Description
CaOおよびSiO2の配合原料として基本成分に天然鉱物のウォラストナイトを使用し、これに各種のCaO−SiO2系の原料を配合して中炭素鋼を連続鋳造するためのパウダーとしてCaO/SiO2が1.1〜2.0の範囲のものを各種試作した。表1にCaO−SiO2系の原料の配合と、パウダー全体の化学成分およびCaO/SiO2を示す。またこれらのパウダーの粘度と凝固温度も表1にあわせて示している。
Claims (4)
- 質量比でCaOおよびSiO2をCaO/SiO2=1.1〜2.0の範囲で含有する連続鋳造用パウダーにおいて、配合原料として天然鉱物のウォラストナイトを20〜70質量%使用し、さらにCaO/SiO2をウォラストナイトより大きくする配合原料を加えることによりCaO/SiO2を前記の範囲に調整するに際し、ポルトランドセメントを5質量%以下、炭酸カルシウムを13質量%以下としたことを特徴とする連続鋳造用パウダー。
- 炭素量0.08〜0.40質量%の中炭素鋼を鋳造するためのものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の連続鋳造用パウダー。
- 鋳造速度が鋳造量にして4t/分以上で鋳造するためのものであることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の連続鋳造用パウダー。
- 化学成分が、質量%で、SiO2:20〜35%、CaO:30〜50%、Al2O3:3〜15%、Na2O:1〜20%、F:2〜15%、C:1〜10%であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の連続鋳造用パウダー。
