Description

The present invention relates to a chair whose backrest can be tilted backward with respect to a seat.

Conventionally, the lower end of the back support rod is pivotally attached to the support base arranged below the seat, and the back supported by the back support rod is tilted backward with respect to the seat by the rotation of the back support rod. Is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1 below).

In such a chair, it is usual that the lower end portion of the back support rod is covered with a back support cover. In addition, the vicinity of the lower end portion of the back support rod is set to a contact portion that can come into contact with the support base portion when tilted backward with respect to the support base portion. A cover is attached, and when the back support heel is tilted backward, the shock-absorbing cover is given priority over the contact portion to prevent the generation of contact noise.
JP 2003-289977 A

However, in the conventional mode, since the back support rod cover and the buffer cover are separate, there is a risk that the mounting of the buffer cover, which is a relatively small part, may be forgotten. In addition, since there is no means for positioning the relative position between the back support rod cover and the back support rod, the back support rod cover wobbles with the back support cover attached to the vicinity of the lower end of the back support rod. There is also a risk that unnecessary contact noise may occur due to the wobble. In addition, in order to prevent the back support rod cover from wobbling, a mode in which a dedicated positioning means is provided between the back support rod cover and the back support rod can be considered. There arises a new problem that the number of parts increases and the structure becomes complicated.

The present invention has been made paying attention to such a problem, and a main purpose thereof is to prevent a contact sound from being generated when the back support rod is tilted backward with respect to the support base, and to provide a buffer cover. It is another object of the present invention to provide a chair that can prevent forgetting to attach the back support rod, and can position the attachment position of the back support rod cover with respect to the back support rod without providing dedicated positioning means.

That is, the chair of the present invention is such that the backrest can be tilted backward with respect to the seat, the support base disposed below the seat, and the back support rod having the lower end pivoted on the support base. A back support cover that covers the vicinity of the lower end portion of the back support rod, and when the back support rod is tilted backward with respect to the support base in the vicinity of the lower end portion. The back support cover covers the cover main body and the contact part of the back support bar, and has priority over the contact part when the back support bar is tilted backward. And a buffer cover that is in contact with the support base, and the cover body has an insertion hole through which the back support rod is inserted, and the buffer cover includes the cover A non-mounting position at a position away from the insertion hole when viewed from the opening direction of the insertion hole with respect to the body Mounting position, the is intended pivotable between the insertion hole when viewed from the opening direction of the wearable mounting position on the contact portion located inside the insertion hole, the cushioning cover to the contact portion By doing so, the relative mounting position of the back support rod and the back support rod cover is positioned.

If this is the case, this buffering cover can effectively prevent the contact sound with the support base generated when the back support lever is tilted backward, and the work of covering the cover body with the back support cover can be performed. By doing so, the buffer cover can be inevitably attached to the back support rod, and forgetting to attach the buffer cover, which is a relatively small member, can be avoided. Moreover, since the relative mounting position of the back support rod and the back support cover is positioned by attaching a buffer cover to the contact portion, there is no need to provide a dedicated positioning means, and the number of parts Can be effectively reduced and the structure can be simplified.

In addition , the cover main body has an insertion hole for inserting the back support rod, and the buffer cover covers the cover main body from the insertion hole as viewed from the opening direction of the insertion hole. and a non-mounting position which is deviated position, the insertion hole of der things pivotable between a wearable mounting position on the contact portion located within said insertion hole when viewed from the opening direction Runode, buffer The back support rod can be inserted into the insertion hole smoothly by positioning the cover for the non-attachment position. After the back support rod is inserted into the insertion hole, the buffer cover is positioned at the attachment position and By attaching, the entire back support cover can be prevented from unexpectedly coming off the back support cover. In addition, when creating a mold to be used when integrally forming the cover body and the buffer cover, the buffer cover positioned at the non-mounting position is molded to take the mold removal direction into consideration. Satisfying the required conditions, the back support cover can be made into an integrally molded product.

In addition, if the buffer cover is provided with a fitting portion that can be fitted into the fitted portion provided in the contact portion, a screw or the like can be obtained by fitting the fitting portion into the fitted portion. The buffer cover and the contact portion can be well mounted without using the fixing tool, and the buffer cover is caused by the shock that the buffer cover receives by contact with the support base when the back support rod is tilted backward. It is possible to prevent the situation of falling off the hit part.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the contact sound from being generated by the buffer cover when the back support heel is tilted backward with respect to the support base, and to prevent forgetting to attach the buffer cover. Furthermore, the mounting position of the back support rod cover relative to the back support rod can be positioned without providing a dedicated positioning means.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 (FIG. 2 is a view in which the central cross section of the chair 1 shown in FIG. 1 is partially omitted), the chair 1 according to this embodiment is , A seat 3, a support base 4 disposed below the seat 3, a back support rod 5 having a lower end pivotally supported on the rear side of the support base 4, and a backrest 6 attached to the back support rod 5. It is a thing. The chair 1 has a back tilt function in which the backrest 6 tilts backward as the back support rod 5 is tilted backward.

The leg body 2 includes a plurality of leg blades 21 having casters and a single leg strut 22, and a gas cylinder (illustrated) as a seat lifting mechanism for lifting the seat 3 inside the cylindrical leg strut 22. (Omitted). That is, the leg support 22 functions as a gas cylinder cover member that covers the gas cylinder.

As shown in FIG. 3 which is an enlarged view of a main part of FIGS. 2 and 2, the leg column 22 includes an upper cylindrical body 221 and a lower cylindrical body 222 that form a telescope shape, and an upper cylindrical body 221. And a cap member 223 that can be fitted to the upper end portion. Here, a fitting structure between the upper cylindrical body 221 and the cap member 223 will be described.

The upper cylindrical body 221 is configured such that the diameter is gradually increased from the lower side to the upper side and the entire outer peripheral surface is set in a tapered shape, and a step portion 221a thinner than other regions is formed at the upper end portion. ing.

On the other hand, the cap member 223 has a substantially disc shape, has a holding hole 223a that allows the upper end of the gas cylinder to be inserted and can hold the inserted gas cylinder at the center, and The outer edge portion has a fitting portion 223b that can be fitted to the stepped portion 221a. The fitting portion 223b has a concave groove shape that has an inner facing wall 223ba and an outer facing wall 223bb that are opposed to each other in the radial direction, and a connection portion 223bc that connects the upper ends of these facing walls 223ba and 222bb, and opens only downward. Is. The inner dimensions of the inner facing wall 223ba and the outer facing wall 223bb are set to be substantially the same as or slightly larger than the thickness dimension of the step portion 221a.

Such attachment of the upper cylindrical body 221 and the cap member 223 is performed by fitting the fitting portion 223b of the cap member 223 to the step portion 221a of the upper cylindrical body 221 as shown in FIG. Do. In the fitted state (see FIG. 3B), the stepped portion 221a is sandwiched between the inner side and the outer side by the inner facing wall 223ba and the outer facing wall 223bb of the fitting portion 223b. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the diameter of the fitting portion 223b, specifically, the inner diameter of the outer facing wall 223bb is set slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the step portion 221a. By pressing the joint portion 223b into the tapered step portion 221a, the step portion 221a is sandwiched while being pressed between the inner facing wall 223ba and the outer facing wall 223bb of the fitting portion 223b. The stepped portion 221a and the fitting portion 223b are configured to be able to maintain a stronger fitting state over a long period of time. In addition, the convex part which protrudes outward or inward continuously is provided in at least one of the outward surface or the inward surface of the step portion 221a in the circumferential direction, and the inward surface of the outer facing wall 223bb or the outward direction of the inner facing wall 223ba. A concave portion that can be engaged with the convex portion is continuously provided in at least one of the surfaces in the circumferential direction, and the convex portion and the concave portion that face each other are engaged when the fitting portion 223b is fitted to the step portion 221a. You may comprise. Of course, a mode in which the relationship between the convex portion and the concave portion is reversed, that is, a mode in which the concave portion is provided in the stepped portion 221a and the convex portion is provided in the fitting portion 223b may be employed.

Since the gas cylinder is a well-known one, a detailed description is omitted. The gas cylinder is arranged inside the leg column 22 and the vicinity of the upper end thereof is inserted into the holding hole 223a of the cap member 223 and is held by being pressed by the base end portion of the operation lever 7 described later. A simple head is positioned above the cap member 223.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the seat 3 includes a seat shell 31 that is a shell structure, a seat cushion material 32 disposed above the seat shell 31, and a seat surface cover that can cover the seat cushion material 32. 33. Details of the seat shell 31 will be described later.

The support base 4 is a seat shell as shown in FIGS. 2, 4 and 5 (FIG. 5 is a rear view of the support base 4 with the back support rod 5 and the operating lever 7 pivoted). 31, a support base body 41 positioned in the center region in the left-right width direction, an elbow support portion 42 attached to both left and right sides of the support base body 41, and a leg attached to the lower surface of the support base body 41. A support post 43 is provided.

The support base body 41 includes a base portion 411 that gradually tilts upward at a gentle angle toward the front and a base portion 411 toward the rear, with a position closer to the rear side than the middle portion in the front-rear direction (longitudinal direction). It is a steel integrated product integrally provided with a reaction force receiving portion 412 that gradually inclines upward at a steeper angle and receives a reaction force associated with the backward inclination of the back support rod 5 (see FIG. 2). Note that the reaction force mechanism X that generates a tilting force (reaction force) that tilts the back support rod 5 to a standing posture with the back tilt of the back support rod 5 uses a spring spring (not shown), and the seat 3 The degree of tilting power (reaction force) that causes the back support bar 5 to tilt to the upright position as the back support bar 5 is tilted backward by operating the operation knob X1 (see FIG. 1) disposed below the rear side. The well-known thing which can adjust can be applied, and detailed description is abbreviate | omitted. The support base body 41 includes ribs 41 a extending along the front-rear direction in the left and right side edges or in the vicinity of the left and right side edges. In the present embodiment, ribs 41a that are substantially mountain-folded when viewed from the front are applied. The support base body 41 has high rigidity due to the ribs 41 a provided continuously from the base portion 411 to the reaction force receiving portion 412. The base portion 411 has a seat shell mounting portion 411a in which a seat shell mounting hole used for mounting to the seat shell 31 is formed outside the rib 41a, and an elbow support is provided on a part of the seat shell mounting portion 411a. An elbow support mounting portion 411b for mounting the portion 42 is formed (see FIG. 4). The seat shell mounting portion 411a is inclined upward and gradually forward at the same angle as the base portion 411, while the elbow support mounting portion 411b extends horizontally in the front-rear direction. In this way, by setting the elbow support mounting portion 411b to be horizontal, the same elbow support portion 42 can be attached to either the left or right elbow support mounting portion 411b. With such a configuration, if the elbow support attaching part 411b is inclined to the front and gradually upward at the same angle as the base part 411, that is, it is necessary to correspond to the inclination angle of the elbow support attaching part 411b. This eliminates the problem that the left and right elbow support mounting portions 411b cannot be shared.

The elbow support part 42 is made of steel that is fixed to the lower surface of the elbow support attachment part 411b and the side surface of the leg support part 43 by welding, for example. The elbow support 42 is held in a posture that gradually rises outward.

The leg strut receiving portion 43 has a generally upward U-shape that opens in the front-rear direction and upward, and is made of steel that is fixed to a region extending from the rear side of the base portion 411 and the front side of the reaction force receiving portion 412 by, for example, welding. (See FIGS. 2 and 5). A cylindrical portion 431 through which the upper end portion of the gas cylinder and the head that can project and retract can be inserted in a portion of the leg strut receiving portion 43 that is positioned on the rear side of the base portion 411. The cylindrical portion 431 penetrates the base portion 411 and is positioned at a position where the head of the gas cylinder faces the opening of the cylindrical portion 431. The base end portion of the operation lever 78 for operating the gas cylinder is also positioned at a position facing the opening of the tubular portion 431 so that the operation lever 7 can press the head of the gas cylinder.

The operation lever 7 includes a lever main body 71 pivotally supported by the support base 4 in the vicinity of the base end portion so as to be rotatable around a horizontal axis in the front-rear direction, and a handle 72 made of a synthetic resin attached to the distal end portion of the lever main body 71. It is equipped with. Note that “rotation about the horizontal axis in the front-rear direction” used in the description of the operation of the operation lever 7 means “rotation in the height direction about the horizontal axis extending in the front-rear direction”.

The lever main body 71 is a metal rod-shaped member, and a first linear portion 711 disposed below the support base 4 and a first cylinder portion 711 disposed above the support base 4 and capable of pressing the head of the gas cylinder from above. The handle 72 is made of a synthetic resin having a flat tip portion, and is attached to the tip portion of the lever main body 71 with a screw or the like. By the operation of moving the handle 72 in the vertical direction, the operation lever 7 has a pressing position where the base end portion of the lever body 71 (the base end portion of the second linear portion 712) presses the head of the gas cylinder, and the gas It rotates around the horizontal axis in the front-rear direction between the non-pressing position where the head of the cylinder is not pressed.

As shown in FIGS. 2, 4, and 5, the back support rod 5 is provided between a pair of left and right backrest frame bodies 51 and the backrest frame bodies 51 and receives a spring spring of the reaction force mechanism X. The spring receiving portion 52 is integrally provided.

The pair of left and right backrest frame bodies 51 are arranged so that the front portions thereof are located below the base portion 411, are curved upward and rearward from the rear end portion of the seat 3, and are extended to the portions extending upward. A backrest attaching portion 53 for attaching the turn 6 is integrally provided. The backrest 6 can be attached to the back shell, the back cushion material (not shown) arranged in front of the back shell, the backrest surface cover 61 that can cover the back cushion material, and the back of the back shell. The back cover 62 is provided (see FIG. 1).

A lower end portion (base end portion) of each backrest frame body 51 is arranged at a position sandwiching a portion of the leg strut receiving portion 43 that is positioned on the front side of the reaction force receiving portion 412 from both sides, in the lateral width direction. It is pivotally supported on the support base 4 by a back support rod rotating shaft 5x which is a horizontal axis (see FIGS. 2 and 5). The back support shaft rotating shaft 5x may be a single shaft that communicates with the pair of left and right backrest frame bodies 51. However, in the present embodiment, as an aspect provided individually for each backrest frame body 51, Yes. Of course, the pair of shafts are positioned on the same straight line in the lateral width direction of the seat. Further, in each backrest frame body 51 pivotally supported by the support base 4, the lower end side region disposed below the support base main body 41 is provided on the left and right sides provided in the support base main body 41 as shown in FIG. 15. It is positioned directly below or approximately directly below the pair of ribs 41a.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 6 (FIG. 6 is an enlarged view of the main part of FIG. 2 and a part of the back support bar 5 is shown in a partially omitted state), as shown in FIGS. Of the drooping frame body 51, the steel plate is disposed at a position behind the pivot point (back support shaft rotating shaft 5x) and ahead of the bent portion, and the substantially flat steel material faces substantially downward. It is bent into a U shape. At the front end portion of the spring receiving portion 52, the support base portion 4 (specifically, when the back support rod 5 is tilted rearward with respect to the support base portion 4, located slightly below the downward surface of the backrest frame body 51. Is provided with a contact portion 521 that can come into contact with the rear end portion of the leg strut receiving portion 43. The contact portion 521 has a tongue-like shape extending forward from the lower end of the forward facing surface 522 of the spring receiving portion 52, and is provided with an upward convex portion 521a protruding upward (see FIG. 6, FIG. 6). A pattern is given to a part of the upward convex portion 521a). In the present embodiment, the pair of upward convex portions 521a are provided so as to be separated from each other on the left and right.

Therefore, the chair 1 according to the present embodiment covers the portion exposed to the outside of the portion near the lower end of the back support rod 5 with the back support cover 8.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4 to 7, the back support rod cover 8 includes a substantially cylindrical cover main body 81 having a back support rod insertion hole 81 a for inserting the back support rod 5, and a back support rod. 5 and a buffer cover 82 that contacts the support base 4 in preference to the contact portion 521 when the back support 5 is tilted backward. The back support rod cover 8 is an integrally molded product made of, for example, a synthetic resin material. 4 shows a state in which the back support rod 5 from which the back support rod cover 8 to be originally attached is removed is pivotally supported by the support base 4, and the back support rod cover itself is shown as a single perspective view. It shows.

The back support rod insertion hole 81a of the cover body 81 has a substantially rectangular shape that is wide in the left-right width direction, and is an opening that can accommodate the pair of backrest frame bodies 51 of the back support rod 5 with some play. Set to dimensions. On the bottom surface of the cover main body 81, a cylindrical collar portion 81 b that communicates with the spring receiving portion 52 of the back support rod 5 while being attached to the back support rod 5 is provided.

The buffer cover 82 is continuous with the front end portion of the upper surface of the cover body 81, and is disengaged from the back support rod insertion hole 81a when viewed from the opening direction of the back support rod insertion hole 81a. The non-mounting position (82A) (see FIG. 7 (c)), which is an open position, and the back support rod insertion hole 81a as viewed from the opening direction of the back support rod insertion hole 81a, can be attached to the contact portion 521. It can be rotated between the appropriate mounting position (82B) (see FIG. 7B). In the present embodiment, the connecting portion between the cover main body 81 and the buffer cover 82 is made thin or partially cut away so as to function as a hinge portion. The left and right width dimensions of the buffer cover 82 are set smaller than the inner method between the backrest frame bodies 51 (see FIG. 5).

In order to attach the back support rod cover 8 to the back support rod 5, first, the back support rod 5 is inserted into the back support rod insertion hole 81a in a state where the buffer cover 82 is positioned at the non-mounting position (82A). The buffer cover 82 inserted in the vicinity of the lower end portion of the back and rotated from the non-mounting position (82A) to the mounting position (82B) hits the abutting portion 521 or the front surface 522 of the spring receiving portion 52 of the back support rod 5. The buffer cover 82 is moved until the tip end portion of the buffer cover 82 is pressed against the contact portion 521 from the front side. The front end portion of the buffer cover 82 has a shape that sandwiches the contact portion 521 from above and below, and further, on the front end portion of the buffer cover 82, the upward convex portion 521 a that is a fitted portion provided in the contact portion 521. A fitting hole 82a, which is a fitting portion that can be fitted, is provided (see FIGS. 4 and 7). The fitting hole 82a can be press-fitted with an upward convex portion 521a having a substantially hemispherical shape. Then, by attaching the tip of the buffer cover 82 to the contact portion 521, the relative mounting position of the back support rod 5 and the back support rod cover 8 is positioned, and the back support rod 5 is positioned within the back support rod cover 8. By preventing the wobbling and press-fitting the upward convex portion 521a into the fitting hole 82a, the fitting state of the buffer cover 82 with respect to the contact portion 521 becomes better. In the present embodiment, the buffer cover 82 is positioned by its own weight at the mounting position (82B) or between the mounting position (82B) and the non-mounting position (82A). In a state where the back support rod cover 8 is attached to the back support rod 5, the back support rod cover 8 is positioned behind the pivot point 5 </ b> X of the back support rod 5 with respect to the support base 4.

The back support rod 5 with the back support rod cover 8 attached in the vicinity of the lower end portion is pivotally attached to the support base portion 4, and the support base portion 4 is fixed to the back side of the seat shell 31 using a fixing means such as a screw. . In the present embodiment, the seat back cover 9 is attached from the lower surface side of the seat shell 31 with the operation lever 7 pivotally supported by the support base 4.

2, 8 and 9 (FIG. 8 (a) is a bottom view of the seat shell 31, FIG. 8 (b) is an enlarged view of the P region of FIG. 9 (a), and FIG. 8 (a) is a cross-sectional view taken along line aa), and is made of a synthetic resin having a substantially thin plate shape, and has a three-dimensional shape in which a central region is recessed from an outer edge portion. The seat shell 31 of the present embodiment is an integrally molded product. A seat cushion material 32 is configured to be mountable on the upper surface of the seat shell 31. Further, a substantially cylindrical engagement hole 311 opened downward is provided in the vicinity of each corner of the seat shell 31. Each engagement hole 311 penetrates in the thickness direction of the seat shell 31, in other words, in the height direction of the seat 3, and forms a slit 311 b as an elastic deformation inducing portion extending along the height direction on the peripheral edge 311 a. (See FIG. 8B). In the present embodiment, a pair of slits 311b are formed so as to face a portion that bisects a cylindrical peripheral edge 311a. In particular, the engagement hole 311 of the present embodiment forms a slit 311b at a portion of the peripheral edge 311a that faces the seat 3 in the left-right width direction. The engagement hole 311 having such a slit 311b is elastically deformed through the normal opening state (see FIG. 9A) that is not elastically deformed and the opening operation of the slit 311b, and the opening size is an opening in the normal opening state. It is elastically deformed between the expanded state (see FIG. 9B) that is larger than the dimension. In addition, each engagement hole 311 is provided with a tapered engagement protrusion 311c along the circumferential direction that gradually decreases the inner method from the opening side (downward) to the back (upward) at the opening edge of the peripheral edge 311a. ing. The seat shell 31 is formed with an operation lever interference avoidance hole 312 for avoiding interference with the base end portion of the operation lever 7.

The seat back cover 9 is shown in FIGS. 2, 10, and 11 (FIG. 10 (a) is a plan view of the seat back cover 9, and FIG. 10 (b) is an enlarged view of the Q region in FIG. 10 (a)). Thus, it is a thing made from the synthetic resin which makes a substantially thin plate shape, and can coat | cover the lower end part side area | region of the seat shell 31, the support base 4, and the back support rod 5 from the downward direction. The seat back cover 9 of the present embodiment is an integrally molded product. An opening 91 through which the upper end of the leg support 22 of the leg 2 can be inserted is provided at the center of the seat back cover 9. The opening 91 includes a gas cylinder hole 911 for attaching a gas cylinder disposed in the leg 2, and an operation lever hole for continuing to the gas cylinder hole 911 and avoiding interference with the operation lever 7. 912. The gas cylinder hole 911 has a substantially circular shape, and the operation lever hole 912 is a long hole extending in the left-right width direction from one side of the gas cylinder hole 911. The support base accommodating portion that can mainly accommodate the leg strut receiving portion 43 of the support base 4 attached to the seat shell 31 by recessing the region where the opening 91 is provided and the peripheral region below the other region. Further, in the vicinity of both side edges of the seat back cover 9, an elbow support in which a screw insertion hole is formed which is in contact with or close to the bottom surface of the elbow receiving portion 42 of the support base 4 and through which a screw for attaching the elbow H can be inserted. A part backing part 94 is provided. And the engagement pin 95 is integrally provided in each corner part vicinity site | part of this seat back cover 9, respectively.

As shown in FIG. 10B, each engagement pin 95 is mainly composed of a shaft portion 951 having a substantially cylindrical shape, and an engagement claw 952 that projects the tip portion of the shaft portion 951 to the side is provided. The engagement claw formation region 95A and the engagement claw non-formation region 95B not provided with the engagement claw 952 are divided into two parts around the axis. In the present embodiment, the tip end portion of the shaft portion 951 is substantially equally divided into an engaging claw forming region 95A and an engaging claw non-forming region 95B, and the engaging claw forming region 95A and the engaging claw non-forming region 95B are divided. 95C, in other words, both end portions of the engaging claw 952 are positioned on substantially the same straight line in plan view. In particular, in the present embodiment, the step portion 95C, which is a boundary portion between the engaging claw forming region 95A and the engaging claw non-forming region 95B, is set at a location facing the seat 3 in the front-rear direction. More specifically, each engagement pin 95 provided in the vicinity of the four corners of the seat back cover 9 has an engagement claw forming region 95A facing inward in relation to the engagement pin 95 facing in the left-right width direction. They are set to face each other. That is, each engagement pin 95 sets an inward half-circumferential region near the center in the left-right width direction of the seat back cover 9 in the front end portion of the shaft portion 951 as the engagement claw forming region 95A, and the outward side A half-circumferential region (outer edge side of the seat back cover 9) is set as an engagement claw non-formation region 95B. The base end portion of each engagement pin 95 is provided continuously with a highly rigid mounting base portion 96 that protrudes upward from the upward surface of the seat back cover 9. The mounting base 96 includes a hollow box portion 961 and one or a plurality of ribs 962 provided inside the box portion 961, and the upper surfaces of the mounting base portions 96 are all parallel and smooth surfaces. The protruding directions of the mating pins 95 are parallel to each other, and the base end positions of the engaging pins 95 are the same. When the seat back cover 9 is bent and deformed so that the vicinity of the portion where the mounting base 96 is provided is curved, the mounting base 96 is tilted according to the bending state of the seat back cover 9, and the engagement pin 95 is accordingly moved. The mounting base 96 is inclined at the same angle as the inclination of the mounting base 96.

Next, the procedure and operation for assembling the seat shell 31 and the seat back cover 9 together will be described.

Before assembling the seat shell 31 and the seat back cover 9, the lower end portion of the back support rod 5 to which the back support rod cover 8 is attached in advance is pivotally supported in the vicinity of the rear end portion of the support base portion 4. The base end portion of the operation lever 7 is pivotally supported, and such a support base portion 4 is fixed to the lower surface of the seat shell 31.

Then, as shown in FIG. 12, with the lower surface of the seat shell 31 facing upward (inverted state), the seat back cover 9 is passed through the opening 91 and the operating lever 7 is passed. When the operating lever 7 is passed through the opening 91 of the seat back cover 9, the operating lever 7 is rotated in a direction in which the region on the tip end (the handle 72) side is separated from the seat shell 31, thereby operating the operating lever 7. 7, the space between the front end portion side region, the seat shell 31 and the support base 4 can be greatly increased, and the operation of passing the operation lever 7 through the opening 91 can be performed more easily. The operating lever 7 shown in FIG. 12 is not in a state where the tip end (the handle 72) is rotated in a direction away from the seat shell 31, but is in the same posture as that shown in FIG.

As shown in FIG. 13, the engagement holes 311 of the seat shell 31 are respectively engaged with the opening 91 of the seat back cover 9 at a position where the lower surface side of the seat shell 31 can be covered through the operation lever 7. The pins 95 are sequentially pressed and inserted.

As the engaging pin 95 is inserted into the engaging hole 311, the engaging claw forming region 95 </ b> A presses the inwardly tapered engaging protrusion 311 c provided at the opening side end of the peripheral edge 311 a to engage the engaging hole 311. When the engaging pin 95 is further inserted, the engaging claw forming region 95A gets over the engaging protrusion 311c of the engaging hole 311. At this point, the engaging hole 311 is elastically restored and is returned to the normal state. As shown in FIGS. 14, 15, and 16 (a), the engaging claw forming region 95 </ b> A of the engaging pin 95 is engaged with the engaging protrusion 311 c of the engaging hole 311. 14 shows a state in which the seat back cover 9 is assembled to the seat shell 31 in a cross section corresponding to the cross section taken along the line bb of FIG. 10, and FIG. 15 shows the seat back cover 9 on the seat shell 31. The assembled state is shown by a cross section corresponding to the cross section taken along the line cc of FIG. 10, and FIG. 16 (a) is a partially enlarged view of FIG. In the present embodiment, the direction in which the pair of slits 311b provided in each engagement hole 311 faces is set substantially parallel to the lateral width direction of the seat 3, whereas the end of the engagement claw 952, that is, the engagement. Since the direction in which the pair of stepped portions 95C, which are the boundary portion between the engaging claw forming region 95A and the engaging claw non-forming region 95B, faces is set substantially parallel to the front-rear direction of the seat 3, the engaging pin 95 is engaged. In the engaged state engaged with the joint hole 311, the step portion 95 </ b> C of the engagement claw 952 and the slit 311 b of the engagement hole 311 are not aligned on the same straight line but are substantially orthogonal to each other. As a result, even when a force that pulls the engagement pin 95 straight in the anti-insertion direction is applied in the engaged state, the engagement claw forming region 95A is caught by the engagement protrusion 311c of the engagement hole 311 and the engagement pin 95 is prevented from coming off from the engagement hole 311.

According to the above procedure, the seat back cover 9 can be attached to the seat shell 31 without using a fastener such as a screw. In this attached state, the back support rod cover 8 has a notch 93 formed in the seat back cover 9. The back support rod cover 8 and the seat back cover 9 are prevented from interfering with each other.

In this embodiment, the engagement pin 95 and the engagement hole 311 function as an engagement mechanism K used when the seat back cover 9 and the seat shell 31 are attached to each other. The seat back cover 9 and the seat shell 31 can be assembled to each other by engaging the engagement pin 95 and the engagement hole 311 with each other.

In the state where the seat back cover 9 and the seat shell 31 are assembled to each other by the engagement mechanism K, the gas cylinder hole 911 in the opening 91 of the seat back cover 9 and the leg strut receiving portion 43 of the support base 4 When the leg column 22 that communicates with the cylindrical portion 431 in the height direction and the gas cylinder is disposed therein is inserted into and attached to the gas cylinder hole 911 and the cylindrical portion 431, the head of the gas cylinder is attached. The support base 4 is positioned at a position facing the cylindrical portion 431. In addition, a region near the base end of the operation lever 7 (specifically, a bent portion 713 of the lever main body 71) is positioned in the operation lever hole 912 in the opening 91 of the seat back cover 9. The lever main body 71 is allowed to rotate between the pressing position and the non-pressing position.

On the other hand, the seat back cover 9 can be removed from the seat shell 31 at the time of replacement or maintenance of internal parts (back support cover 8 and support base 4 etc.).

When removing the seat back cover 9, first, the leg strut 22 is pulled out in the inverted state, then the engagement state between the engagement pin 95 and the engagement hole 311 is released, and the seat back cover 9 and the seat shell are released. 31, and the seat back cover 9 is removed from the seat shell 31 while passing the operation lever 7 through the opening 91.

In the present embodiment, when the engagement pin 95 is removed from the engagement hole 311, the vicinity of the portion where the engagement pin 95 is provided in the seat back cover 9 assembled to the seat shell 31 is warped away from the seat shell 31. By applying a force to bend and deform, the attachment base 96 is inclined according to the degree of warping (the degree of bending of the seat back cover 9), and the engagement pin 95 is inclined in the engagement hole 311 in synchronization with this inclination. I am doing so. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 16 (b), the engagement claw non-formation region 95B of the engagement pin 95 is tilted by the inclination of the highly rigid engagement pin 95 that cannot be elastically deformed or is suppressed from elastic deformation. Presses the peripheral edge 311a of the engaging hole 311 and receives the pressing force, the engaging hole 311 is elastically deformed to be in an expanded state. Subsequently, as shown in FIG. When an operation force for warping or an operation force for pulling in the direction opposite to the insertion direction when the engagement pin 95 is engaged with the engagement hole 311 (counter-insertion direction) is applied, the engagement hole 311 is in the expanded state. Following the engagement claw non-formation region 95B of the engagement pin 95, the engagement claw formation region 95A of the engagement pin 95 is also detached from the engagement hole 311, and the engagement state between the engagement pin 95 and the engagement hole 311 is changed. Canceled. In the present embodiment, since the engagement pins 95 provided in the vicinity of the corner portions of the seat back cover 9 are engaged with the engagement holes 311 of the seat shell 31, Repeat the procedure. Since the engagement pins 95 are integrally provided in the vicinity of each corner portion of the seat back cover 9, the engagement pins 95 are provided in the portion corresponding to the side portion of the seat back cover 9 or in the vicinity of the center portion. Compared to the case, the operation of warping the seat back cover 9 required when the portion of the seat back cover 9 provided with the base end portion of the engagement pin 95 is tilted can be performed with a relatively light force.

Thus, in the chair 1 according to the present embodiment, the back support rod cover 8 covers the cover body 81 and the contact portion 521 of the back support rod 5 and is more than the contact portion 521 when the back support rod 5 is tilted backward. Since the buffer cover 82 that comes into contact with the support base 4 preferentially is integrated with the buffer cover 82, the buffer cover 82 effectively generates a contact sound with the support base 4 generated when the back support rod 5 is tilted backward. Of course, the buffer cover 82 can be attached to the back support rod 5 by carrying out the operation of covering the cover body 81 on the back support rod 5, and the buffer cover is a relatively small member. Forgetting to attach 82 can be avoided. Moreover, since the relative mounting position of the back support rod 5 and the back support rod cover 8 is positioned by attaching the buffer cover 82 to the contact portion 521, it is also necessary to provide a dedicated positioning means separately. Therefore, it is possible to effectively reduce the number of parts and simplify the structure.

In particular, the cover main body 81 has a back support rod insertion hole 81 a for allowing the back support rod 5 to be inserted, and the buffer cover 82 has a back support rod insertion hole 81 a of the cover main body 81. It is located in the non-mounting position (82A), which is a position away from the back support rod insertion hole 81a when viewed from the opening direction, and the back support rod insertion hole 81a as viewed from the opening direction of the back support rod insertion hole 81a. Since it can rotate between the mounting position (82B) that can be mounted on the contact portion 521, the buffer cover 82 is positioned at the non-mounting position (82A), so that the back support rod insertion hole 81a has a back. The operation of inserting the support rod 5 can be performed smoothly. After the back support rod 5 is inserted into the back support rod insertion hole 81a, the buffer cover 82 is positioned at the attachment position (82B) and attached to the contact portion 521. As a result, the entire back support cover 8 is removed from the back support cover 5. It is possible to prevent accidental disconnection. Further, when considering a pulling direction in making a mold used when the cover body 81 and the buffer cover 82 are integrally molded, the buffer cover 82 is located at a position away from the back support rod insertion hole 81a. It is particularly effective to be able to be in a certain non-mounting position (82A).

In addition, a fitting hole 82a that is a fitting portion 223b that can be fitted into an upward convex portion 521a that is a fitted portion provided at the tip of the contact portion 521 is provided at the tip of the buffer cover 82. Therefore, by fitting the fitting hole 82a into the upward convex portion 521a, it is possible to realize a good mounting state between the buffer cover 82 and the contact portion 521 without using a fixing tool such as a screw, and the back support rod 5 is tilted backward. It is possible to prevent a situation in which the buffer cover 82 is detached from the contact portion 521 due to an impact that the buffer cover 82 sometimes receives due to contact with the support base 4.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiment described in detail above.

For example, the shape of the contact portion of the back support rod is not limited to that shown in the embodiment, and may be changed as appropriate. In that case, if the cushioning cover of the back support rod cover is appropriately changed to a shape that can cover the contact portion, the cushioning function is not impaired.

Further, the shape of the fitting portion of the contact portion and the fitting portion of the buffer cover may be any shape as long as they can be fitted to each other. An aspect in which the relationship is reversed, that is, an aspect in which a concave portion is provided in the contact portion and a convex portion is provided in the buffer cover may be employed. Of course, the number of the fitted parts and the fitted parts may be appropriately increased or decreased.

In addition, the specific configuration of each part is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
