Claims (18)
- 近位ハンドルと、
遠位先端と、
前記近位ハンドルと前記遠位先端の間に延在しており、
巻回されて、一続きの巻回を有する内側円筒編組構造を形成する第1のワイヤと、
巻回されて外側円筒編組構造を形成する第2のワイヤであって、前記内側円筒編組構造が前記外側円筒編組構造の内側に配置される、第2のワイヤと、
前記第1のワイヤを覆って押し出されるポリマー材料の中間層と、を有するシャフトと、を備えるカテーテル器具であって、
前記第1のワイヤは、前記ポリマー材料の中間層に埋め込まれ、
前記第2のワイヤは前記ポリマー材料の中間層の外表面を巻回し、
前記ポリマー材料の中間層は、さらに、前記巻回の連続する1つ1つが互いに対向する各表面に接するように、前記巻回の連続する1つ1つの間に延在しており、
前記第1のワイヤと、前記第2のワイヤと、前記ポリマー材料の中間層は、同軸配置されており、それぞれが近位ハンドルと遠位先端との間に延在しており、
前記第1のワイヤが断面の短径寸法と断面の長径寸法とを有するフラットワイヤであり、前記長径寸法は前記短径寸法より大きく、
前記第1のワイヤと前記第2のワイヤとそれらの間に配置された前記ポリマー材料の中間層は、二重編組体セクションを画定しており、
前記二重編組体セクションの前記内側編組構造の第1のワイヤのピックレート、厚さ、幅のうちの少なくともひとつの編組パラメータが前記内側編組構造の長さに従って変わることにより前記カテーテル器具の前記シャフトの前記近位ハンドルと前記遠位先端との間において軸方向の剛性が異なっており、
前記二重編組体セクションの前記外側編組構造の第2のワイヤのピックレート、厚さ、幅のうちの少なくともひとつの編組パラメータが前記内側編組構造の前記編組パラメータと独立して、前記外側編組構造の長さに従って変わることにより前記カテーテル器具の前記シャフトの前記近位ハンドルと前記遠位先端との間においてねじり剛性が異なっている、
器具。 - 前記長径寸法が前記内側編組構造の長手方向軸と整列するような向きに前記第1のワイヤが置かれる、請求項1に記載の器具。
- ポリマー材料の内層が少なくとも部分的に前記内側編組構造の内側に配置され、外側ポリマー層が少なくとも部分的に前記外側編組構造の外側に配置される、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記内層、前記内側編組構造、前記ポリマー材料の中間層、前記外側編組構造及び前記外層が、一体層状シャフトを画定する、請求項3に記載の器具。
- 前記内側編組構造及び前記ポリマー材料の中間層が協働して前記カテーテル器具の長手方向セクションに前記第1機械的特性を付与し、前記第1機械的特性は、前記長手方向セクションが使用中に非圧縮性であることである、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記軸方向の剛性が、前記第1のワイヤの断面の長径寸法と前記内側編組構造の編組パラメータとに依存する、請求項5に記載の器具。
- 前記軸方向の剛性が、前記ポリマー材料の中間層の材料特性に依存する、請求項5に記載の器具。
- 前記外側編組構造及び前記外層が協働して前記カテーテル器具の長手方向セクションに前記ねじり剛性を付与する、請求項3に記載の器具。
- 前記ねじり剛性が、前記第2のワイヤの断面寸法と前記外側円筒編組構造の編組パラメータとに依存する、請求項8に記載の器具。
- 前記ねじり剛性が、前記外側ポリマー層の材料特性に依存する、請求項8に記載の器具。
- 近位ハンドルと、
遠位先端と、
前記近位ハンドルと前記遠位先端の間に延在しており、
少なくとも1本の内部ルーメンを画定するポリマー材料の第1の層と、
前記第1の層の外表面の上に巻回されて内側円筒編組構造を形成しており、前記内側円筒編組構造は一続きの巻回を有する、第1のワイヤと、
前記内側円筒編組構造の外側を覆って押し出されているポリマー材料の第2の層と、
前記第2の層の外表面の上に巻回されて外側円筒編組構造を形成する第2のワイヤと、を有するシャフトと、を備えているカテーテル器具であって、
前記第1のワイヤは、前記ポリマー材料の第2の層に埋め込まれており、
前記ポリマー材料の第2の層は、さらに、前記巻回の連続する1つ1つが互いに対向する各表面に接するように、前記巻回の連続する1つ1つの間に延在しており、
前記第1のワイヤと前記第2のワイヤとそれらの間に配置された前記ポリマー材料の第2の層は、二重編組シャフトを画定しており、
前記二重編組シャフトは、前記近位ハンドルと前記遠位先端との間に延在しており、
前記二重編組シャフトの前記内側編組構造の前記第1のワイヤのピックレート、厚さ、幅のうちの少なくともひとつの編組パラメータが前記内側編組構造の長さに従って変わることにより前記カテーテル器具の第1機械的特性が異なっており、
前記二重編組シャフトの前記外側編組構造の前記第2のワイヤのピックレート、厚さ、幅のうちの少なくともひとつの編組パラメータが前記内側編組構造の前記編組パラメータと独立して、前記外側編組構造の長さに従って変わることにより前記カテーテル器具の第2機械的特性が異なっており、
前記第1機械的特性は、前記第2機械的特性と相違する、
器具。 - 前記第1のワイヤが、断面の短径寸法と断面の長径寸法とを有するフラットワイヤであり、前記長径寸法が前記短径寸法より大きい、請求項11に記載の器具。
- 前記断面の短径寸法が前記内側円筒編組構造の半径方向軸と整列するような向きに前記第1のワイヤが置かれる、請求項1または12に記載の器具。
- 第2のワイヤが、断面の短径寸法と断面の長径寸法とを有するフラットワイヤであり、前記長径寸法が前記短径寸法より大きい、請求項1または11に記載の器具。
- 少なくとも部分的に前記外側編組構造の外側に配置されるポリマーの外層をさらに備える、請求項11に記載の器具。
- 前記第1のワイヤは、前記二重編組体セクションの長さの関数としてのピックレートの第1の関係を有しており、
前記第2のワイヤは、前記第1の関係と異なっている、前記二重編組体セクションの長さの関数としてのピックレートの第2の関係を有している、請求項1または11に記載の器具。 - 前記第1機械的特性は、軸方向の剛性である、請求項11に記載の器具。
- 前記第2機械的特性は、ねじり剛性である、請求項11または17に記載の器具。
