Description
Claims (17)
- 複数のメディアアクセス制御(MAC)及び物理(PHY)レイヤスタックを有する基地局、並びに
少なくとも1つの利用できない周波数チャネルの間で、各々の前記スタックを、それぞれ1つの利用可能な制限周波数チャネルに、又はそれぞれ1セットの連続した利用可能な制限周波数チャネルに、割り当てるスペクトラムマネージャ、
を有し、前記スペクトラムマネージャは、利用可能な制限周波数チャネルの数が前記スタックの数より少ない場合に、いくつかの前記MAC及びPHYレイヤスタックが、1つの利用可能な制限周波数チャネル又は1セットの連続した利用可能な制限周波数チャネルを時分割で共有することを可能にすることを特徴とする、無線通信ネットワーク。 - 前記スペクトラムマネージャが、各々の前記スタックを動的に再割り当てする、請求項1に記載の無線通信ネットワーク。
- 複数のセカンダリ無線局、及び1つ以上の前記利用可能な制限周波数チャネルを占有する少なくとも1つの既存装置をさらに有する請求項1に記載の無線通信ネットワーク。
- 前記スペクトラムマネージャが、ネットワーク内の前記複数のセカンダリ無線局による使用に対する制限チャネルの利用可能度を決定する、請求項3に記載の無線通信ネットワーク。
- 前記スペクトラムマネージャが、ネットワーク内の前記複数のセカンダリ無線局の送信要件を決定する、請求項3に記載の無線通信ネットワーク。
- 無線通信システムにおける無線通信方法であって、
複数のメディアアクセス制御(MAC)及び物理(PHY)レイヤスタックを有する基地局を提供するステップ、並びに
少なくとも1つの利用できない周波数チャネルの間で、各々の前記スタックを、それぞれ1つの利用可能な制限周波数チャネルに、又はそれぞれ1セットの連続した利用可能な制限周波数チャネルに、割り当てるステップ、
を有し、利用可能な制限周波数チャネルの数が前記スタックの数より少ない場合に、いくつかの前記MAC及びPHYレイヤスタックが、1つの利用可能な制限周波数チャネル又は1セットの連続した利用可能な制限周波数チャネルを時分割で共有することが可能にされることを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記割り当てるステップの前に、ネットワーク内のセカンダリ無線局による使用に対する制限チャネルの利用可能度を決定するステップをさらに有する請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記割り当てるステップの前に、ネットワーク内のセカンダリ無線局の送信要件を決定するステップをさらに有する請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記決定するステップが、前記セカンダリ無線局のそれぞれの位置を決定するステップ、及び、前記位置に基づいて、前記利用可能な制限周波数チャネルから、適切な制限周波数チャネル又は適切な1セットの連続したチャネルを選択するステップをさらに有する請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記割り当てるステップの後に、利用可能度の変化若しくはセカンダリ無線局の要求又はその両方に応じて、前記利用可能な制限周波数チャネルに対する前記スタックの割り当てを変更するステップをさらに有する請求項6に記載の方法。
- 基地局によって占有される複数の制限チャネルの各々において並列に、プリアンブルフィールド及びスーパーフレーム初期化ヘッダ(SIH)フィールドを送信するステップ、並びに
セカンダリ無線局において前記プリアンブル及びSIHを受信した後に、当該セカンダリ無線局を同期させるステップ、
を有する請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記送信するステップが、スーパーフレームの開始時に発生する請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記同期させるステップが、前記受信の後に前記セカンダリ無線局の送受信特性を変更するステップをさらに有する請求項11に記載の方法。
- 次のスーパーフレームに先立って前記SIHフィールドを更新するステップ、並びに
前記次のスーパーフレームにおいて前記プリアンブル及び更新されたSIHフィールドを送信するステップ、
をさらに有する請求項12に記載の方法。 - 前記受信が、前記複数の制限チャネルのうちの少なくとも1つをスキャンすることをさらに含む請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記スーパーフレームが複数のフレームを有する請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記SIHが、スーパーフレームあたりのフレーム数、各々のフレームの継続時間、次に予定されている沈黙期間、沈黙期間の継続時間、送信側の送信パワー、送信側の位置情報のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
