮像部により撮影された撮影画像の視認性に基づく反転条件が充足されているか否かを判定する反転条件判定部と、
前記反転条件判定部により前記反転条件が充足されていると判定された際に、前記撮影画像からネガポジ反転画像を生成する表示画像生成部と、
ゲイン値および前記撮像部のイメージセンサの光蓄積時間であるシャッター速度のうちの一方を制御することにより前記撮像部の露光制御を行う露光制御部を備え、
前記反転条件判定部は、前記露光制御部により前記ゲイン値が制御される場合には当該ゲイン値が所定の閾値より大きいときに前記反転条件が充足されると判定し、前記露光制御部により前記シャッター速度が制御される場合には当該シャッター速度が所定の閾値より大きいときに前記反転条件が充足されると判定する監視装置。 - 前記撮像画像はカラー画像であり、
前記ネガポジ反転画像は、前記カラー画像に対してモノクロ変換及びネガポジ反転を施した濃淡画像である請求項1に記載の監視装置。 - 前記反転条件判定部は、前記ゲイン値が前記撮像画像のノイズが視認されるゲイン値よりも小さい所定ゲイン値を超えた場合に、前記反転条件を充足すると判定する請求項1または2に記載の監視装置。
- 前記表示画像生成部は、ネガポジ反転する際に、画素値をオフセットさせる請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の監視装置。
- 前記表示画像生成部は、前記撮影画像の一部分をネガポジ反転させる請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の監視装置。
- 車両に搭載される請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の監視装置であって、
前記撮像部は、当該車両の側方周辺を撮影するよう配置されている監視装置。
